A couple of disclaimers to start as my review could be tainted by outside influences: 1. We were part of a large group that had a reservation for the patio. 2. I was not in charge of making the arrangements so don't know for sure who dropped the ball. Review: Appears to be extremely popular place. Very loud and not a great group place if you want to talk. The singer at 6:30 was on but not great. She tried. The act that came on at 8pm was much better. We had patio seating once we finalized got seated. We had 6:30 reservations for a group of 20. We were seated roughly at 7pm with seating for roughly 14 at best plus our group ballooned which increased the confusion and chaos. Part of the group ended up leaving and going else where that allowed everyone to get a seat. Mixed group of kids (under 21) and parents so the alcohol wasn't going to be consumed other that maybe a couple of parents. Most of us had water or tea so the wait staff were not very interested. They did bring us large carafes of water so we could refill our own glasses. Staff finally took our food order and by 8pm most of us had our food. My son and I both had burgers which were good but nothing above average. I had a side salad that fresh and the house dressing was tasty and he had the Mac and cheese and it was good. The place went from loud to extremely loud by 8:45pm and we left as we were not able to talk. Probably not the best choice of restaurants for our mixed group. read more

We'd passed on this place for awhile since generally when we go out our kids are with us, but we found ourselves looking for lunch on a weekday when the kids were out of school so we gave it a try. It was perfect patio weather, we were seated quickly and our server was so friendly. The menu had quite a few good options -- we went for salads, the kids had burgers, and everyone was happy. We stopped in again for a weekend lunch, we'll have to remember they have brunch options. Not sure if they always have someone playing music, but there was both times we were there and it made for a fun lunch. read more

Been there several times most recently a Friday night, packed house few birthday celebrations around more than enough room to accommodate large parties. Cute little dance floor with great bands. The energy was great on this Friday night and we all had a great time. For me I think it's a great spot to Take Out of Towners that want to experience a little live country music. read more

TL;DR: go here if you want to dance, or if you're deaf and want to try to hear live music. The menu looked amazing, so we decided to meet our family here. We didn't know this was a live music venue. We asked to be seated outside in the hopes the volume wouldn't be so overpowering there, unfortunately that wasn't the case. Our server was attentive, but you had to shout to be heard and we couldn't carry on a conversation due to the noise level. Popped in for a quick weekday bite. The country/Nashville theme wasn't too overwhelming (although they did have live music on a Friday at lunchtime which seemed a bit loud for the vibe). Sat at the bar and ordered the Nashville chicken tenders which were nice and the accompanying portion of fries was HUGE. Want even more? Tell them to sub the cole slaw (yuck!) and they'll pile more fries on. #DietStartsMonday Large selection of draft beers and wine. Service was pleasant and efficient. This our fist time here and it was mainly to see Kaylee Rose. The place is nice and gives western but also Nashville vibes. They were busy that night but our server made sure we knew she knew we were there and got us our drinks and stayed attentive and with a smile even though she was busy. Kailah made sure our visit was one to remember. The drinks she recommended were delicious and the food was great too. She conversed with us multiple times and made us feel like a regulars. I highly recommend Kailah and I hope her leadership team know what an asset they have in her. We had the white queso and ships for an appetizer and then the Sonora burger for dinner and it was good. The Stillery has been on my list for months and was so excited when we decided to stop by for lunch and check it out. I was pleased to find parking easy and service great the second we walked in the door. We were seated right away, drink order taken and given a few moments to look over the menu. Things I noticed instantly were how large the location is. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, their is a stage for live music as well as a full bar. It's definitely a country vibe, but really I could see it fun for most. The menu is small, but had some good options. If you're s health person this might not be for you since there isn't much in the way lighter options besides a few salads or an appetizer. Pretty quickly I decided on the hot chicken salad. It is a chicken breast fried with your choice of Buffalo or their Nashville hot sauce atop a basic salad with s good assortment of toppings like tomato, bacon crumbles, onion and the dressing mixed in. I opted for the Buffalo sauce, but on the side as I was unsure how hot it would really be. The waitress assured me it's less heat than the Nashville hot, but just to be safe on my weak stomach I asked for it on the side lol. My family member chose one of their burgers and a Caesar salad as the side instead of fries...balance ya know. When I tell you everything came out so quick I mean it. I was surprised at how fast they had it at our table. Everything looked delicious. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side because it definitely had a kick. My salad was fresh and the perfect amount of dressing mixed in. The lettuce was crispy and they didn't skip on size or toppings. The chicken was crispy, but still fairly moist. Honestly I loved the salad without the chicken as well. The portion was so large I took half of it home. The burger was cooked well and the Caesar salad again was amazing and fresh. The few things I disliked were the added credit card fee and the menu prices were pretty steep. I wanted the salmon, but $26 for lunch for one meal was too steep for me. Everything on the list you're looking on average at least $17. Again service was awesome, food good and came out quick. Full bar and live music alone I'm sure brings a crowd. If you like day drinking, live music & a country atmosphere this is your spot! Their mason jar drinks were great. We got a blueberry smash & a Blackberry lime. The Rangoons & the deviled eggs were very flavorful & nicely portioned for an appetizer. The Sonoran burger was a little spicy but is loaded with cheese & jalapeños. The chicken tenders (house style) come smothered in a buffalo sauce and with a side of coleslaw that's very fresh. It was a very slow Super Bowl Sunday & The food came out quickly but the staff gives off a very bored & slightly irritated vibe. Hopefully it was just an off day. I wanted to like the chicken but it wasn't crispy and the texture tasted like reheated leftovers. The fry's were soggy and didn't want me going back for more as I didn't finish them. Been here twice and both times it was great. I've tried the chicken tenders, fries, Mac n cheese and MC Burger....all delicious. The fries look and taste like freshly cut potato without being soggy. Used to love going to the Stillery; generally affordable....great music....and the salads, pizzas and burgers were to die for. The music is still good; but the salads are generic, the pizzas are overcooked and lacking flavor; and the entrees are overpriced. This was my go to spot in downtown Chandler...no longer. read more

