Unprofessional and Unwelcoming just go to Greystar. We stopped in as walk-ins while the leasing office was open. Three staff were there. One woman barely looked up before saying, "Come back at 3:30." We returned at 3:19, no one else was there, I asked if we could tour now since we had already returned 2 hours later. She pointed some people just around the river bend outside the window lol. She told us to sit down and said she'd take us at 3:30. When other staff came in, she disappeared to the back. That's when we left. Finding housing is already stressful. As someone who works in this industry, I can say this is not how you treat potential residents. Makes me want to become a secret shopper again I refuse to spend my money with someone who is clearly incompetent, and lazy. I mean this is who you would have to communicate with if there is ever anything amiss in your unit. I'm glad we walked out, we found a beautiful condo in a much nicer community. Again just go with Greystar and avoid this mess. Majestic Realty Co. tsk tsk ;). Finishing up my third year living in this apartment complex and I've really enjoyed living here. I've lived in two different units and both times have been positive experiences. Maintenance is very quick with responding when I put in requests and getting things fixed. I've also had pleasant interactions with the workers, Tyrone and Miguel. They are amazing with keeping our community clean and are incredibly friendly and approachable. The only complaint I have about the apartment is their wifi. It's not always reliable and it's frustrating when the connection is slow or when I can't make calls. It did not improve much when I moved into a different unit. Overall, The Summit is a great place to live, especially with the convenience of all the shops nearby. I will definitely be renewing my lease! read more

Our experience at The Summit in Redlands was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the young lady assisting us was unfriendly and unwelcoming. She never greeted us or introduced herself when we handed her our IDs. As we toured the property, she remained silent -- no explanations, no enthusiasm, and no effort to make the experience informative or pleasant. When we entered the apartment unit, she didn't bother to turn on the lights or offer any details about the space. We had to initiate every question ourselves. I even asked if she was filling in for someone else because of how disengaged she seemed; she appeared offended and responded defensively. She then said she would call someone named Celina since I was "uncomfortable" with her. When Celina arrived, she also never greeted me or made any effort to improve the interaction. This poor customer service seems to be a pattern -- the complex rarely answers their phones, and that should have been my first warning. Overall, the experience was cold, unprofessional, and uninviting. Definitely not a place I would consider calling home. read more

I'm reviewing as a person who was looking for a tour to this location... IT WAS HARD!!! I called multiple times and it went straight to voicemail. I emailed, never got a response until the Zumper app. One time they did answer and it was a call center in India. Even they told us there's no online method to get a tour. "You must go in person" they said. We went once and they didn't have any tours available for that day... they stop tours at "dusk" but the sun was still out. It was weird. Then I found an app called "Zumper" to find apartments and I was able to find them and "book a tour" and I thought we were all set and ready to go FINALLY! Not exactly... they immediately called me and told me they do not have that time block available to please choose another time block and to not use any online tour bookings because they do not accept those. So we finally set up a tour for the day I requested but at 10:45am instead of 1:30pm. We came on time and we met them and they gave us a small tour of a 2bd apartment and we saw the attached garage and it was nice. They skipped other parts of the tour because they were on the opposite end of the entrance. For EV Vehicles, good luck! It's 1st come 1st serve. Unless you get the garage with the power to it so you can charge your car and that may not be necessarily attached to your unit. I believe it was another $500 for one of those? Your own attached garage doesn't have any power outlets and you cannot make any changes to it either for a charger for your car. It's not very pet friendly either. Yeah they have a dog wash station but I asked if you can change the door or get permission to get one that has a doggie door on it and they said "No". As a homeowner going to an apartment; my dogs are used to coming and going as they please to the back yard. In this case the patio but they won't be able to cause they won't have access to the outside until we get home. That's evil. Finally the monthly fees/rent... they use an algorithm to determine the price and they very nonchalantly said "keep an eye out on them... they prices will always go up". Very uppity is what I got from them because of their proximity to the mall. Overall not a very good impression; from trying to contact them; to the actual "tour", to the fees, and the amenities compared to the price of the units, plus their attitudes towards potential tenants. It's a Pass for me. read more

I lived at Summit Apartments for a while and honestly had such a great experience! The community itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained--just a really comfortable place to call home. The atmosphere was always welcoming, and I felt safe and at ease living there. A special shoutout to Bernie,Claudia and Selina in the office--they were absolutely amazing to work with. Always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful any time I had a question or needed assistance. It's rare to find office staff that genuinely care about the residents the way they do. They made my time at Summit even better. If you're looking for a place that feels like home and has a team that truly supports its residents, I highly recommend Summit Apartments. This apartment complex has a lot of problems. Things are always breaking, and maintenance is slow to respond. Our washing machine was broken for two months before it was finally replaced. The HVAC unit is inside the apartment and extremely loud. The window shades don't block sunlight, so we had to buy blackout curtains. The entry/exit gates are often broken. When the power goes out, so does the Wi-Fi and the key fobs for accessing amenities. The water has been shut off several times, leaving us with either no water or freezing cold water. Traffic noise is loud, making it hard to keep windows open. The walls are thin--you can hear neighbors walking and closing doors. Pest control is ineffective; we had an ant infestation and had to pay for our own treatment. The gym is poorly equipped with limited machines. Parking enforcement is strict--cars in your spot get towed, which is the only thing that works well here. The mailroom is disorganized, with packages often piled up instead of placed in mailboxes. The front desk staff seem uninterested and unhelpful. Overall, I do not recommend living here. read more

