Very nice wine bar with excellent service good selection and smart elegant space. We enjoyed our glasses of wine. The server asked us what we were looking to experience and then parred a great rose with what we said our taste buds liked. Spot on and we had a romantic time in their space. Nice job!

We LOVE the Stowaway Wine Bar. Their Figgy flatbread and burrata with pesto are our favorites. We stop here at least once every time we visit Seabrook!

Lovely find on the Washington coast with great atmosphere and wine choices. If I lived nearby I would join the Admirals club.

Great wine bar! Our hostess was fabulous! Super friendly, informative, professional. Fantastic wine selection! I tried the sparkling rose on tap which was excellent. Our hostess recommended a similar one I could get in a bottle, can't wait to try it!! Best experience in Seabrook!

What a great wine bar in Seabrook! They had 2 wine flights available when we went. Sparkling Wine or Rose Wine flights. We went with the Sparkling Wine. We sampled 3 different wines and they were so good. Jen was our server and she was FABULOUS! She took time to tell us about the 3 wine selections and the winery they each came from. We shared the brie plate and split a salad. When our salad came out Jen immediately took it from our food runner as she noticed an ingredient on it that we asked to be omitted and had it remade. The atmosphere is so very relaxing and comfortable. They offer a huge selection of wines that can be purchased and taken home. I can honestly say this will be a regular stop for me when visiting Seabrook. A+ service, food and atmosphere!

Greenwing Cab Sauv recommendation from The Stowaway staff. I would highly recommend purchasing a bottle!

Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just enjoy a glass of wine on a nice day (or heck even a rainy one), The Stowaway Wine Bar is a must stop in Seabrook. Family owned and operated the staff are knowledgeable and happy to make suggestions and recommendations and introduce customers to some fantastic wines. They are very personable, check in regularly to make sure you're taken care of, and will strike up conversation about wine, the area, etc. The patio seating is perfect for sunny or partly cloudy days and they have indoor, covid safe seating as well for more rainy days. Pop in and ask for the staff for their recommendations; you won't be disappointed!

Looking for a place to get a little upscale wine and tapas while at the beach. The Stowaway didn't disappoint! We got a charcuterie plate (3 cheeses, 3 meats, almonds, grapes, apricots, olives, pickles, bread, breadsticks) for $27. A steal in my book. You could customize the plate with different cheeses and meats. We picked: drunken goat cheese, port salut, and cambozola for cheeses; pate de campagne, salami, and serrano for meats. Serious plate of tapas! Touristy town. We grabbed a seat at the bar looking out onto the street and people-watched.

Fun tasting room in the cute town of Seabrook. Tasting room owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped in for the "bubbles" tasting, which was wonderful. Will definitely be visiting again.

Estrella's Cheese can be found at Beecher's Handmade Cheese, DeLaurenti, Whole Foods, Madison Market and The Cheese Cellar. My fiance' and I had signed up with a tour group sponsored by The Edgewater Hotel. We met at the Hotel around 8:00am and joined an intimate group of 6 which included a couple visiting Seattle, a father and son duo, the Chef and our Tour Guide. The tour provided transportation and a boxed lunch courtesy of the Chef. The ride down to the Creamery would average around 45 minutes to an hour so Chef supplied a well planned out game which he tested our knowledge on cheese and congratulated the winning team with Max McCalman & David Gibbons book "A Connoisseur's Guide to the Worlds Best Cheese". We didn't win. :( boo. lol Arriving around 9:30am, we were greeted by the entire Estrella Family. Kelli led the tour which took us through their entire operation to how they raise and milk their cows and goats and the cheese cellar where we got a chance to see more than a decade of cheeses. After the tour of the farm, Kelli brought us into the factory. Sanitized, capped and booties on, we were ready to make some cheese! It was so much fun! Having the chance to be a part of the process was amazing! After cleaning up, we headed outside where Kelli surprised us with wine and a table spread of cheeses. It was so fresh! I have never tasted cheese with so much flavor and definition. You could taste the freshness of the farm and the care they take in the process. At the end of the tour, we made sure to bring home a bag of this organic goodness and not to mention, made some great new friends. What a great day! :)

