They don't push the products on you, but they're there if you want them...it's been a great experience. Also, and this may be weird, but the hot towels don't smell! If you get facials often, then you may know what I mean. When they put a hot towel on your face, and it smells musty or weird....so gross. Total turn off. We liked the idea of having our nails "did" at a spa!! Our experience was (mostly) better than what we'd likely get (had we went to one of the many strip-mall nail-salons around town) Nice spa-vibe, relaxing pleasant atmosphere, comfy leather recliners, foot-soaking tubs scented with real flowers etc... However, when it came time to pay, the manager/owner said there was a problem with their Groupon device ?? said she wasn't able to call and resolve the matter etc. She refused to honor my deal, and she wouldn't even offer any sort of a discount! This all seemed very shady to me. In the end, I laid out $150 for two mani-pedis (WHAAAAT???) yep, on top of the $40 I'd already paid. I called Groupon myself. They said the business mishandled the event, they should have honored my Groupon anyway, they should have called to report any issues etc. On the plus side, Groupon refunded me the $40

The salon area is nice and big with the waiting area in the center and there is no strong salon smell due to the openness of the space. Comfy couches, a small retail area with trendy clothes, candles, and accessories - everything you don't need but will definitely want! The coffee and tea station had coffee but no cups and didn't appear 'stocked', so I wasn't sure if that was for customers or staff only. However, we were offered waters when we checked in. Front desk is not attended at times but it seems everyone helps jump in when needed. The stylists seem to love the owner and the opportunities she gives them. So happy we found this salon with great people and service!