I have so much to say about this place...They made false accusations about my husband and I. They told him, the leasing office called the police on us and that police showed up to our apartment when we were not here. My husband called the police department and they said that they did not receive any complaints from the apartment complex, so they were just trying to intimidate us and that's just to begin with. My car has been stripped apart twice! They do no care and they have the audacity to say it's not their responsibility any of this, like what? I AM PAYING YOU EVEN EXTRA PARKING SPACE FEES (bcs they are very good at charging extra for everything, that's something they do good) and you can't even make sure I feel safe or my property is safe? What kind of joke is this. I can't wait to get out of this shit hole. If you don't want your property to be stolen, damage, false accusations and workers that need to be beg to do their job, DO NO LIVE HERE. I do not write reviews to anything but ho** f**k, this place is hell on earth and you deserve to know before coming to live here. I wish someone had told me. My fiancé and I have lived at the Summit for a year now, and just renewed our lease. We love living here. The amenities are superb and well taken care of. The apartments are nice and the maintenance staff is quick to handle any issues that come up. Tyrone in particular is fantastic! I see him every morning in the dog park, where he's always tending to the property. He's got a great attitude, is friendly, thoughtful and makes every effort to accommodate. Tyrone makes the Summit feel like a community and seems to get along with everyone. Excited to continue enjoying the property here in Redlands. read more

If there were an option for 0 stars in relation to customer service I would give this place that. Not only was this the 2nd time I've been there this month and NO one would show an available unit, but the sales rep was dismissive, rude, and lazy. First time earlier this month she wouldn't show the apartment because she was about to go on her lunch break. The second time which was today , the office was closed when we arrived the first time around 3pm, we came back around 4pm and the office was open but she wasn't anywhere to be found. After waiting about 15 minutes in the lobby where another couple came and left due to no assistance she walked in .She stated she doesn't show apartments on the weekend without an appointment. When asked for a manager she explained he only works during the week. I explained that NO one has answered the phone all day to make an appointment and that I work during the week, the rude girl still insisted on not giving any information about the apartments cost or availability!! I was definitely wondering how this place is open and why she was working there. I did get her manager name which is Bernie and will be calling back on Monday, but again no one answers!! Terrible service and I am so confused on how these apartments are in business! I will not be back a third time!! Good luck if you live here getting some kind of assistance! Compare to other apartments I have lived before, this place is pretty clean, and gives that campus vibe (which I love). The location is pretty amazing, most places you need such as dining, groceries, desserts, etc. are at a walking distance which is convenient now that gas prices are high. Maintenance team are so friendly and kind. When we have issues they are very quick in coming to make sure it's fixed. Arlene (hopefully I spelled that correctly) is very kind, she always says hi and makes sure that everything is at the top of our likings! There are some glitch that sometimes annoy us which is WiFi, I work from home and the wifi is very slow and disconnects at least 11-20 times during my 8hr shifts. We talked about getting our own wifi, but paying for two wifi sounds painful to our bank accounts. I hope the option of opting out the apartment wifi, and to be able to get our own WiFi will come in the future! read more

Customer service at the Summit. Thank you for confirming that there was a stabbing and someone literally got stabbed during a big fight with a crowd hanging out in our apartment building. It doesn't matter if it was residents or not. Matters is that a person was stabbed and multiple people were fighting. And of course this isn't my real name. Don't know too many people that use their real name here, just handles. So does that mean there was going to be retaliation on me for saying a person was stabbed here that's why you looked me up? Extremely rude and very unprofessional. They'll put up signs be back in 30 minutes for lunch and you'll see a few residents waiting outside for them...35 minutes...40 minutes...45 minutes and then they finally decide to get up off their chairs WHERE THEY CAN SEE YOU WAITING FOR THEIR HELP to ask you in a rude tone as if you've committed a grievous error. Really shithead you work here, you work at my pleasure not Vice versa. If you are one of the unfortunate ones who move in here due to circumstance make sure you ask to bug blast the apartment or you're fucked. Your patio will be visited by spiders ants roaches, they don't have a insect repellent company and you can clearly see it when you walk through the property in the evening. We left for vacation for 3 weeks and emptied our entire refrigerator and threw away all dry foods before we left and somehow came back to ants everywhere with a few spiders....(this was the second month of us moving in) worst experience of all time. Ohh and my wife Reena was the resident. just in case you try some bullshit with don't have any resident under that name. Fix you company and Fire your entire customer facing side. Loved living at The Summit, too bad I had to find something closer to work. It is very well kept, whenever someone would leave trash laying around it would be cleaned up the next day. Staff (office and maintenance) was always friendly, never had a complaint. Love the finishes in the apartment, the countertops and sinks were my favorite. Neighbors were friendly and you usually see people walking their dogs throughout the day. There's a gate that leads you straight into the shopping centers, so much to do walking distance. read more

