If you haven't gone to Studio Med Spa you should check it out. Pricing is great. The membership is the most reasonable $60 a month and you receive 7 units of botox. I just finished my second appointment at the studio Med Spa in Rancho Penasquitos and I have been extremely impressed both times! I saw Jackie today for some injectables and she had the most gentle painless touch I have ever experienced getting injections anywhere! 2.5 I got the laser facial rejuvenation & botox. Laser facial rejuvenation (twice) First, the good: I love how easy it was to book the appointment and having someone to help me out via text message. Ashley is very helpful. She has always called back and helped out. My email response hasn't been successful but then again sometimes my email goes into spam. The bad: Pre-service: I went two separate times of day and it was not the greatest start when I get numbed leading up to the service. I know it's new staff so they're probably just learning. It also seems they're a little behind if you're the first appointment at 10am. I've never met Dr.K. Only another doctor via iPad video conference. I was really excited to go to this office as it is close to me and saw the fellow yelpers about him. Even the consultation seemed great. The video conference Doc was not great. The technician afterwards told me I'm supposed to ask questions like that to him or the nurse. (Then why am I getting the consult...?) I have lost confidence in the nurse who helped me after today's botox session. I put about $995 in my face and the sun spots got darker (said so by the nurse herself). When she looked at the two pictures from today and the previous treatment from Dec.1, she commented on that. I asked to concentrate on certain areas and I don't think she did. I also got another mark on my chin that wasn't there and that didn't happen in my initial treatment in Oct. I'm sure my face got somewhat better but not the results I was seeing. More disappointed and when I voiced these concerns, seems like I have to put more money on the mistake they made. They suggested IPL. My thing is why couldn't I get suggested that during the consult the first time? Botox: I just needed it near my nose and usually they suggest where I should have it and she asked where I wanted it. I did, and I'll wait for my results to see. I only got it today. Stay tuned. They do have a membership plan and writing review I got some units. I'll most likely pull this. I want this business to do well and much better customer care and service. read more

They cancelled on me and reschedule for June and said they would honor that special. We'll June has 50 units for 450. So I asked if I could use that one. They assured me yes if i mention it when I come for my appointment and check in. I received for 47 units and they charged me 470. When I said I was being overcharged the person got really rude and I professional. She said we haven't had 30 units for $270 IN A LONG TIME. I said no you cancelled on me and said I could use mays special. She has to look up the text conversation then tried to put it on me by saying you wanted 50 units for $450 so you don't get that 30 unit deal anymore. Ok but I only got 47 units. She said we saved the 3 for you. Ok so 50 units for $450 still doesn't equal 470! Then I said why are you being so rude and she got even more rude and said you're being rude. All I want it to be charged correctly. I don't even know what my results are; I will never give my business somewhere that treats clients like this. This business was in the wrong and treated me like trash over their mistake or their trying to scam me - not sure what you want to call it. There are plenty of other med spas in the area. Take it from me, your business will valued elsewhere. This was my first time visiting and it was extremely uninviting. There was a blonde woman working the front desk and not even a single smile, very short and cold. Then I was taken to the back and again just very cold. I asked where I could sit and the response I got back was "can you tell me your bmi?" They had me back there for about 30 seconds to have me find out I barely didn't qualify for ozempic and told a med spa isn't right for me then sent me on my way.
