So I went to them ... some guy who I've never seen there cut my hair. The experience was weird, he was a little rude. Literally only took 20 mins. He cut too much off and I don't think he did a good job. I don't think I'm coming back to this place ever again. I rather pay more for a decent haircut and a decent person then spend cheap and get ugly looking hair and even worse customer service. And side note. If you don't like working with people maybe you should not be working in a hair salon where you have to interact with customers on the daily. At least my hair grows back and fast. That's the only reason why I didn't tell anyone I wasn't happy with this experience.

I seriously could've done a better job myself watching YT videos. When I brought up that she didn't do what I asked, she argued with me saying that she did what was best for my type of thick hair. I can't believe she charged me still charged me for the cut seeing how unhappy I was. My cut was so bad that I went to another salon in the same week and paid an additional $45 to have another stylist fix what she messed up on. The other stylist that fixed my hair looked at it and said straight up that the person at Top Cuts does not know how to cut layers and that my cut was really bad. If you're looking to get layers and thinning out on long hair, I would suggest you go somewhere else to not feel as disappointed and spent twice the money to get the cut you want. I went in for a trim and ended up getting 6 inches off instead because of what the stylist here did. If you're a guy, you may be okay. There were only men in the salon when I was there, so maybe that's their specialty.

Service is not a thing here, and unlike most salons, stylists (I've tried 3 different ones so far) are just not that personable. I've always tipped 20%...but I'm starting to rethink this, given how the service is so minimal. On my last 2 sessions, the stylist barely said "Hi" to me. The place itself is pretty cool looking (in a grungy kinda way?), but I feel that the place may not be clean as it should be. I could be wrong here, but I've seen dust on their surface and arty structures. Also, I really don't like how they blow dry and comb your hair with their fingers. Not just a little bit while blow drying...but all throughout! It just feels a bit gross. I mean, who knows how clean their fingers are! I also hate the way they wash your hair. They actually have a separate girl that wash your hair (instead of the stylists)...and this girl is just not good! She has zero strength in her fingers...and I hate the way she even touches your hair! Possibly THE worst hair washing experience (experiences) I've ever had in ANY salon. I can't believe someone that's actually hired for this job (hair washing) does such a poor job! Despite liking the location and pricing, service and overall quality is always an issue. I may give it another try...but if my thoughts and feelings are confirmed once again on my next visit, I'll just find another salon in the area.

I let the stylist know the cut I was envisioning my mom to have & she delivered! Taking her time the stylist( unfortunately I didn't get get name) teased my mom's unruly mane into a sleek stylish look which would not be too hard to maintain. The price was great too! $20 for style & cut(no wash). The salon had a constant flow of clients coming in for haircut or eyebrow threading with only 2 salon personnel handling it all. They offer several other services too as seen on their service menu( bleaching, makeup). While we got lucky with getting service without an appointment, while listening in on other conversations i would recommend making an appointment before hand. Overall we had a good experience & would recommend coming here for a nice,economical haircut.