As a flight attendant and an unapologetic foodie, I've eaten my way through cities all over the world. You learn pretty quickly when a restaurant is simply serving food versus when it's serving something made with genuine care. This place falls firmly into the second category. The customer service? Just the sweet Rainier cherry on top of an already incredible experience (and yes... go look at their bakery case while you're there). Jocelyn was phenomenal. I asked how this little slice of heaven came to be, and she happily shared the story behind it. One owner spent years as an executive chef at a casino, while the other built a career as a professional baker in Aberdeen. Boy, does that expertise show. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. A little context: I mostly eat pescatarian these days, so when I do splurge on chicken, my expectations are sky high. I've built it up in my head as one of the foods I miss most (right alongside a good ribeye), and it's almost always disappointing. Not this time. This chicken is absolutely ridiculous. They debone a chicken thigh and fry it into the crispiest, juiciest piece of fried chicken I've had in a long time. It's made with a gluten-free batter, which means more people get to enjoy it. And before anyone assumes "gluten-free" means sacrificing flavor... think again. Plenty of great chefs will tell you the best fried coatings come from starches like potato or cornstarch anyway. What really made this meal special, though, was that my partner is vegan. If you've ever dined out with someone who's vegan while you aren't, you know how rare it is for both people to walk away feeling like they had an equally great meal. It almost never happens. Here, it did. She ordered the vegan Indian tacos with corn tortillas, and they looked incredible. She was excited to try the fry bread, and instead of simply serving it, the staff thoughtfully explained it wasn't vegan and helped her choose an alternative. That's the kind of attention to detail you don't forget. Our service was perfectly paced. If you're looking for food in five minutes, there are plenty of places where "cooking" means microwaving something that arrived frozen. This isn't one of those places. Everything tastes intentional, and that takes time. Our food still arrived in under 20 minutes, maybe even less. Slow down, talk to the people you're with, and enjoy the experience. Great food isn't supposed to feel rushed. We stumbled across this gem on our drive home from Ocean Shores, and I'm so glad we did. I only wish it were closer to home because we'd become regulars in a heartbeat. I can't recommend this place enough.

The San…read moreFrancisco Bay Area, where I live, is known for its artisan cheese makers and I LOVE CHEESE, so my family and I made a stop at the Jacobs Creamery stand just to get a little sample and make some comparisons. I am about to make a bold statement here...Jacobs Creamery sells some of the BEST cheeses I have ever eaten. The Ricotta cheese: I have heard that premium ricotta tastes unlike anything you purchase in the store. Now, I've had "premium" ricotta and quite frankly, didn't get the big deal. After eating Jacobs Creamery ricotta...I can NEVER go back to any other. I could literally BATHE in the stuff. It is creamy, with just the right balance of salt and sweetness. I brought some home and have been eating it alone by the spoonfuls. Blue cheese: I have been pretty spoiled by the artisan blue cheeses sold in our area and once again, I was blown away by the deliciousness of JC's blue cheese. It had the right amount of tang and creaminess. Cheddar cheese: I do not like cheddar cheese. No matter how "artisan" they are, I find cheddar cheese abominable. So when Lisa offered some to me, I took the sample just to be polite. OH MY GOSH! I have NEVER had a cheddar cheese that was so yummy, creamy with just the right amount of tang. I bought a little block and plowed through it in 2 days. Lastly...Lisa Jacobs is an absolute sweetheart; warm and gracious. She took her time explaining how she makes her cheeses and even recommended that we visit a local store that sells the salt that she uses to make her cheese.

The women didn't hear her and went on about how she can't understand her, because she was mumbling so badly. My daughter is super shy. I should have walked away, because she was so snippety to my daughter, but went ahead and bought their overpriced cheese anyway. When I got home, I ate their cheddar cheese and there was something on it that tasted spicy and burned my lips - it actually made my lips chapped over the next week. I sent a polite email to them to give feedback and asked them what was on the cheddar. I was concerned it was some sort of chemical. It has been over 10 days and they haven't responded. I guess they don't care about their customers. I don't recommend doing business with them.