Went in on Saturday and arrived at 4:35, seated right away which was awesome as we were waiting for the rest of our party. (Family, celebrating a birthday) my fiance and I waited 20 minutes before we had any type of acknowledgment from the staff. 5-10 minutes I understand if you're busy, but to come by the table at 20 minutes of sitting there in my opinion constitutes manager involvement. The server said "hi guys I'll be with you in 2 minutes" to which I responded with "well it's already been 20! What's 2 more?" And the server was like oh really? Huh. Then walked away. She did end up apologizing and saying it was on here because she just didn't see us.... We've had some amazing experiences and some poor ones. Only reason for the 2 star is because food was quick, friendly food runner, and a great live band and atmosphere. I really just wish some kind of remedy was attempted- manager being involved, maybe offering a comped appetizer (I've been in the food industry for 10+ years) Over all the service standards have gone downhill and to be honest we probably won't return any time soon. read more

We came here for drinks on a Sunday afternoon. The place was full of people having a good time. You walk into a large, open area that resembles a barn. Open concept space for eating and dancing in front of a generously sized stage that could accommodate a full band. We happened to get there just as a female guitarist & vocalist was setting up to play. We ordered some cocktails from the list of unique & creative libations and received them quickly even though it was very busy. The waitress was very friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere, music and mood so much we ended up staying for a second round. The bar & seating area are huge and a long patio that opens up to the back side of the stage is perfect for sunny Arizona days. We did not order food so I can't speak for the quality but if the size of the crowd and the mouthwatering smells coming from the kitchen are any indication I'd say it's worth a second trip. read more

We ate there last Sunday for brunch - it was our second visit. I ordered the Chicken Biscuit which is hot chicken and pork gravy on biscuits. The gravy amounted to a small dollop on one of the two biscuits. The chicken was okay until I cut into the large breast and found it was gray inside (horribly undercooked). Unfortunately, I ate a little before l noticed it and ended up paying the price that afternoon and evening. The food was terrible. The chicken plate was a piece of dried out breast with a hot sauce thrown on it, and the fries are so thin that by the time they got to us they were cold. Also I had four double buffalo trace and waters that totaled $112. I can literally buy the bottle for less than one drink cost. I don't mind spending money but that is ridiculous to charge that much, it's not even a high end bourbon. Our bill was $211.32 before tip for bar food at best. Cool country bar/saloon up in Happy Valley. Definitely has Nashville vibes to it. They had live music on Friday night, mainly country covers and a few of the bands own stuff. It was weird though, the band was like three songs in and decided to play the national anthem and had everybody stop eating and doing what they were doing and stand for it. A bit weird as it was 9pm and they were several songs in. Food was pretty good. Definitely a southern comfort food feel with large portions. Also plenty of beer and cocktails. If you are a lover of country music and most of that comfort food from Tennessee this is your stop. We started with some homemade pretzels which are really soft and we had a choice of some homemade cheese or stone ground mustard. Now keep in mind while we're eating we had live music which they have pretty much every single night and they do take some requests. My other half got a humongous salad and I got some Hangar meat with some cheese and grilled tomato on the really good very different but really good. Are server was so awesome and I really kind of felt bad for her if she was working a double shift. When we showed up there was barely a wait and when we left there was a line out the door so this place is obviously becoming extremely popular. The Stillery is right down the road from our house in Phoenix, and we were stoked when it first opened, a bar with live music every day of the week is pretty hard to find in our neck of the woods (a lot more PF Changs and Olive Gardens than I care for normally). I'll start with the Stillery Food! Everything we have had there has been high quality food with solid ingredients and flavor, but the portions are damn big (and priced that way too). The first couple of times my wife and I went in there we figured we wouldn't be able to frequent it as our bill was always sky high, but we have learned that 90 percent of their meals can easily be shared, which leaves more room on the budget for an extra whiskey or two, along with an extra hour of the wonderful live performers they bring through there. Atmosphere is great, much different than anything we have in the area (see above, lots of Olive Garden types). Our service has been hit or miss. If we sit at the bar, the bartenders are amazing, friendly, and attentive (Bar top seating tends to be our preference anyway), table service has been spotty, but better recently! Stillery definitely isn't going to give you the feel (or bill) of a dive restaurant that you can hit up every Wednesday, but it's a great atmosphere that can be a really fun time on occasion! One negative I will point out is that there is a CC service charge, which in itself is ridiculous to me, but they also don't mention it when you pay, just add it to the bill. That's the biggest thing I'd change about the place. read more
