The vibe was just right and as I entered the leasing office I met Jennifer and Vinci which not only were they super amazingly friendly but extremely helpful. They showed me my new apartment and took the time to guide me step by step on the application process and although we faced some difficulties with the portal and application process they guided me through the entire process till the very end and I'm very thankful and excited to start my new journey here at the countrywood apartments :) Jenn and Vinci you guys rock! I have lived in many apartments in my lifetime and their leasing process was definitely the smoothest, quickest and most time efficient. As a nice touch. they even provided a little goodie bag upon move-in that included basic essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products.... their customer service is unmatched in the area. As for the complex, I've lived here just a few weeks, but have had no issues at all.

Move in dates keep getting delayed with no end in site. Multiple times we have been told, "we'll know move in dates by..." then we don't receive anything so we reach out and they still don't know. This is playing games with the lives of potential tenants. Moves are strenuous financially, and in sense of time spent. We haven't been able to plan anything due to not knowing a move in date. The final straw was when my sister in law asked for a refund on the holding fees since we still don't know a move-in date. She's pregnant and going to be due within the next couple of months. She found another townhome that can actually offer a solid move in date and they're refusing to give back the holding fee. With all the miscommunication and lack of knowledge of timelines, I feel like getting the holding fee back should not be an issue. I'm really hoping things turn around with this location or we will be looking to live elsewhere.

Maintenance staff in particular have always been very responsive and helpful when we have asked for a repair. The staff were also kind when we needed an ADA accommodation for my daughter. All amenities (pool, club house and gym) are always well take care of and clean! One woman barely looked up before saying, "Come back at 3:30." We returned at 3:19, no one else was there, I asked if we could tour now since we had already returned 2 hours later. She pointed some people just around the river bend outside the window lol. She told us to sit down and said she'd take us at 3:30. When other staff came in, she disappeared to the back. That's when we left. Finding housing is already stressful. As someone who works in this industry, I can say this is not how you treat potential residents. Makes me want to become a secret shopper again I refuse to spend my money with someone who is clearly incompetent, and lazy. I mean this is who you would have to communicate with if there is ever anything amiss in your unit. I'm glad we walked out, we found a beautiful condo in a much nicer community. Again just go with Greystar and avoid this mess. Majestic Realty Co. tsk tsk ;). Upon the move in, Tee explained everything and I already feel a good sense of security :) They take parking matters seriously and I have absolutely no problem with that. Guests and unregistered cars are a no go, and I'm really happy with that! My previous apartment complex has a huge problem with that, there would be random cars parked on free guest spots for days and even WEEKS, maintenance or security doesn't do anything about it. I have problems finding parking as it is, so my new home here will make me feel less stressed and more safe. I'm all about rules to make residents like myself feel safe where they live. I'll update once I settle in and have a better understanding on my new living environment :)

I do admit it's strict here but I like that it is, allows to be a quiet, comfortable, clean, safe place to call home compared to other complexes in the area.

Juggling parking here is a major challenge. Many years of no water charge, we finally get an additional water fee added to our rent. They could not raise our rent any faster so this water fee was implemented. The stable water fee has a potential to go up at some point but it has not and from my understanding the new tenants pay more than the existing tenants. The property is still a great looking place and calm. In our apartment we still continue to see pests even with fumigations and it continues to be an inconvenience having to move our stuff every-time and be left out for hours for ventilation. Parking is just a nightmare here with only two reserved parkings, the office can hardly accommodate their own maintenance crew having to use our visitor parking and up to a recent maintenance project the office has decided to block visitors parking and strip us from our visitor parking privileges without notice as if they were disciplining us for tenants who misuse or for office not being able to properly manage visitor parking. No nearby street parking available and I have been towed twice and broken into my car with over 2k in losses. We have homeless that roam around at night, they use pool shower and let water running over the weekend when office is closed. This property is next to casino so expect traffic and long line to get in apartments at times. Just a heads up
