Very good BBQ disguised as bar food. The pulled pork in both the nachos and sandwich was tender flavorful and delicious. The fish tacos was a HUGE piece of fried fish so much seasoning it was delicious but I would have liked it a little smaller waist to eat. The Brussel sprouts came out burned the first time but were better the second time around. The fires were the star of all the side dishes perfectly cooked, soft but crunchy. Had a fun lunch one fall Saturday with my boo...I was craving BBQ ribs and he suggested this spot. It's a nice location on a corner in downtown Tracy. There is some patio seating as well as indoor bar seating, high top and low top tables. It's got a good vibe, lively but not rowdy. You place your order at the counter and they bring your food to you. All the workers I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. As for the food, it was good but it wouldn't be my go to BBQ place. I had a 1/2 slab and I thought the ribs were a bit tough. For my sides, I tried the potato salad and the slaw. Again-they were good but probably things I wouldn't order again. My bf's food was definitely better. He had tri tip with onion rings and mac and cheese and all of it was great. At the end of Downtown Tracy, at the roundabout across from the Transit center you will find you lunch and dinner bbq fix. Lots of outdoor seating and group to private elevated tables inside. But don't worry for those vertically challenged, they also have regular tables. Pony up to the full bar, with large tap beer bar. Or go up and order your food off to the right of the bar. So far I have had the pork ribs, that were huge, and the Tri Tip. The dry rub on the rubs was perfect, so good, you dont really need any sauce. The Tri tip had great flavor, but was pretty rare. Thank goodness I like that! Lol The sides are ample and filling. You also get a Hawaiian roll, pickled onions and actual dill pickle slices in addition. If you really need some sauce, they have a traditional bbq sauce, and a spicy mustard bbq sauce. Both are actually very good. Giving 2 stars bc the fries were good, nice and crunchy, at least the day i ordered them. I ordered the shrimp tacos and it was good that there were 4 shrimp in each taco. Unfortunately, they were so greasy I had to eat them with a fork after taking them off of the tortilla and putting them on a napkin to get all the grease off. Satisfied with my choices!! Never been here we walked in and placed a to go order. Everything about this place is neat. Looks like the place is new. We were greeted as we walked in and gave us the run down how the service works. We placed our order at the counter with a really nice employee I got the special chipotle shrimp taco got myself two and my hubby got the smash burger with sweet potato fries and we also tried the burnt ends. After placing our order we were offered ice cold water which was nice. I say 10/10 my chipotle shrimp taco was a hit every seasoning and ingredients it was made with was amazing definitely would get more. Hubby smash burger was slightly too salty but perfect size and cooked well plus the sweet potato fries were amazing. The Station is a Bar & Grille that was hopping with people on this Saturday evening. We ordered food and a couple beers. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. We asked one of the servers when food was going to arrive when the wait approached an hour, and he responded by saying, " I dunno, I'm not the cook". Not a good impression, and down right rude. I understand that the cooks had to prepare food for a peewee football team that came before us, but at least give us updates so we don't wonder why is it taking so long. We saw people that ordered after us being served their meals before us. That is why we questioned the wait. We ordered: Trio pork sliders- 4/5 These sliders were pretty good. 3 different ways to prepare pork sliders. The sliders with Cole slaw was my least favorite. The pork was tender and the bun very good. Cheese burger - 3/5 Asked for the burger to be cooked medium and it came out ver well done. The burger was on the dry side, but it was ok, nothing special. The sweet potato fries were very good. Garlic Shrimp - 3.5/5 The shrimp was prepared perfectly. What lacked was the robust garlic flavor like the garlic shrimp prepared in Hawaii. The shrimp was swimming in what tasted like garlic butter. But the shrimp was tender and not over cooked. One meat combo platter - 5/5 The tri-tip was cooked perfectly. It was tender and delicious. The BBQ sauce went very well the tri-tip. The French fries were crunchy soft.l, very good. Two meat combo - 2.5/5 The tri-tip and BBQ chicken thigh combo was over cooked. The chicken thigh was dry and a little hard. It was also on the small side. The tri-tip did not look like the tri-tip on the one meat combo platter that was excellent. The BBQ sauce on the tri-tip was scant. The quantity was small, and most of the tri-tip was well done and dry. There was a couple of small pieces of tri-tip that was cooked medium. The pic of this platter will show the small size of the meat combo. Very disappointing. The sides of sweet potato fries and Mac & cheese were very good. Overall, I believe The station can prepare good food. We might have came at a bad time when the staff was overwhelmed. We' were looking forward to barbecue for the family while watching the Niner game. We ordered a meal for the family and got no barbecue sauce at all on all the entrées. After calling to inform we did get "sorry about that" as a reply. Can't recommend and will move on to higher ground for local bbq. read more

Don't get the Burnt Ends or the Ribs. I got both and was disappointed. Burnt Ends were mostly fat. I know that the cut they are from is more fatty than brisket, but when I have had them at other BBQ places, and even from Costco, they were not nearly this fatty. Generally when I eat ribs I can leave nothing but the bone. Here it was 2 ribs, that looked thick, but they still looked thick after I ate off everything that I could. I had the 2 meat platter. Supposed to be 2 sides. I ordered Onion Rings and the chili. I realized later that they never gave me the chili. The onion rings were decent. Family had Tri-tip and a burger, and they had better luck than I did. For Drink refills you have to go up the counter and wait in line behind anyone who is ordering. read more

My husband and I have eaten at this establishment three times, and each time we have left feeling dissatisfied. The service is decent, but the staff taking orders are often rude and seem to rush customers. The main issue is the quality of the food in relation to the price. During our first visit, we ordered the onion ring tower, which cost $14, but we only received about seven onion rings. That doesn't seem worth it. The meat options, including the pulled pork and tri-tip, have been tough every time we've ordered them. The potato salad and macaroni salad tasted stale and had way too many olives, which ruined the flavor. The only dish I truly enjoyed was the spicy apple slaw, but even that isn't enough to make me want to return. We were trying to visit the business next door but it happened to be closed. A blessing in disguise otherwise we wouldn't have stopped here for dinner. Inside was super loud and the noise just hit me super hard when we opened the door. You order at the counter and alcohol at the bar. The gal at the front wasn't friendly when we approached. She was there long enough to explain how ordering worked. I'm glad she went on her break because we were helped by the young man instead. He was super friendly and smiley. Excellent customer service from him. I liked my food. Mac n cheese was good. My husband wasn't a fan of his patty melt. The owner deff a stand up guy , very involved with his customers and want their honest opinion of their experience. There's a great vibe here. It's a welcoming environment, very hometown feeling. Local beers on tap. Casual atmosphere but can be loud. They host a number of events like watch parties, special brunches, late night music with a live DJ. Such a great addition to downtown. I dinged one star because each time I visit the food has been luke warm. I expect BBQ to be steaming as soon as it's served. I prefer Speer's food truck because that's how the food always is but I realize the setup at a sit-down restaurant is very different. This was our regular spot for girls' night--food and drinks were always great and consistent. I love their blueberry mojito and Moscow mule! We had one off night with a rude bartender who mistakenly told my friend (who hadn't even ordered) that she owed money, and was unnecessarily aggressive with me over a $6 tab. When we spoke to the manager, she kept, saying he was new and in medical school, which felt dismissive. She said they train staff to be aggressive due to past walkouts.
