At the end of Downtown Tracy, at the roundabout across from the Transit center you will find you lunch and dinner bbq fix. Lots of outdoor seating and group to private elevated tables inside. But don't worry for those vertically challenged, they also have regular tables. Pony up to the full bar, with large tap beer bar. Or go up and order your food off to the right of the bar. So far I have had the pork ribs, that were huge, and the Tri Tip. The dry rub on the rubs was perfect, so good, you dont really need any sauce. The Tri tip had great flavor, but was pretty rare. Thank goodness I like that! Lol The sides are ample and filling. You also get a Hawaiian roll, pickled onions and actual dill pickle slices in addition. If you really need some sauce, they have a traditional bbq sauce, and a spicy mustard bbq sauce. Both are actually very good. If you are craving bbq, but also want a great craft beer or a cocktail, the station has your ticket to ride.

Came here for lunch with our friends. The staff was very friendly. It took us a minute to get our orders by choice, good thing the lady at the counter had patience. I love the vibe. It's a very lively place. Apparently they have live music on Wednesday evenings. We will have to come here and check it out. We ordered the Slider Trio. The sliders are loaded with bbq tri tip. It's very good. We orderd their nachos as well. That is loaded with tri tip and with bbq sauce. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Tracy.

Tastey or WasteY???? ABSOLUTELY WASTEY!!!! What a nicely planned out esthetic for a restaurant. Too bad the food didn't come close to the esthetics of the place. The place seemed cold. No welcoming smiling faces. Almost lifeless. The potato salad was tasteless. It literally tasted like boiled potatoes. No seasoning whatsoever so ever. The meat in my sandwich was so salty, flavorless. And don't let me get started on what they refer to as "bbq" sauce. What a disappointment. I suggest to others, to venture out....way out. My husband has this old saying, when we go somewhere that we will not try again, he says, take a good look

The food here was very mid. I was very disappointed in the tri tip sandwich. There was barely any sauce so the whole thing was so dry my jaws hurt from chewing so much. I would say the best thing we had were the fries. If you're looking for good BBQ this place is not it. The sandwiches come with a side and i picked sweet potato fries. When i looked at the receipt i saw that they charged an extra $2 for that even though nowhere on the menu it stated there would be an additional charge You scan the QR code for menu and order at the counter which i liked.

The Station is a Bar & Grille that was hopping with people on this Saturday evening. We ordered food and a couple beers. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. We asked one of the servers when food was going to arrive when the wait approached an hour, and he responded by saying, " I dunno, I'm not the cook". Not a good impression, and down right rude. I understand that the cooks had to prepare food for a peewee football team that came before us, but at least give us updates so we don't wonder why is it taking so long. We saw people that ordered after us being served their meals before us. That is why we questioned the wait. We ordered: Trio pork sliders- 4/5 These sliders were pretty good. 3 different ways to prepare pork sliders. The sliders with Cole slaw was my least favorite. The pork was tender and the bun very good. Cheese burger - 3/5 Asked for the burger to be cooked medium and it came out ver well done. The burger was on the dry side, but it was ok, nothing special. The sweet potato fries were very good. Garlic Shrimp - 3.5/5 The shrimp was prepared perfectly. What lacked was the robust garlic flavor like the garlic shrimp prepared in Hawaii. The shrimp was swimming in what tasted like garlic butter. But the shrimp was tender and not over cooked. One meat combo platter - 5/5 The tri-tip was cooked perfectly. It was tender and delicious. The BBQ sauce went very well the tri-tip. The French fries were crunchy soft.l, very good. Two meat combo - 2.5/5 The tri-tip and BBQ chicken thigh combo was over cooked. The chicken thigh was dry and a little hard. It was also on the small side. The tri-tip did not look like the tri-tip on the one meat combo platter that was excellent. The BBQ sauce on the tri-tip was scant. The quantity was small, and most of the tri-tip was well done and dry. There was a couple of small pieces of tri-tip that was cooked medium. The pic of this platter will show the small size of the meat combo. Very disappointing. The sides of sweet potato fries and Mac & cheese were very good. Overall, I believe The station can prepare good food. We might have came at a bad time when the staff was overwhelmed. We'll be back another time in the near future, and hope our experience will be better. I'll update this review then.

First time going tonight and the food was great. We ordered a little bit of everything. Nice clean restaurant. Service was good but very odd that you pay first and then eat. Maybe to deter from theft but anyways the Nachos were killer. Tritip was on point. Kid got the BBQ bacon burger and it looked amazing. Definitely will be going back to sample some other items.

