There are seats at the bar, inside and an outdoor area outside. Rainy weather kept me inside. I had the saison and the artichoke dip. There are other food items available such as mixed nuts, or olives and paninis and more. Everything prepared by the server id assume. Probably have a food prep person when it gets busy. Terrible service only one person for service food and wine estey away from this place.

A cozy wonderful place with the worst service ever. Only one person working during 4th of July weekend. An ongoing issue in this place. We were there two weeks ago and the same issue. Thank God we were the only ones there at that time after being turned away from Oyhut Bay Grill which is another disaster with service. The new owners need to pay attention to this as they are loosing locals as well as people interested in investing in Oyhut. read more

The menu is limited; great for Italian style light fare. A warm meatball sandwich would be a suggestion. Or very Italian - a tuna or salmon fish sandwich on sourdough. Wine selections generous. A nice new wine bar in Oyhut Bay. Ocean Shores is pretty much surrounded by dive bars and food stands, which are fun - but sometimes you want to go somewhere a bit more sophisticated. Corks and Taps definitely fills that gap. The place is cute inside - some high bar seating, some four tops - some couches. They did table service and one person managed to cover the whole place which was relatively full - he was efficient and impressive. We each had a flight of wine - one from Washington and one from Argentina. All the wines were interesting, with depth - yet the bottles were relatively affordable. We didn't have food as we had just eaten - but it looked delicious! Can't wait to go again. read more

Just got back from Corks and Taps July 6th Sunday the worst service I have received...brought my Father in Law who is looking to buy a summer home at Ohyhut....Went to Corks and Taps for lunch before we start looking for a home...The service was so bad they couldn't even serve us lunch she was too busy..we had drinks and left with a bad taste...Father in Law said there is no way he would buy a home there...that's how bad the service was... So disappointed that we will never come back. read more

Great little wine bar. We came for the food and were pleasantly surprised. We each got a drink (wine, cider, and beer) and the server brought a nicely chilled bottle of water to the table. Good ambiance. We ordered a pretzel (enormous!), caprese salad, and flatbread (apple and prosciutto). All three were delicious. If I had to nitpick I'd say add a little stoneground mustard to the already delicious cheese sauce for the pretzel, and the caprese was heavy on arugula, light on basil. That said, best soft pretzel I've ever had. Everything was top notch and we will be back. read more

Great taproom there is a nice little patio are out back. The manager was super engaging and pleasant definitely knew his stuff. There is a great selection of wine, beer and hard cider. I got a bubbly flight and a couple of glasses of a great rose. The hubs got a few different ciders and we ordered the hot pretzel it was great warm started to harden as it cooled. Stopped by here on the way to the beach. A cool, laid back 21+ over and dog friendly (on the back patio that was fenced in). Reasonably priced with local beer. We didn't try the food, but menu looked like great snack food for drinks. The server was was really nice and she was very welcoming. Would stop by again! read more

Corks and Taps is our go-to when in Ocean Shores. The "small plates" are substantial enough to fill you up. The food is made from scratch and they rotate many items as they come up with creative new dishes. Like the grill down the street, they are exceptionally accommodating for gluten free folks - the GF flatbreads are so delicious! The garlic cheesecake and caprese salad are favorites too. The wine is exceptional. The manager does an incredible job of sourcing unique wines and always has something new for us to try. The beer selections rotate too. The team behind the bar is so kind and hospitable and make this a fun, cozy spot to split a bottle with your people while visiting the beach. They draw a lot of locals too. Love this place. Ambiance and service are top notch. Huge selection of wine and they serve beer also. Charcuterie board and bruschetta are both excellent. My favorite is the enormous soft but crispy pretzel. We had house made quiche the other day that was amazing. There are games available so we played a round of cribbage while having a drink and food. Service was solid -- bartender was pleasant and had good explanations for everything. Place is stylish and somewhere easy to hang out. I enjoyed the vibe. My complaint is that there aren't any good options for non-drinkers who want something warm on literally a day where it was a monsoon of cold rain outside. I was hoping I could get basic drip coffee and was told no. I asked if I could go to the market and sneak in a hot coffee and was told no. I was offered a basic tea or a straight espresso shot. I was told to go to the grill if I wanted a warm alcoholic drink. I was offered warm food, but we had just come from lunch. This just seems crazy in Washington -- where we have cold rainy days. Would love to have been offered a warm mulled wine (could have added to the ambiance) or simple drip coffee. Hopeful that the next time I go back, this has been fixed. Please consider adding some warm beverage offerings with bigger appeal. read more

A comforting place as you walk in. It smells good, we were greeted heartedly and took a table for an excellent experience. Everything we ordered was prepared with love just for us. Nothing pre fab here. The quiche was excellent. The flavors and textures were dazzling. We took a charcuterie board to go and we're very happy with it later in the evening. The service was personal. Was super excited to try this place in celebration of my daughter's 21st birthday, but our party of 4 were asked to leave because my daughter's VALID, not expired WASHINGTON drivers license was denied due to it being "vertical". My wife and I have been to Corks and Taps multiple times and the experience seems to get better each time. We live here in Ocean Shores and quite often avoid the Oyhut tourist area during the peak tourist season. This is an exception, because it's that good! Devin is your host during this experience, he is attentive and pleasant, but leaves you alone to enjoy the company of those at your table. This is becoming a rarity in food and beverage service, finding the perfect balance. Devin has it down to a science. In our most recent visit we had a nice chilled bottle of Chardonnay which is served with a chilled marble wine sleeve to help keep it at a nice temperature. We started with a Goat Cheese And Greens salad, which is delicious and just right for two. We followed with the Jennie's Flatbread and it was amazing! The flatbread was baked perfectly and the toppings consisted of olive oil, roasted garlic, pepperjack, cranberry stilton, salami, capicolla, prosciutto, fresh basil, and balsamic reduction drizzle. It was just the perfect shareable dish. The atmosphere was relaxing with the beautiful decor, comfortable seating choices and great music at just the right level, which you can hear clearly, but doesn't hamper conversation. Spending time with friends and loved ones is a treat here. I highly recommend this establishment!! read more

My cousin and I visited the newish Corks and Taps, our server was great and the wine choices were pretty impressive. We ordered two types of wine, both delicious her a white, me a red Cabernet. We then ordered a flat bread and the Green house made hummus. We really enjoyed the two items immensely. I am hopeful that Ocean Shores will continue to grow its finer dining/appetizer fares.
