My ultrasound. I was maybe 4 weeks

I've went here before with my first pregnancy and I didn't have too many issues and that was two years ago. However I came in for my second pregnancy just about a week ago, extremely excited for my second pregnancy. I thought I was roughly 6 weeks so I just wanted to basically confirm the pregnancy via ultrasound and so the only way to do that is to go to the stork's nest. When I got in there, I did tell her that I was super early And I just want to see how far along I am. typically if you're early along like I thought I was around six weeks, if you can't see anything on an abdominal ultrasound, The ultrasound tech will then do a vaginal one. She didn't do a vaginal one either with my first pregnancy and then again now she's not doing it and I should've asked why but I was just hoping to not cause any trouble. So With the abdominal ultrasound we were able to see a gestational sack and I was too early along to see anything else. Except this is the part that really ticked me off, she was very insistent on saying that she thinks that I need to watch out for an ectopic Pregnancy and then I might have a miscarriage, and then she went on to say that I need to also look out for it being an empty sack. And I do understand she wanted me to watch out for these things, but she rubbed me the Wrong way because she wasn't nice about it really at all. And so I contacted my doctor and also talk to about 150 other moms in my moms group on Facebook. My doc stated that my ultrasound looks very normal for how early am And then my blood test came back to me being roughly around four weeks. So at the time of the ultrasound it makes complete sense that my gestational sack would be just to sack and not an egg yolk yet formed in the inside. So I also talked to 150 Women on my Facebook group &I got about 180 comments of other women's ultrasounds that looked exactly like mine and they went on to have a very healthy baby. There was only 3 other mothers that ended up having an ectopic pregnancy and their doctors all told them that there would not be a gestational sack in the uterus if they were having a ectopic pregnancy. Then I had about 15 to 20 ultrasound techs that actually work at a doctors office, tell me the exact same thing on how there would not be a gestational sack in the uterus, if I had an ectopic pregnancy. So of course this made me very confused so I called Yvonne back at the stork's nest, and I let her know that I wasn't having an ectopic pregnancy According to the ultrasound because of what I've listed above and I also told her that my doctor said it looks completely normal and that I shouldn't be worried about that right now especially that I don't have any pain. And she started arguing with me, saying on how that you can have an ectopic pregnancy with a gestational sack in the uterus. And honestly I wouldn't be so upset, but then she said even if you're not having an ectopic, then I still could just have an empty sack and that I would end up miscarrying. So I can't really describe her tone and how she was talking to me,but all I can say is that she was extremely rude and very oddly Insistent on telling me that something, no matter what it ended up being, that something was going to go wrong in my pregnancy. And I'm still pissed off at the fact that she didn't offer to do a vaginal ultrasound? Because once I talked to about 150 other moms, and to my friend that just went to the stork's nest a couple days before me, they all got vaginal ultrasound when they were that early or didn't know exactly how far along they were. So I just feel completely ripped off of $50 because she didn't give a shit about anything & didn't even do her job correctly. My appointment lasted 8 minutes- suppose to be 15-30. So I will never go back to the stork's nest again. it should be a place that you feel welcome and even if she does think that it's an empty sack she wouldn't keep bringing it up like she is so dead set on 'yes you're not gonna have a baby.' She could simply say that I need to wait a little bit longer to see if the fetus and yolk sac would form first (around 5 weeks and I was only 4) but she could've said it in a nicer manner. So maybe two years ago I would've maybe recommended this place even though I really wasn't treated that well that time either, but now after this year I would never recommend this place to anybody.

This place is great. Yvonne Wam is about as sweet as they get. Before arriving, I was a little uneasy considering there were no reviews online, but as soon as I met this woman, I knew I was in good hands. She is extremely capable and experienced with ultrasound, took her time at our appointment, and was warm and excited for us during our gender reveal at 15 weeks. They had clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making the office comfortable for their clients. I will definitely go back if I am blessed with more pregnancies.