Why do you have to get drinks and food separately?

Best guess. There are those who like to have a cocktail without eating and those who are there for food only. You can always order drinks and food from the bar keep.

A little over a year ago, they moved their weekly operations to a new location at the 19th hole, at the Tracy Golf Course. NARRATIVE: I was invited to Speer BBQ for lunch a few weeks ago by a friend. After arriving, I was surprised to see how nice the set up was at Speer's BBQ new location. Big floor to ceiling windows overlook the golf courses putting and front nine holes. Beyond the views of the golf course, the rolling Sierra Mountains can also be seen in the background distance. The seating area at Speer's is abundant. Lots of four person tables and even a bar seating area with elevated, single seats. Not mentioned on their menu, I ordered a Tri Tip, grilled cheese sandwich which came with a side. I opted for their backed beans. My sandwich was really tasty. Lots of meat and cheese melted around it and just the right amount of BBQ sauce to know you were eating a BBQ sandwich. SCENE: Speer BBQ is located in the rural, Southend of Tracy at the Tracy Gold Course. If you drive South on Chrisman Road, just follow it until you dead end, beyond the 33 and Highway 580 freeways. Thank you for an awesome "Taste of Texas Barbecue" in Tracy. Finally! I had a craving for brisket…read moreand searched on DoorDash for options. This with the very low expectations that if there were any offerings, anything remotely similar to Texas Barbecue would be a miracle. Thank heaven for miracles! It's all in the name - Taste of Texas Barbecue puts the flavor and quality where its name is. I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped the brisket and pulled pork on my 3-meat plate and found that everything was moist and smoked just right. At first, I was taken aback that the meats were wrapped in paper and rather luke/room-temp warm. Then I thought that is very smart to keep the steam created in the take-out container from overcooking the meat during delivery (similar to when I use butcher paper to complete my smoking process to keep the flavor and moisture). Having Texas roots, I am very persnickety about brisket in particular. I usually have to have a flat shipped to me when I have the time smoke my own to get that amazing Texas bark. One of the markers of great Texas-style brisket done right is that it has the trifecta - (1) perfect layer of bark, (2) tender/moist, and (3) the smoke flavor comes through so you don't need sauce except to complement the flavor. TTB has taken this Texas girl on a flavor journey back to Dallas!!! For the sides, I chose potato salad and coleslaw, but potato salad is not an option anymore, but is still listed on DoorDash. TTB gave me a call when they received my order to let me know and listed other options - I chose the Mac. I loved the coleslaw. The Mac was good, but I would have liked it more if it arrived hot, so it may have been creamier. The barbecue sauce is perfect - not overly sweet - a great compliment to the brisket. The only thing I added was sliced onions that I marinate in fresh lemon juice. It complements the flavor of the brisket and bbq sauce. Thank you, TTB - I will definitely be a frequent flyer coming back for more and more when I don't feel like ordering and smoking my own! :0)

Everything looks the same and the same friendly atmosphere resides. Service is always awesome, and so is the food. This time we both chose the fish and chips lunch which includes 3 good sized pieces of batter dipped fish, and perfectly crispy fries. It was all great. Prior visit - This is a great little place to be for a meal. Totally unassuming from the street and even when you walk up, as it is in a small strip business center off of 11th Street. When I walked in for lunch, I was immediately greeted by a guy behind the bar (which is right at the door) with a smile. I proceeded upstairs to the clean and comfortable 'loft' and grabbed a table along the window so I could see out. The interior is clean and simple, open first floor to second floor ceiling. Great music playing, and just a nice vibe all the way around. Andrea, came by with a smile and greeting, asked if I had any questions, and headed off with my order. I didn't get the bartender's name, but he was just as attentive and super nice, as he came upstairs to my table and described some of the beers he currently has available. Small batch craft beers are good. . . Food: The menu is not so 'typical' as you get to select your protein, the sauce or spice for that protein, then your carb, and your veggie (or make it a salad). Nice choices too. My chicken with Korean BBQ sauce, beer batter fries and grilled Brussels sprouts was good, especially the sprouts. My chicken was on the dry side, but I have a feeling it may have been due to the fact they were managing a party of 15 as well as all the other patrons while I was there. A bit hectic for two people to keep up that pace. I definitely recommend coming to the Upper Room.
