My friends and I went to the Stillery on a busy Friday evening. Got there and had to wait for a table, no big deal. The vibe was less honky tonk and more meat market which we weren't looking for. Loved the atmosphere! Music was great . Drinks were flowing . Even after only being open a few weeks they seemed to have it all coming together. Our server Sam aka Samantha was awesome! Unfortunately my rating is not based on the food, which is pretty decent. Also great ambiance with the live music by talented local artists. My complaint is the shady pricing practices. Went here with my family for a birthday brunch and the mimosa pricing was $2 more than advertised on the menu. When we asked the server about it, she stated that they are in the process of increasing fees and having new menus printed. Whaaat?! I'm sorry that they aren't printed yet, but last I checked this is called false advertisement. We were there today, Friday, 12/29, at 12:30 pm. The food and service was excellent. That is the best mac & cheese I have had in a long time. We had the pizza, too, and it was delicious. What I did not care for was the live singing. It was too loud. I could not hear the person I went to lunch with. If we try it again, I will call to ensure no live music. When the singer took a break, it was a relief. While the singer was on break, they played a great playlist, and the volume was suitable for a lunch crowd. Having a live singer would be ideal for Happy Hour. Note: for the singer. When you are singing live, people should be able to understand the words you are singing, and you should adjust your volume to the number of people in your audience. read more

A friend and I went last night for the first time around happy hour. The aesthetic was charming inside, and since it was a Thursday, there was some live music with an acoustic guitar. To me, The Stillery has more of a country sports bar feel than a restaurant or brewery. The fried catfish and the house hot wings were not our preferred tastes but they were cooked well. The fries were slightly soggy, but the Sonoran Burger was spicy and delicious. Our server was more than willing to take the items we did not like off our bill, so we had a good experience overall. Met some friends for Happy Hour, but was a bit disappointed with their Happy Hour offerings. They do have "daily" specials Monday-Thursday from 2-6, but overall not a deal. We went on a Wednesday, it was 1/2 off wine and pizza. The wine choices were so-so, but at 1/2 off they were still $7-8 per; and the pour was small. The pizza was a deal at 1/2 off. We didn't want either, so we ordered the wings to share, they were good but they were $19! It seems the best day to go for their specials is on a Tuesday when all appetizers are half off, but Beer, wine and cocktails are at full price. I was excited to see this place coming, but it didn't live up to the hype. The good: they were at probably 30-40% capacity at lunch time which is better than the places that failed in this location prior. They had music playing, but it was pretty loud so don't expect to have a lunchtime conversation. Staff was friendly and I was promptly sat/served etc. The bad: I ordered the Nashville chicken minus the pickles/lettuce/tomato and add pepper jack cheese. It came out without pepper jack cheese and with everything I asked for it not to have. Even the bartended commented he wasn't even sure it was my sandwich it was so wrong. He did grab me a slice of pepper jack to put on it and I scraped the other stuff off. On the plus side, the sandwich did have a little bite which is good. The fries were under cooked and will probably be fine once they get some seat time with the new kitchen. Overall it wasn't horrible, but with the errors and a lovely up charge for using a credit card, I doubt I'll be back. read more

My husband and I have been here multiple times and have had the best experience each time. Word of warning though, if you're in a hurry don't expect to get a table at 6:00pm on a Friday and leave in an hour. Your will have at least an hour or more wait for a table on weekends, but In my option the wait is probably the best part of the night. You can grab a drink and hangout at the rail while you watch people dancing to the live band. The food is very good too. All our servers have been great.