The apartments are nice and have many inside amenities and features within the complex. Not to mention, the walk score is excellent as there are restaurants and major brand name stores within walking distance such as Target, Ulta, Sephora, Barnes & Noble, and Banana Republic. Downtown Redlands is close by with fun nightlife restaurants/bars, market night. I thought it would be noisy because of all the stores and customers, but I hardly hear anything. Yes, there was a stabbing. However, don't let that discourage you from considering The Summit as a viable option. That incident is not typical of this address, but let's be realistic, crime happens anywhere. Do the research of this address for yourself as I did prior to moving in. I have not noticed any homeless hanging around, garages being broken into, poor service from the office. If people are being evicted left and right, that's a good thing, which only proves how far management is willing to go to ensure the complex is safe, and occupied by quality tenants, who will respect and follow the rules. The employees and maintenance have always been friendly and helpful to my family, and I appreciate the efforts they make to ensure our living situation is comfortable. The tenant who posted 9 days ago sounds like he may have an ax to grind due to some personal issues with management, or maybe it wasn't a good fit for their lifestyle or expectations. I've been living at the Summit Apartments for 10 months now and I have no complaints! The complex is conveniently located within walking distance of local shopping, and the grounds are super well-kept. I truly enjoy the whole environment and love chatting it up with my neighbors as well as the wonderful staff! I can confirm that maintenance requests are resolved VERY quickly (shoutout to Mike!) and the amenities are great. Selina & Claudia have both been a great help and are always responsive/make every effort to provide resources/help me resolve any concerns that come up. Came to the leasing office to ask about information for a few 2 bedrooms that we saw available online. ( Which we tried to contact via email about 2 weeks before we came into the office & no response from that email ) So my Wife, Brother in law, and I decided to stop Thursday March 7th, 2024 by the leasing office to try to get some more information. The lady that was in the front office took about 2-3 minutes to even realize we were there and didn't even introduce herself. She had brunette hair, even had her head phones in. When we asked about information on 2 bedrooms she just gave us a card and said "to check online" rudely. We then stated that we already had attempted to contact via email / online and no response, that we are interested in scheduling a tour and then states again that we would have to reach out via website. She kept reiterating " you have to check online" as if we were not comprehending what she was saying, in reality she just didn't want to do her job. She looked flustered, annoyed, and was ready to go home but the office still had an hour left till close. Why couldn't she just help schedule an appointment for a showing, I have no clue? Like what kind of customer service are you even providing here? To treat future residents like they are illiterate when they are about to spend 33k-40k on a 1 year lease is mind boggling!! Future residents, Save your time, money, and energy!!! You deserve better than what this management can offer! Prior to stopping by the Summits office, we had just done a tour at The Venues at Orange in Redlands as well and they were extremely informative, friendly, and professional! Check them out and also, The Crossings in Redlands and The Circas right next to them. The same Management operates the Crossings and Circas, they were AMAZING!!! For the first two years while I was living here in building 5 maintenance on the place was sub par. Not a lot got done around my area, the trash and leaves on the ground would rarely get picked up, the park by my house reeked of urine, the recreational areas and sit down areas were not cleaned regularly, and regular maintenance was hard to receive. Around 4 months ago i noticed that all the little things started to get taken care of. The leaves and trash around the halls were pretty much none existent, the sit down areas were inviting, and there almost no urine smell. So we'll kept that I took notice so I kept an eye out for the person responsible of keeping my neighbors and my area maintained. One day I was going to the gym And I saw a man cleaning the lawn. Tyron Young, his work alone speaks for Itself. He is a humble man who work hard and puts effort in all things. He does his job with pride and to a tee. He leaves no stone unturned and you can tell he take pride in every thing he does. He always takes the time to say hello to me even from afar well he's doing a hard task and when I've asked him for help he is always willing and communicates with me for a time he can help when it doesn't interfere with work. Even one time helping me after he clocked out. Tyron has made the summit apartment feel like home not only because he takes care of my neighbors and I but he goes out of his way to help, do things to the best of his ability, and takes time to be friendly. read more

Especially when you have one or more cars, you'll be put on the waitlist that could take over a year . Everyone that lives here also parks in visitors, and you'll see cars that have not moved at all with spider webs underneath.
