Karena is amazing!!! Very professional, friendly and efficient! Her and the Lewis Mgmt team processed my paperwork expeditiously and got me in a newly renovated spacious unit quickly. I have lived in many apartments in my lifetime and their leasing process was definitely the smoothest, quickest and most time efficient. As a nice touch. they even provided a little goodie bag upon move-in that included basic essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products.... their customer service is unmatched in the area. well let's see ! my moms car was just broken into. They took everything out of it even down to the car registration. We were parked right in front of the leasing office and of course the cameras don't pan out that far. This complex consistently has car break ins and dumpster divers and homeless people roaming around and walk freely through the complex. No security on Sundays. This isn't even the half of what I experienced living here for the past 3 years . Fed up, sick and tired of it all. I can leave a review about so much more but I will just mention this . I am writing this review because I always appreciative where credit is due IF it was a 10 star review I would've went with 100 stars and I'll tell you why I Have a every night manager His name is KEITH PENDER since I know him he always been respect to me, my kid and my parents every single time he sees me or my parents which happened to me 73+ years old request not just one try any time help his customer services is amazing as far as I know 99% of the people know him rather I go for walk 8pm after dinner or 1:30 am in the morning going to work he is always patrolling also if I have any small issues and I call the answers on the first ring and if you're able to help he'll do it right away. If not, he'll make sure that I did a help first in the morning tomorrow rather if it's maintenance or rent or car issues, in the best part about it is follow up when he comes back to work following and that is impressive to me read more

Specially CATHY Whatever question or concern you have she always have the right answer and always helpful. The maintenance works get the work orders done in a fast and timely manner. poor service even for future residents. I called and asked if they will close at a certain time on the day and told them it's because I will take a cap and I will need to make sure it's open. They said no, not closing on that day. I arrived at 2:30pm (obviously not a lunch time), but the office was closed and did not open until 3:05pm. I mentioned it to the person who answered the phone, but she did not say anything, let alone apologizing for her making me wait after giving me the wrong information. Then she called the next day, I told her I am not interested. She called again and left a message if I am interested. I saw enough that how they will treat residents if they are treating prospect residents this way. They will not get my business by making me wait over 30 minutes, not acknowledging their poor service, and bothering me on the phone. read more

Renter beware!!! I lived at Rosewood for two years. The first 6 months was fine. The rest of the time was a nightmare!!! Theft is a huge issue that's not addressed by management staff. Your car will not be safe in the parking lot!! If you have a unit on the first floor plan on it being broke into. Make sure your renters insurance is up-to-date and your deductible is low. You will be using it living here. When I first moved in the staff in the office was kind and helpful. The staff that took over and is currently in the office are terrible. They act like you as a resident are bothering them. The attitudes are uncalled for. When I moved out I was charged fees for things that I shouldn't have been charged for. They said they had to replace my carpet. We'll a shipment came to my old Appartment and it had my phone number on it. The current residents as so kind to reach out to me and let me know she had my package. I went to pick it up. It was obvious that the carpet was not replaced. The carpet wasn't even nee when I moved in. This place is a over priced dump!!!! The pics online are not at all what your Appartment will look like. They will show you a Appartment when trying to get you to rent that is all done up with upgrades. What you will get isn't any of that. You will get a half ass fixed piece of garbage. I'm telling you stay away! I see 5 star reviews on here and I'm shocked! read more

I recently moved from NC, and I came to see rosewood apartments since day one Chantal from the office has been extremely helpful and her staff I have not encountered or experienced NOTHING negative nor what ever the reviews have to say. Don't let a petty bad review stop you into coming to this property and having your own experience. I haven't seen nothing as Car jacking, etc etc the property just upgraded a lot of amazing things in the property. Since I've moved in I have seen the police here multiple times, homes and cars have been broken into and robbed, a truck was put on bricks and all tires were stollen, in fact in 2 days 2 full size motor cycles were stolen from the parking lot.... one of them being my 19 yr old son's (that he got as a college graduation gift) and the cameras were not working!? Homeless wondering around and going through the trash and parking lots day/ night. To top it off, I get a call at work from a concerned resident that the screen on my window has been tampered with and pulled over about an inch??? I have never lived in a place that I am afraid to sleep. I wouldn't suggest this place. read more

We have not moved in as of yet. But the process that we have gone through has been amazing. First, the apartment is a great and affordable price. For the area and type of layout, size, ect. Conveniently located from shopping, food, and entertainment. But the reason I am writing is the experience we had with the staff, James and Jackie. They have been super friendly and helpful! James makes you feel welcomed and not just another body in a lease. They both make you feel part of the community. Once papers were signed, we received a thank you and welcome card from James. Very thoughtful... and made us laugh along with a "what's near you" as in food, shopping, and entertainment. I have a good feeling that we picked the right apartment to live in! Went to look at the apartments today due to the fact it was listed as pitbull friendly and indeed it is NOT! Not sure how it made it on here but they will not rent to you even with insurance. The young lady was nice but tried to tell me that insurance companies won't cover them and that's when I told her umm yeah State Farm DOES COVER PIT BULLS AND THAT WE WOULD BE WILLING TO GET THAT ALONG W AN UNDERWRITER OF RENTERS INSURANCE (double up) and she said the Lewis Apartments DO NOT RENT TO A LIST OF DOGS so right now my son is about to become homeless because he can't find a place that will let him keep his dog. I already have two and can't have any more unfortunately read more

