I was super happy to find this beautiful salon while visiting the area! Very nicely decorated. Calming effect, nice decor, smells and music. Nice and bright and open hair salon. I had an appointment with Ashley. I came in wanting a certain style a lob. She nailed it! Super nice gal, professional, pleasant and excellent and her craft! She gave me a tour of the salon and all of its other specialties. Just bring your paycheck you may never want to leave! The only reason for 4 stars is the layout. No one to greet you and you have to climb a huge flight of stairs to the salon. This would not work with older people. read more

I'm editing my review to be fair to the owner who has cut my hair in the past and done a very nice job. Pixies are pretty technical and I'm really picky about who touches my hair. So I'll just say that if you have short hair, stay away from Carter. I showed her a photo of my hair after a cut I liked and said I wanted that again. She clearly wasn't listening because instead of a wedge in the back, she shaved the entire back of my head to about 1/4". To top it off, she was rough and aggressive while doing it. I couldn't care less that she didn't charge me. And when she said I should book a different stylist next time, I just about lost it. As it was I cried for an hour. I also have to say I really didn't appreciate the other stylist giving her customer a blow by blow of being pulled over by a cop after an illegal lane change and her affront at being asked to take a DUI test when he smelled alcohol on her breath. I was sitting 20 ft away didn't miss a word. I can't say it's as bad as the time a woman cut my long hair into a mullet and I had to cut off 10" of curls to fix it, but it's not far off. So ok, hair grows back. Pass me my hat. read more

The Suite has many amenities and is very trendy inside. I ended up knowing my stylist from childhood. She was quick and efficient and the end result is amazing! I got a full baby highlight. Their customer service is despicable! When you reach out to ask a question, they will read the question and never respond! Days later I sent a follow up which was again read, but never responded to! A simple question! They never answer their phone or return voicemails either. There are so many other great options in this area to choose from, don't choose these guys! read more

I was scheduled for a black to smoky to blond(which my hair was prior to going in) ombré shown to the stylist for both last 2 appointments and prior to. All I had was a smudge root from last visit because they were out of black. Messaged their page multiple hours prior to see if they had black, still haven't even received a response. Came in today and was told again that they were out of black still. Then they came out stating they found black. My hair after rinsing by them turned black on top as it was supposed to be and a very noticeable blue black all over the rest of my hair. Only when she noticed she messed my hair up once she rinsed it had then told me that all she could find earlier was a blue based black and when I asked her if it was permanent it was. I was not told anything prior to starting except that they ended up finding black. My hair is now irreversibly blue no way back to all the bleach work and money I spent to get the look I wanted and was still charged for a full priced ombré. I do not have an ombré. My hair is black and blue! That's not including being charged full price for last sessions mishap of them being out of black. They do not apparently look to see what a patient is scheduled for or else you'd think I would've gotten contacted before going in twice of them being out of the color scheduled for. Emily is good but unfortunately I did not schedule these last two mishaps with her. If you have someone that doesn't know how to do an ombré or how to rinse black keeping it from bleeding all over the head, like for instance not rinsing straight back to prevent bleeding into blonde then don't schedule or warn clients before causing people problems when they go in to spend top dollar for at least decent results. Blue hair now. The attached picture was what I was going for in reverse, then they did a smudge root brown and toned my hair all gray. Now all black blue. Lol read more

So disappointed. I was trying a new salon for the first time in 20 years, and discovered upon arrival that the entire salon is up a very steep staircase and they have no elevator. I am unable to climb stairs, and ANY KIND of indication on the website that they are not accessible to people with physical disabilities would have been helpful. read more

I have seen Sydnei for a lash lift and tint, sugaring and most recently a facial. I am so incredibly happy with every treatment I have received from her! Not only is she so kind and welcoming, but she is a great conversationalist and answers all my questions about ongoing treatments and ones I want to try out. Her space is so cozy and relaxing and she is truly an expert in everything she does. I feel confident going to her for all my self care needs and have now seen her once a month for various treatments. Wow is all I can say. This place is absolutely beautiful inside and the atmosphere is so peaceful. No gossip going on no drama. Just flat out serenity. I had made and appt with Miki to get my nails pampered and she out shined any mail tech I have EVER went to before. I love Miki and her work is absolutely stunning. So I had an appointment at this place this morning, and due to a 911 call holding me up late at work, I called prior to my 10am appointment twice to reschedule my 10am appointment. No one answered the first time I called, and the second time I called it went to voicemail. So I left a voicemail asking them to call me, and I'd take any available appointment that they had available later today. No one ever returned my voicemail, and then as I was leaving work, they send me a text, that I'm a no-show. So I call them and finally someone answers, and they inform me I'm being charged as a no show, even when they didn't answer my calls, or listen to my voicemail. So once I got off work, I drove over to attempt reconciliation of the issue. I then sat in the lobby for 20 minutes, with no one ever coming to greet me. So this is the type of customer service you can expect here. I'll be sure to let my local neighbors, friends, and coworkers know about the type of service that one can expect here. I'll be watching my card for that no-show charge, and if that happens, there will be a Better Business Bureau complaint. read more

Emily is a really fun stylist to have! She made me feel super comfortable, and I left with bouncy and beautiful hair! It was the pick-me-up that I was hoping for. This salon has two lobbies, and one of them has a little fireplace that makes it really cozy. The location is upstairs, and it didn't look handicap accessible. Inside, the rooms are very well appointed and the aesthetician also showed me around to see the massage and facial rooms in the back. I thought really pampered and welcome, would definitely visit again, and definitely recommend this place for both men and women! read more
