I run a local business in Charlotte.  As many other business owners know, climate and seasonal…read moreweather changes can really effect your business.  The majority of our seating is outside making our front patio a popular hang out.  As winters have become warmer and wetter and summers have become hotter and dryer business has slowed down.  Michael Fowler, director of business development at Wellspring Outdoor Solutions, approached me about covering our front patio with one of their aluminum pergola systems.  We loved the idea but were hesitant due to a rare zoning issue the city of Charlotte cursed us with.   Michael and the Wellspring team went above and beyond to make sure that our future patio covering would pass permitting in Mecklenburg County.  They had a specialist come out and observe the patio area and had architects redraw the pergola system to meet zoning standards.  Once our covering had passed permitting it took two days to build the structure.  They closed down a small area  out front, made sure that we stayed open, and that business went on as normal.  We passed inspection with flying colors.  They made the entire process painless for us.  They took care of every little detail the entire step of the way.  We now have a beautiful covered patio that our customers love and can enjoy during any and all weather.  I highly recommend Wellspring Outdoor Solutions for a professional and painless investment into to the future of your business.

My husband is an architect and designed our project which included cantilevered steps on all three structures. We first met with our sales rep, Mike Luick, and he was very nice & had a really good understanding of the complexity involved in building the structures. He stated he would have "Archadeck's best carpenter" work on our project and there is no doubt that we definitely received the best. Colby Parks and his dad, Gene, were phenomenal to work alongside and set the bar high for any other carpenter or any type of contractor we ever encounter. Colby is a master carpenter - he is highly skilled, smart, an excellent communicator & problem solver and takes great pride in every single detail. Colby & Gene kept a meticulously clean jobsite and even put plastic under their truck to be sure oil didn't leak on our driveway - these are the little things that are a big deal. Ultimately, they cared just as much about the final product as we did - as if it were their own. We did encounter issues with the stain crew on our rear deck, but without going into all of the details, I'll just say that between Mike Luick and the stain crew supervisor, Ismael, they did whatever it took to make things right & to make sure we were completely satisfied. In the end we love our new porches and rear deck. Here are our Pros and Cons: PROS: 1. Colby Parks and Gene Parks 2. Archadeck did whatever we requested to fix any and all issues we encountered with the staining to make sure we were completely satisfied. 3. Mike Luick is great to work with and very professional - nice guy. 4. Ismael - I'm sure he's always "putting out fires", but he keeps things very professional & is always friendly. 5. Warranty CONS: 1. Expensive - Archadeck should only use Premium lumber on their projects, especially for the price we paid. 2. Stain crew - did not take pride in their work, were in a rush to get it done and always left trash or debris in our yard.

However, I think our deck needs to be closer attention to the final product how the customer will feel about it on down the road.. In my case, they were quick about putting it up but the carpentry I would give a 6/10. The electrical I would give a. 2/10. Why do you choose hard to dick or anyone else? One big thing is after the carpentry is done and before the windows are installed it needs to be stained or painted as to the final color prior to windows being installed. They don't really stress that I think they just wanted the job done quickly.. I'm glad it's done, but it could've been better quality product and workmanship all the way around

They even called two days prior to appointment to confirm the visit. I scheduled my day around this appointment, including traveling from out of town to meet them, and they called 1.5 hours before the appointment time to say they would not be coming due to the distance. So, even if they confirm everything with you, don't count on them doing what they say they will do.

That should have been our first sign to go elsewhere. When they did come everything was blue! The frame and all. we just said we wanted a blue door. We even had a conversation with the salesman about painting the door a different color. The frame and everything was supposed to be white and only a blue door Our fault for not checking the salesmans paperwork. The guys who installed it were friendly enough and went and got white molding so it matched the inside of our house however they put a hole in the wall and when they went to caulk it it was awful. my cat could have done a better job. I called the supervisor (Dennis) before they left and said this was unacceptable. He showed up at our house within the hour and said he would come back next week and fix it but we needed to sign the papers for the finance company. Sketchy. We did not sign as the paperwork said only sign when satisfied. The supervisor came back the following week and did fix the caulk but the screen door is crooked. you ca. even see light coming through so I text him (to have it in writing) and showed him a picture the whole point of the screen door is so you can have it open but now ants and bugs can get in. Thats was Sept 29. I heard back from him two weeks later saying everyone was sick and asked if we could fix it. I said no it's crooked. Have not heard a single word since. For $14,000 I would expect a door that is on properly and communication from the company. To say the least we will be going with another company for the windows.
