So they hooked me up with this spa ($80/hr ... as opposed to the $120+/hr at the casino) -- and even gave me a shuttle ride to and from .... great concierge there! KRISTEN JENKINS was my masseuse. And I have to say, she was the second best massage I have ever had (the first was at the Hadsten House in Solvang, CA) I told her my specific needs - pains i had, injuries and ticklish spots to avoid. And told her to do what she thinks is best for me and my body. Specifically, I have a bum hip - and it had been really starting to hurt again. She worked that thing - and almost brought me to tears. I told her it hurt to which she explained the physiology of the muscles and that if I trusted her, she would help the pain. SERIOUSLY!!! I stood up afterward with NO pain -- and a week later still NO pain! I also struggle with headaches. She worked on those muscles -- miracles again! I booked this hair and makeup artist last year for my August 2026 wedding and paid a deposit to secure my date. Everything seemed fine at the time of booking, but when I reached out in January to schedule my trial, I received no response. I followed up multiple times over the course of four months via email, text, and phone calls--ignored every time. My wedding planner also attempted to contact her on my behalf, with no success. At this point, it is clear this is not a case of a missed message or temporary delay--Yessie ghosted me as a client. Because of this, I was forced to find and book a new hair and makeup artist under time pressure, adding unnecessary stress during what is already a busy planning period. To make matters worse, I never received my deposit back. For other future brides out there, please do not let Yessie scam you. Taking a client's deposit and then completely disappearing without any communication or services rendered is unacceptable.

I was a little nervous about getting a tattoo on my face, but my nervousness was quelled by looking at her past before and after client pictures. Molly is a perfectionist, and let me tell you, it's a great trait in the permanent makeup field. She worked with me, took the time to get a good feel for what I was looking for, and used a hardcore little ruler/protractor for precision and accuracy. She did a test before the actual permanent application so I felt good about her moving forward with permanence. The application itself wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't bad either. And it went surprisingly quickly. The way the ink works, right after she applied and for the next day or two my brows were darker than what they ended up being (I'm a dirty blonde). However, I think it's important to share my honest experience. First, I want to recognize Kalina, who was part of the hair and makeup team. She was absolutely wonderful. She did the makeup for my bridesmaids and my mom, and everyone looked beautiful and was so happy with the results. She was kind, professional, and incredibly talented. I would recommend Kalina without hesitation. As for Ari, there were positives as well. My makeup turned out beautifully, and I was happy with the final look. Ari is clearly talented, and I appreciated the time and effort she put into getting everyone ready. Unfortunately, there were several issues throughout the day that left me disappointed. My hair began falling out almost immediately after our ceremony. Before we had even finished family photos, pieces were already coming loose, and my maid of honor had to keep fixing it throughout the rest of the day. On your wedding day, the last thing you want to worry about is whether your hairstyle is staying together. Another issue was that my mom's hair was never fully finished. While everyone else's services were completed, hers wasn't, and she ended up having to make do. That was especially disappointing because she deserved to feel just as cared for and special on such an important day. After the wedding, I reached out to Ari with a thoughtful message explaining my experience. She initially responded, which I appreciated. I replied to continue the conversation and address the remaining concerns, but I never received another response. More than anything, I was hoping for communication and a chance to feel heard. Even if we had ultimately disagreed, simply following through with the conversation would have meant a lot. I understand that weddings are busy and that no day goes perfectly. What ultimately left me disappointed wasn't just the issues themselves--it was how they were handled afterward. Customer service doesn't end when the wedding is over, and I believe that how concerns are addressed is just as important as the services provided on the day itself. I truly wish Ari and her business continued success, and I hope future couples have a wonderful experience.