I'm writing this review based on my touring experience. Everyone at the front office was friendly and helpful. I made my appointment to tour the apartments with James who sounded eager to help and seemed like he had a good energy. Nicole showed us around the complex and she was informative and was able to answer all our questions. The manager, Jacqueline was also very nice. She emailed me a few days later to follow up and see how I was doing with my apartment search. I definitely recommend checking out rosewood. read more

This is one of the worst experiences I've had with ANY rental. Lewis Property will not respond. They have black mold in their apartments and are charging me erroneous fees for moving out. I am now in legal consult. Do not rent there. Christina and front staff have been prejudiced against my small service dog and my disability. Upstairs neighbor repeatedly bullied my daughter which is a minor. I wrote letters, called corporate and nothing changed. I left there because it was unsafe and the back lash from the office and neighbor got so bad, it effected my health. They will lie and cheat. Now going to court for charges that are totally false in the move out! Make sure you document everything, keep a journal, and take lots of pics as I did. Can't wait for justice to be served. They aren't good people!! Plus my car was damaged during their tree trimming and of course, they aren't responsible so beware if you rent here now or are interested. They just want your money. I'd post some epic pics as proof but not laying my cards out for them. They can sweat it in court!!! RUN AWAY!!! I wouldn't give a star, but you have to give one to post. Hope this helps other people!! Interesting they put note on here AFTER I made my review!! Notice no name is attached to message, nor do they mention anything but an invoice they can send me. I gave them updated address and they chose to send me to collections, which I'm now negotiating with. Their charges are outrageous and wrongfully reported on their invoice. My wife and I stopped my this Monday to look for a new rental for the next 12 months. What pulled us to this property we're the Yelp reviews, the stars seemed too good to be true particularly because neighboring properties are terrible. The policy wrapped around dog owners not picking up after themselves is no joke, when we arrived to the property a pit bull was running around and the property team sniped the doggy poo poo. This wasn't just one employee, it was several who were passionate about enforcing their policy, and ensuring standards are met for the quality of life of the other residents. Well Done! Tiffany was fantastic and incredibly attentive to our needs, we had our Siberian Husky with us and he was not loving that Redland heat, Tiffany gave our pooch Max a cup of water and made his day. Sadly, we did not move into this property, we took a property in Big Bear due to my wife's health this was our number one choice, had we not taken Big Bear we would have been happy residents at Rosewood. We both highly recommend stopping by and having a chat with the team here! read more

Me, my husband and my son had a wonderful experience while applying for the apartment. Special thanks to Mr. James Urrea who did his very best to assist and attend our needs during the whole application process. He kept us updated with pricing. He even babysit/played with my son while I was opening accounts for the electricity,gas and renters insurance. We really felt special too. Plus the unit is very clean, and the kitchen has stove, washer and ref and most of all the unit has washer and dryer so though it's a little pricy at least you dont have to buy alot of the appliances.We just got the unit and we are looking forward to also have a wonderful time/experience while we are here. read more

THIS PLACE IS A PIECE OF $#i+!!!!!!!!! I have been a resident here for more than 5 years. Everything was fine at first.... until the string of robberies started. One night, my bike was stolen from my parking spot, RIGHT BY A CAMERA..bike locked up and everything! They didn't do shit and neither did the police..(duh) Get this, even stated they couldn't show me the footage because it covered more than my parking spot. (Isn't that the purpose of a fuggin camera to begin with, to cover a wide area?!). Not only did my bike get stolen, my neighbors truck was broken into, my other neighbor actual apartment broken into, and also another neighbors unit broken into as well. Followed by some guys tools being taken out of his truck, gas siphoned from vehicles...like WTF! THIS WAS ALL IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS! This is the best part....Their best solution to this problem is to send a whistling ass security guard around making "extra rounds" with a fuggin flashlight. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you wanna have a garage sale with your personal items without having a choice while security probably bumping his favorite album through his damn headphones making his rounds at Somerset! Me and my family have lived here for 2 years. We just purchased our first home and the Rosewood aparntmemts have been the perfect family location to live. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Service is second to none if you break something or need something replaced. Ask for Adriel De La Rosa he's the manager who signed us up and who we delt with the past 2 years. Friendly and great customer service! Off to new chapter in our life but we are thankful and appreciative of these apartments. Highly recommended. read more

