Now, I am writing review again because no updates or communication about next steps from them (and it's same thing everytime). I read all recent reviews (some of them very precise about delays). I just want to warn you guys who might get fooled by marketing tactics of American Dream Home Remodeling. I gave them one home improvement project last year. Please note, not to give them any money until they start actual work (or I would say until they finish work). If that's not possible, make sure you add clause for completion timeline and penalty for not delivering on time. Below are the timelines. - June-2025: Signed project - Dec-2025: started initial permit process - Jan-14--2026: started footer work, inspection was also done in next 2-3 days but then work stopped due to winter storm (which lasted just(10-15 days). Since then, all debris (you will see in photos) were in my patio for 2 months - Mar-6-2026: Filled footer with concrete - Mar-12-2026: I had to move debris to side of my house as I was expecting guest. - Mar-27-2026: scheduled 2nd inspection round with county but no one showed up and no updates since then. - Apr-04-2016: Finally debris were cleaned. Now I am waiting and waiting. No updates. There customer rep. always say one line "I will pass your message to the team" and after that no updates. It's been over 11 months now and I am still waiting to start building actual project. Initially visits were very good where they shown deep interest working with me and made impression that they are best in business (like saying top quality material, experienced contractors, etc.), but now I don't know when it will start and finish. EJ (CSO), Ryan (CMO): I am fed up with false promises. My main issue is you guys are not communicating and even communicate, you guys don't stick to your commitments. I had to reach out multiple times. My Son's birthday is in October and I am wondering if project is even going to start until then. I want my money back. Biggest regret of my life to go with ADHR. Local contractors are much faster and accountable. Since I gave this project, 3 other contractor's finished some other projects and this guys just did footer concrete. Also messed-up my backyard patio. Cracks at 2-3 places, dirt sports because of debris lying for 2 months.

David was very responsive throughout the entire process and sought to meet every need my wife and I had. Even when that meant switching the direction of the front siding due to our preference. The finished product speaks for itself and the savings allowed us to install all new gutters with gutter guards which really make a difference. Not only that, they had found a tub that would fit in our space that we did not find before. They were clear about the workflow, responsibilities, and accountability. They were fair on price considering the risk they were taking doing work after someone else. I don't feel they marked it up to account for that risk. As the work began, we found more issues. They came up with solutions promptly, again transparently and timely. They sent pictures as they did work, and justified any proposals for change. We ended up with the bathroom we wanted and assurance that the work was done right. The whole team is no nonsense, fair, and honest. The new vendor reported Mighty Men to Progress for their poor work and unsafe practices.

I would not recommend working with TruBlue…read more We hired them to build a single wall, install French doors, and move a light switch. At first, our experience was great. Wendy, the general contractor, was prompt in communication, provided a detailed quote, and scheduled the project quickly. However, once work began, it went downhill. Their crew was supposed to start work Monday morning. They texted Sunday night and said someone called out and asked if they could start Tuesday. No problem, things happen. I was in a meeting Monday afternoon and got a call from them asking if they could come right then. I had to rearrange the rest of my day to accommodate them but did. They showed up and only stayed for two hours. They asked if they could start at 8 am each day and we said yes, they could come as early as they would like. They did not show up at 8 am on any day, but rather closer to 10 am. The project was supposed to take at most, 4 days. Instead, it took 8. They blamed this on us, for making changes throughout the project. However, those changes were minor (like changing our minds on the door knobs for the French doors, and providing new ones, before they had even installed them) and I explicitly asked if any of those changes were going to hold up the process. They said no. They initially built the wall and it was crooked. We asked them to fix it and they tried, but it was still very warped. The mud was applied unevenly and not sanded well. They applied paint anyway. We had to ask them to redo this. They did and the wall is now straight, but the mud and paint overtop are still uneven. They installed trim poorly and unevenly, leaving rough edges and gaps. They did not patch the holes that the nail gun left or paint the trim. We are now stuck doing this. They moved the electrical switch to the incorrect place on the wall, despite me marking exactly where we wanted it and confirming placement with them in-person beforehand. Now it's too late to fix that. They didn't lay proper protection down on our floors and they were coated in white from dust and splattered paint. They said not to worry and they would scrub them. They didn't. We are left trying to remove debris from the hardwood floor cracks that is proving difficult to get fully clean. Most importantly, they re-wired the electrical incorrectly. Our switches don't work properly, or at all sometimes. We've gotten several quotes from other electrical contractors and they've all agreed -- This was a botched job. We are now looking at spending $4,000 to fix their mistakes. After all of this, we just wanted Wendy and her team out of our home so we wrote them a check to be done with it. Wendy never followed up on the quality issue updates. With us, after initial consult, their team's communication was poor and the quality of work/craftsmanship was very much lacking.
