From the moment I met her, she made me feel so comfortable and completely taken care of. I have seen her for Dysport and RF Microneedling (twice). She explains everything clearly, answers every question, gives you clear written after care instructions and you can just tell she genuinely cares about her patients and their results. What I appreciate most is how much she prioritizes safety. I've had to rebook appointments more than once, because I still had remnants of spray tan on my face and another time because of my tretinoin use. At the time it felt like a bummer, but it showed me how much she truly puts her patients first and will never cut corners. That level of integrity is rare and so appreciated. I trust her completely with my skin, I love my results afterwards and just highly recommend Katie. I also want to add an additional note about the sweet girls who also do my check-in/out. What I expected to be a routine cosmetic procedure unfortunately resulted in a much more difficult outcome for me (photos attached). Shortly after the treatment, leaky blisters formed, and about a week later they developed into scabs on the treated areas. When the scabs eventually came off, many areas appeared indented and concerning. During virtual follow-up consultations, I was told the healing process appeared to be normal. However, my skin continued to worsen, and I later sought care at an emergency room, where the injuries were documented as burns and I was referred for dermatologic follow-up. Avalon Laser offered additional treatment options, including a CO laser session or microneedling at their facility, and also suggested that I see a dermatologist in the Los Angeles area. I did undergo one CO laser session with Avalon Laser, but I ultimately decided not to continue treatment at the clinic because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding there. To their credit, the clinic checked in with me virtually on a regular basis and offered encouragement during the healing process. However, my recovery has been much longer and more challenging than I expected based on how my skin appeared. Since then, I have consulted with several specialists and undergone multiple treatments in an effort to improve my skin. The recovery process has been lengthy, painful, and uncertain. The clinic refunded the cost of the original treatment, which I appreciated, but it has not come close to covering the many additional medical visits, treatments, medications, and skincare products I have needed since then. The emotional impact has also been very difficult. For weeks I struggled to sleep and often cried at night. I became withdrawn and stopped seeing friends because I felt embarrassed about my appearance. What began as a simple cosmetic procedure has turned into a long and ongoing recovery. I attempted to pursue compensation through legal counsel and sent a demand letter, but I did not receive a response. I also followed up by email without success. I am sharing my personal experience so that others can be aware and carefully consider their options before undergoing treatment. Pros: The two nurses I had throughout my treatments (Karen and Elena) were absolutely incredible. They were kind, professional, and always made me feel comfortable. Their attention to detail and overall demeanor made it clear they genuinely care about their clients and love what they do. I honestly have nothing but praise for them. Cons: The front desk staff on the other hand are extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. I've had multiple negative experiences with them, but the worst involved a blonde front desk employee who completely lacked empathy and professionalism. After one of my appointments was rescheduled due to a broken machine (which I was understanding about), I showed up to the new date only to be told the machine still wasn't working. I waited 25 minutes before the blonde employee approached me with a dismissive attitude, asking if I wanted to reschedule, no apology, no concern, just completely nonchalant. I explained that I couldn't push my appointment AGAIN because laser hair removal works on a strict timing schedule and they had already delayed me a week. She didn't seem to care at all and didn't even offer to make up for the inconvenience, despite me having driven 45 minutes to be there. I ended up waiting an extra hour before they finally got the machine working. Again shoutout to the nurse Elena who treated me that day, because she was the only one who made the experience bearable. The final issue that pushed me to write this review was when I purchased a Groupon for additional sessions. Nowhere on the Groupon page did it say it was only for new customers, yet I was told I couldn't use it because I had been there before. The front desk employee asked me to send her a screenshot so she could check with her manager. Eventually, she got back to me saying they couldn't honor the Groupon, but that they could "match the price" if I purchased directly through them and they'd reach out to Groupon on my behalf for a refund. I agreed to that, asked a few follow up questions... and then received zero response. Days went by with no update. I had to personally go through Groupon and deal with the refund process myself, even though they specifically told me they'd handle it. It's frustrating and disappointing. The front desk staff come across as disorganized, uncaring, and in my honest opinion incompetent. I hate to say that, but it's been a repeated issue. If this place didn't have such amazing nurses, I would've stopped coming a long time ago. Unfortunately I no longer will be continuing my treatments here.

I started keeping a cancellation list in my phone because of this. It's well over 15 in the last year alone. You can often also expect to wait 15-20 minutes on a good day just for her to get started. There were several times I would sit there waiting for my appointment to start. Several times she would stop working on me and text other clients to cancel them because she was so behind with me that she had to make up a lie to cancel the next poor client. She told me several times that I was "too big. And needed to lose weight." She also would tell me stories about other clients and her paranoia about someone trying to steal her job is next level. She is so paranoid about other electrolysis providers paying people to "study her work" and steal her job. She's sent me emails outside of work randomly being paranoid that I would report her to Kaiser. She also has gotten so unprofessional with me over texting and told me she sent me to LA for a hair check with my surgeons just for me to "get a reality check." Do yourself a favor and don't go With Fara.