I have lived here for 13 years and for the most part, I have been very happy. I have definitely seen a huge improvement since Adriel came to Rosewood. He is very courteous, informed of what's going on in the community and fair. I've had a couple of issues and he has always communicated with great professionalism. The maintenance staff is also very helpful. My main concern is that whenever you get a good staff, they end up leaving or getting sent some where else. Couldn't have been more happy. As a graduate student, this location was ideal. Just a 10 minute drive to Loma Linda University and always so quiet! It houses many families and health care professionals due to the VA and LLU-Medical Center being close by. The staff, Adriel, Rosalyn and Steve, are all very courteous. I was a bit hesitant at first when I used to come home at midnight after finishing my PM shift at the hospital, since the apartments are not gated, but I never had any problems! There are surveillance cameras in the parking lot, which makes me feel better. Unfortunately, I move out in about a month due to my rotations, and I am sad already. I DEFINITELY recommend this location. read more

We moved to Rosewood recently to be near Loma Linda Hospital. It was a fast and frantic move, but the manager Adrial and his assistant Chantylle were so helpful. Above and beyond. The apartments are nice. The surroundings are beautiful. It feels like living in a small town. The neighbors are friendly. So many dogs. They really are dog friendly here, which is so uncommon at most apartment complexes. Everyone who works here is friendly, professional and definitely competent. The maintenance crew - Steve and Chris - can be seen everywhere. Taking care of business and quick with a smile. I lived at Rosewood Apartments for almost 5 years. It was by far the best apartment community I have ever lived in. The move in/application process was fairly easy and quick. Because of my credit situation, my deposit was equal to my rent, which after a history of on time payments, I received about half of it back. You are responsible for ALL utilities at this property which seems to be the norm with most other apts. You are also required to have renters insurance WHICH IS FOR YOU AND YOUR OWN GOOD, and you can opt to get your own renters insurance through who ever you want ( I payed $81 a year through my insurance company) Rosewood does have a high turn over of community directors and staff (so dont get attached) BUT the good news is that Lewis trains all of their staff very well so the transition is seamless and uniform. Rosewood hosts monthly community activities like breakfast on the go, dinners from The Olive Garden...etc along with raffles, games, and prizes. Its always different....AND fun! Its always great to see the Community director and staff mingle with residents. Aesthetically, the outside of the apartments look their age and the grounds are park like and well kept with mature landscaping. Very clean/polished for apartments. The pool area is clean and inviting. The trash area and parking is also well lit and clean. The apartment it self, I had an 811 sq ft 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment downstairs, which again, aesthetically look their age, but very functional. All major appliances were included (even a washer and electric dryer) The noise levels from the adjacent apartments/tenants were barely noticeable. Maybe occasional water pipe noises, or an over zealous closet door slamming closed. Work orders are processed almost immediately, unless its extreme. They will fix/replace anything no questions asked (except regular light bulbs...lol) Rosewood is kid and pet friendly. There is a diverse mix of residents, from students of LLU, to DR's and even stay at home moms. Everyone is friendly and polite. Pet owners and parents are courteous and respectful of other tenants. The move out process was just as easy, fast, and surprisingly fair! I had to break my lease and did the lease buy out. Nearly 2 weeks after my move out, I received a refund check (whoa, yes REFUND) The community director and staff had my apartment ready AND rented out almost immediately after I moved which is the reason for the refund. I was only charged for cleaning, which was fair because I didnt clean it. In the end, I moved because our family outgrew our apartment otherwise I would have probably been a lifer at Rosewood. read more

I moved into Rosewood Apartments at the beginning of September. So far I love it here. I agree a gym would make it perfect. It's quiet here and seems very safe. It's a nice place to have dogs and it is very clean. They put up some cameras in the parking lots and I love that. I hope they can see all the cars. The leasing office is always so nice and very professional which is a huge thing for me. Nothing is worse then dreading to deal with someone because of their rude behavior. Adriel always has the answers and when there was a small problem he was very respectful when he talked to me about it. (Don't remember what the problem was ) As far as moving out I don't know yet what will come, but if I had to choose again I would choose Rosewood. read more

I am a medical student at Loma Linda. Rosewood made it easy for my dog and I to move in at a discounted rate in September, so I was pleased... At first. The freeway was loud. Some one threw the pool chairs and tables into the pool at one point. I heard from my neighbors that cars had been stolen right out of the parking lot (it is not a gated complex). It took 3 days to get someone in to repair the A/C in the heat of July. When it came time to move out, I was hopeful that I would get my deposit back. As I was cleaning my place thoroughly, my neighbors laughed and warned me that it was futile-- rosewood always keeps the deposit and then some. What they said proved true. Rosewood charged me for a pet urine carpet scan, even though they replaced the carpet regardless of the results (which in confident were unremarkable). They used my entire deposit, plus $70 more, for services I had apparently signed up to cover when I signed the lease. I don't recommend moving in here if you want speedy service when things go wrong or if you ever plan to leave the place at some point (it's a costly place to leave)! read more

the staff at rosewood apts are very nice, the maintenance crew are nice. the grounds are kept up, the units are nice on the inside and outside. the apts are right on the bus line and make it very convenient for the people that don't have vehicles. every month the apts have a thing where all the residents can get together adn either have food or play games so that is nice. read more
