Absolutely Perfect "Yes to the Dress" Experience…read more Bridal & Tuxedo Galleria gave me a day I will truly never forget. I booked their Princess Appointment and the private bridal suite made the entire experience feel so intimate, calm, and incredibly special. Everything felt elevated from start to finish. Kayla, my stylist, was AMAZING. She was helpful, funny, relatable, and instantly made me feel comfortable. She completely understood my vision and made the whole process feel exciting rather than stressful. Her personality honestly made the experience even more magical. Mercedes was also wonderful -- she helped coordinate my appointment and was there during the fitting offering extra support (while wearing the cutest beret!). The entire team was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the moment special. Trying on dresses was such an adrenaline rush, and there was never any pressure -- just encouragement and joy. The most meaningful part was sharing the moment with my mom, aunt, and grandma -- the women who raised me. Saying "yes to the dress" with them there is a memory I'll cherish forever. To top it all off, I'm honored to be the first bride to wear the designer's dress & veil from his new collection -- such an unforgettable couture moment. We're very much giving couture! #LumiereByNavidNoor Endless thank you to the Bridal & Tuxedo Galleria team for a truly VIP experience. Highly recommend to any bride

If you care about who your money supports and how you are treated, do not use this company…read more The bride tragically passed away five days before the wedding. Despite the circumstances, this company still charged the groom, the bride's father, grandfather, brother, and all of the groomsmen for rental suits that were never picked up or worn. What made this especially disappointing was seeing how every other vendor involved handled the situation with compassion and understanding. Many of those vendors were also small, individually owned businesses that likely felt the financial impact far more deeply, yet they still chose empathy over profit. Even the wedding venue, which stood to lose significantly more financially, either refunded or waived charges immediately upon hearing the news. Instead, this company chose to prioritize collecting roughly $2,500 for rental items they can simply rent out again. Their response during an unimaginable tragedy spoke volumes about their values and how they view their customers. For full transparency, the company offered a 50% refund, but only on the condition that the party send a specific, pre-written statement for their records. They required us to write: "I accept a 50% refund... and I appreciate all the attention provided by Bridal and Tuxedo Galleria." Leveraging a partial refund to force a grieving family to sign a statement of "appreciation" is predatory. It was a calculated move to protect their reputation and mitigate liability while still profiting from a devastating loss. I understand businesses have policies, but compassion and basic human decency matter too. Unfortunately, that was completely lacking here.

They are nice, understanding, and efficient here. I will say their selection isn't as huge as upscale places, but you get what you pay for and my dress was $1300 which is insanely affordable and I am in love with it. For my brides trying to save a buck, but also look beautiful and have the bridal try on experience, this is for you!

We chose this David's Bridal location after seeing "walk-ins welcome" clearly stated on their website and drove over 45 minutes specifically because we believed we would be able to browse and receive assistance. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were told that walk-ins are only accepted if a consultant happens to be available, which is not something that was made clear online. What was most disappointing was not simply being turned away, but the way the situation was handled. From the beginning, the employee assisting us seemed visibly irritated by our presence, and when we calmly explained that we had made the long drive based on the website's wording, there was no attempt to offer a solution, provide clarification, or even show empathy for the inconvenience. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and carried an unwelcoming "you're free to go elsewhere" attitude. For a brand as established and well-known as David's Bridal, I expected a much higher standard of customer service. A little understanding and professionalism would have gone a long way, especially given that the confusion stemmed from the store's own website messaging. My advice to future shoppers: DO NOT rely on the walk-in policy listed online. Call ahead and make an appointment, even if the website suggests otherwise, unless you want to risk a wasted trip.

For years, I told myself that someday I wanted to update it into a cocktail dress so I could wear it again for an anniversary, vow renewal, or another special occasion. I had actually gone to another tailor previously and was told that what I envisioned couldn't be done. This is further testament to Carla and what she can do. From the very beginning, working with her felt like a true partnership. She brought an incredible level of craftsmanship, creativity, and honesty to the process. Not only did she make my vision a reality, but she also improved elements of the dress that I would have never questioned myself. There were details she insisted could be better -- and she was absolutely right every single time. Throughout multiple fittings, she was meticulous, patient, communicative, and deeply invested in making sure the final dress was exactly what I wanted (and what she knew it could become). Watching my wedding dress transform into something modern and wearable again was such a special experience. Pricing was fair and reasonable, and communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Wedding dresses are such unique and delicate garments, and her talent in working with them is truly exceptional. She is an artist and an incredibly skilled tailor.

We got rid of the puffy shoulders, large bow on the butt, hemmed it, took in the sides, fixed the bustle, shorten the sleeves, added lace to the back, etc. and it came out perfect. It was my dream wedding dress and such a special family heirloom now thanks to Carla It cost me about $1,500 but given the amount of work that went into it, it seemed fair and reasonable! I also got a simple elegant veil from Tailor Love which made things super easy!

ORIGINAL HEM (4 stars)…read more - Affordable pricing - About 1week turn around - Quality job - Pay at pick-up Over the phone I was quoted, $15 for alteration and $18 for "hem". Location is easy to find but street parking can be challenging. Upon arrival, you sign the sign-in sheet with name and number. I brought in a $110 pair of jeans needing alteration. I haven't worn baggy clothes since the 90s. But it's "in trend" again and didn't want the bottom of my pants dragging on the floor. They have a tiny corner they made into a "dressing" area and they did the measuring for me. It needed to be shortened but to keep the original bottoms in which they called "hem". Hem was vague and I had to communicate "original bottoms/hem" in the event someone re-reads "hem" incorrectly. She then puts on the receipt $15 which is regular alteration price and I had again to verify "this is for original bottoms" and she said yes and I had to re-correct her on her own pricing to $18 so there is no miscommunication of what service I need done and what I'm paying for. She couldn't log my service into the computer because it was down so she wrote me a paper order. A week later, I lost that paper order assumed they have a copy of that because I got the pink slip which is the carbon copy of the original. She didn't. They never logged my order in whenever their computer came back on. They didn't remember me. I had to explain what was altered, tried to show them I signed the log-in sheet with my name and number (seems useless, looks like they don't even archive that), and had to describe the pair of jeans. Luckily they found it but I think that was a bit disorderly. I checked the quality and it was great. Original bottoms aka hem was achieved! Will be back for more alterations on my baggy clothes. Until the next review...
