I would go back to her in a heartbeat. The spa itself is beautiful and clean, and the entire staff is kind and attentive. I'm giving four stars only because I've tried fillers twice and, unfortunately, didn't see the results I had hoped for relative to the cost. I'm not sure if my body simply metabolizes filler quickly, but I didn't feel the results justified the significant price tag. That said, I completely understand how difficult it is for clinicians to find that perfect balance... not doing too little, but also not overdoing it. I truly appreciate that they are trying to achieve a natural result while also making sure clients feel they received value. If I ever decide to try filler again, I would absolutely return to Holden Timeless and see Chelsea. For now, I'm going to save my money and perhaps revisit it down the road.

On June 21, 2025, I visited Avalon Laser to treat a few facial spider veins after seeing the…read moredoctor's work on social media and reading positive Google reviews. What I expected to be a routine cosmetic procedure unfortunately resulted in a much more difficult outcome for me (photos attached). Shortly after the treatment, leaky blisters formed, and about a week later they developed into scabs on the treated areas. When the scabs eventually came off, many areas appeared indented and concerning. During virtual follow-up consultations, I was told the healing process appeared to be normal. However, my skin continued to worsen, and I later sought care at an emergency room, where the injuries were documented as burns and I was referred for dermatologic follow-up. Avalon Laser offered additional treatment options, including a CO laser session or microneedling at their facility, and also suggested that I see a dermatologist in the Los Angeles area. I did undergo one CO laser session with Avalon Laser, but I ultimately decided not to continue treatment at the clinic because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding there. To their credit, the clinic checked in with me virtually on a regular basis and offered encouragement during the healing process. However, my recovery has been much longer and more challenging than I expected based on how my skin appeared. Since then, I have consulted with several specialists and undergone multiple treatments in an effort to improve my skin. The recovery process has been lengthy, painful, and uncertain. The clinic refunded the cost of the original treatment, which I appreciated, but it has not come close to covering the many additional medical visits, treatments, medications, and skincare products I have needed since then. The emotional impact has also been very difficult. For weeks I struggled to sleep and often cried at night. I became withdrawn and stopped seeing friends because I felt embarrassed about my appearance. What began as a simple cosmetic procedure has turned into a long and ongoing recovery. I attempted to pursue compensation through legal counsel and sent a demand letter, but I did not receive a response. I also followed up by email without success. I am sharing my personal experience so that others can be aware and carefully consider their options before undergoing treatment. NOTING Aesthetically Pleasing about this place!!!…read more I had 3 BBL Laser treatments at this Med Spa performed by NP Sydney. My skin is rosacea prone so BBL when done correctly is very helpful. Unfortunately during the first treatment my face was burned and I ended up with deep purple bruises and blisters. I had to stay home for a week until the blisters subsided. My face became more red than before the treatment. I was told that the next two sessions would give me the expected results, but they did not. My face became very sensitive and the redness didn't go away. I noticed deeper broken capillaries in the areas where I was burned. When I expressed my concerns Sydney simply shook her head and said: "there is always a risk". My risk was in her hands. Her job was to assess my skin type, select the appropriate filters and correctly adjust the laser's energy setting, but she is either inexperienced or incapable. After contacting Sydney again I got a call from the owner, Stacy Grissen and she set up an appointment for me to come to see her the fallowing week.The day of the appointment Stacy called me and with an aggressive tone of voice informed me that she was cancelling our meeting, (BTW if I cancelled an appointment the same day they would charge a fee). She said that I snapped my fingers in front of Sydney's face, which is a complete lie... and btw why wait a week to cancel an appointment? I guess she decided to be offensive rather than being concerned that her employee did damage to my face.The way she treated me is inappropriate and dishonest. I am writing this to warn anyone who is thinking of using this business : go there at your own peril. There is no place for a business like this in our beautiful community of Encinitas.

I had such a great experience at Studio Med Spa thanks to Maritza! I went in for a consultation and she was incredibly patient and kind the entire time. I have a pretty big fear of needles, and she made me feel so comfortable and never rushed me or made me feel silly for asking a lot of questions. She took the time to explain everything clearly, walked me through the process, and made sure I understood all of my options. What I appreciated most was how calm and reassuring she was. It really helped ease my nerves, and I left the consultation feeling much more confident and informed. I've had a great experience at the Med Spa since starting my Semaglutide injections. The staff is friendly, and the service has been smooth from the beginning. My initial consultation was thorough and allowed me to ask plenty of questions, which helped me feel confident in my decision. I really appreciated that there was no pressure or sales tactics involved. The injections have been highly effective over the past eight weeks. The only thing I wish I'd considered earlier is asking more about nutrition guidance while on the treatment. This place is a total scam--they hide their fees and even charge your card without telling you. The staff has a terrible attitude and acts really unprofessional. I have been a customer for years, have had several sessions and have always had a great experience. The nurses are super nice (especially Krysten!!), the clinic is very clean & the results are worth your money. Usually I have nothing bad to say, except I tried to call them through phone to reschedule my appointment in which I spoke with Nicole at this Escondido location who came off very rude, sarcastic and standoffish. I usually have a full body session in which it came to my attention that they are no longer allowed to do this. Usually I do up upper body and then they let the machine cool down for a bit and then do lower. If this is an issue then I don't understand why my last 6 sessions has been scheduled like this. I totally understand Nicole if you can't do this, and I don't want you to get in trouble but the customer service and sarcasm is completely unprofessional and makes me not want to come back as a loyal customer.
