Food is over priced... hubby had a combo plate with ribs, bbq chicken, Mac & cheese and fries ... bbq chicken was what looked like a small boneless/skinless chicken thigh that was over cooked and dry, ribs were not that bad .. Mac and cheese over cooked noodles and more cheese sauce than noodles... I had the combo plate with Linguiça, pulled pork, elote and fries ... Linguiça was so dry and over cooked it was inedible, pulled pork was ok but dry very small drizzle of bbq sauce, elote tasted like ...canned corn than they tossed on flat top and threw a spoonful of mayo on and a sprinkle of chili powder. The beat part of the meal was the fries. The roll was a nice addition but very small and didn't do much especially if you had the pulled Pork .., couple sliced so bread would have been better Also it is kind of a pain to order food at one station (while nice they bring it to you) but the have to go wait at the bar if you want to order a drink and pay a second time (or open a tab and keep coming back when you want another drink) Over all a very relaxing place and was nice relaxing listening to the DJ. read more

The food was good. However, I do have an issue with up-charges that are not included in the menu. I got the 2 Meat combo. On the menu it's $22 and it comes with choice of 2 meats and 2 sides. I originally wanted the brisket and the ribs but the brisket wasn't ready yet so I had to pick something else. So ended up choosing the salmon as my second choice. I didn't realize until after I paid that choosing salmon is $4 extra. No where in the menu does it say it's an extra $4 if you choose salmon and the lady who took my order didn't inform me that the salmon had an up charge. If I knew it was going to be $4 more, I would have chosen another meat. I should mention that this is only my second visit here. On my very first visit in January, I had a similar experience but this time with the sides. I had ordered something that came with a side. Since this was my first visit, I wasn't familiar with the menu and I asked the person taking my order what sides were available. She named them off and I picked one and paid. Then I noticed in my receipt that I was charged $3 extra for the side. It turns out that the side I chose happened to be a side that had an up charge. Again, I wasn't told by the person taking my order that it would be extra and I wouldn't have chosen it if I knew. So now that this kind of thing has happened 2 out of 2 times coming here, I thought it needed to be mentioned. I think the management/owners need to update their menus to reflect the up charges appropriately or at least have staff notify patrons when there will be an up charge for something when they place their order. We called to make an order to go, and they told us we could only use DoorDash. We placed our order and drove to the restaurant at the designated time, and we were told they hadn't even looked at our order yet. She said it would be fast, just 5 minutes, but in fact it was almost 15 minutes. See picture, could not believe how small of a container of macaroni and cheese we got for $7! That was basically $1 per bite. Also, the cucumber salad side I got was basically a small collection of slices with some sesame seeds thrown on top. No noticeable dressing at all. The order was incorrect and they ran out of Mac & Cheese, the cashier came out and told me they wasn't enough for my order, I suggested the macaroni salad. She agreed and then started to walk away when I realized the macaroni salad was three dollars cheaper. I told her and her response was I don't know how to refund the difference. This poor training by the management. She final came out with my change. This place is overpriced for what you get. And besides they ran out of utensils and needed to give us plastic utensils. Came here with my wife, for dinner, on a Saturday night, a few weeks ago. I was surprised how big the inside was, there's also seating outside. This would be a great place to have drinks and hangout with friends. The food however was a bit disappointing.i had a patty melt which was more so melted cheese and a tiny patty the size of a half dollar. My wife had fish tacos. The quality of the food was ok. Leaving a tab open is not always the best idea. I love this place and always here when watching sporting events, but don't be surprised if you see one or two drinks added on to your tab when closing out. Can't blame the bartender though, there's usually only one working when the place is full. It's best to just close out or just bring cash. My solution, just don't tip and consider it a tip to the restaurant. If you're there for 3-4 hours watching a game, you just can't complain to the bartender the number of drinks you actually ordered. I brought our family here to celebrate my step son's 18th birthday. We were excited to try a new spot in Tracy that we haven't tried before. First, they have you order and pay for your food first as well as go to the counter with your soda cup to get a refill which was fine but just letting others know since I'd like this information before hand. As a family, we ordered two combo plates which includes two sides and meats. We chose the pulled chicken, tri tip, and ribs. The sides they chose were potato salad and the macaroni salad which were excellent. We also ordered the fish tacos, the chicken bacon wrap, the patty melt, and two tri tip dip sandwiches. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food but the chicken bacon wrap was not enjoyed. They said it tasted odd. I personally got the tri tip dip sandwich and onion rings as a side. The menu and the girl taking my order didn't inform me about the $3 up charge for the rings. I think it's common courtesy to let the customer know this because I would have been fine with the fries. Now to my sandwich, it was very underwhelming. The tri tip had no flavor and was very fatty/hard to eat. I had to throw away most of it. The au Ju sauce was also bland and watery. Lastly we were bummed the brisket was out but hopefully next time we can try it out! On a more positive note, the alcoholic drinks were delicious and the employees were nice. read more

Then if you want a cocktail you have to find a way to be seen or get the attention of the bartender since it was Sunday and the front bar was full of sports jerseys watching the game. For the food, chicken fried steak was decent, over easy eggs came broken, biscuit was hard gravy was cold but it did have really good flavor. BF said the burger was delicious. Overall the food was ok. I think this would be a good "hangout bar" I wouldn't consider it a restaurant. Maybe that's why the food was so pricey maybe to deter you idk? First time coming here & I should say... not what I thought it was going to be. The place is very casual, feels like a bar with a food menu. There's tables inside but high ones, a few family tables. (We ate outside) You can tell this place can get very loud during football season. So if that's the type of environment you're looking into.. this is it for you. It's great to have a new restaurant in Tracy. 1st and foremost for a place that just opened they are already doing a great job. All the staff was super engaging and nice. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. Now let's talk about that food. The sliders are AMAZING, the apple slaw was a great combination on the slider. All three meats were amazing and full of flavor and cooked spectacularly. The nachos, oh man. I'm such a critique when it comes to nachos and these were damn near perfect. Each bite was full of something. There are for sure no light hands in the back of the house, bbq sauce, cheese and everything else galore. They have 20+ taps and have local Morgan territory on tap which is a huge WIN. Looks like a fully stocked bar as well. This was our first visit and I have some constructive criticism: Since we weren't greeted, it took us a while to realize were to find the menus (scan QR Code on the napkin box at your table). The bar was full and we had to compete for the bartender's attention. I ask the bartender for a recommendation of non-IPA beer for my husband. She recommended the "HopTomic." I asked if that was an IPA (because it had the word "hop" in it), and she turned to the waitress next to her and asked if it was an IPA. It was. I recommend she study the beers on tap. My husband ordered the Bbq bacon burger.  It came with a chicken patty?? Nowhere on the menu did it say "chicken." The menu only said "homemade patty." Also, he didn't expect to get a side of spicy fries. My husband said his lips were burning. My 6-year-old is a picky eater and grilled cheese is one thing he likes. They got too fancy here with sourdough bread and cheddar cheese. Kids are really easy. All they want is white bread and American cheese. The bread was burnt and way too hard for his wiggly teeth to chew. Flies were flying all around our faces and our food. Finally, I would recommend there be a waitress walking to each table to freshen up patron's beverages. I don't like competing for the bartenders attention. We both ordered the 2-item combo plate, but with just 2 orders of tri-tip and macaroni salad. We felt like we could've made all the food ourselves, for not only cheaper but that actually tasted good with actual flavor. The BBQ Bacon Burger is phenomenal! Definitely our go-to burger spot, as well as BBQ. My husband and I will definitely be regulars here as we are already loyal customers of Speer BBQ at the Farmers Market and when they would do brunch at Rusty's. Their pulled pork, ribs and chicken are awesome as well. They have a great list of beer on tap and we look forward to having a place like this downtown. Looks like a fun place, right? Don't judge a book by it's cover. My sister was there Sunday afternoon with her child and friends, and was verbally harassed by a drunk patron. It started when she was ordering food at the bar - in front of the workers, who did nothing to stop it; didn't say anything to him, didn't cut the guy off from drinking more alcohol, nothing. The guy continued with the verbal abuse, harassment, and lewd behavior. When an establishment cares more about turning a profit than protecting their customers from violence, that's a sure way to get shut down. Do better. read more
