A gas station turned coffee shop is the collab I never knew I needed. I visited this Flagstaff cafe practically every day for a week long period. This spot is on the outskirts of town, but it has pretty much everything you'd need for a productive work sesh. Not only are they stacked with an extensive coffee menu, but they also have baked goods and lunch items ready to go. I personally love the space itself. There's two rooms, each packed with available tables and comfy couches, as well as a large patio outside. I never once struggled to find a spot here, and it was so nice to always have immediate access to an outlet. You can tell it's a community space since you see familiar faces everyday. I was obsessed with their selection of locally made goods available for sale. There were even a few books signed by local authors, which instantly caught my interest. Always a fan of a small business that supports other small businesses!

Lavender Latte on ice was just right for my tastebuds. Craving flavor so ordered the San Francisco breakfast sandwich. Delish!

Good Food On The Run..... We needed a spot for lunch on Highway 180 in the northern part of Flagstaff and came across the Station Cafe. The good reviews were right on. - Overall: 4 - Location: 4 - Ambiance: 3 - Menu: 4 - Food Quality: 4 - Food Portion: 5 - Service: 4 - Price and Value: 5 - Parking: 5 Pros: - Location: Fine...especially if you're in the northern part of Flagstaff. - Exterior: Interesting. It used to be a gas station, but the owners made some smart adjustments and turned it into a restaurant. - Ambiance: Casual and Comfortable. After viewing menus posted on several boards, you order at the counter, pick a table in one of 2 rooms and wait for your name to be called. - Menu: Creative. A combination of deli sandwiches, coffee drinks, beer (maybe wine), canned drinks and baked goods. - Food: Very good. I had an "Interstate 17" sandwich with vegetables and melted cheddar cheese on slices of toasted panini bread. My wife had a similar sandwich, but with roasted turkey, avocado and some vegetables. Both were $12-14. We washed those down with a homemade lemonade and iced tea. - Service: It's self-service, but everyone seemed nice. - Price and Value: Really good. - Parking: Plenty in the front and side lots. The Station Cafe is an excellent choice to grab a good fast meal (or drink and pastry) on the road (Highway 180) heading north from Flagstaff.

I-17 with turkey (gluten free)

We stumbled upon this spot while exploring Flagstaff and were thrilled to find a plethora of gluten-free options, perfect for my mom and I. I loved the iced white chocolate mocha with oat milk - it was deliciously balanced. My mom enjoyed her hot latte with coconut milk. We also tried some GF paninis, and while I wasn't a huge fan of mine, my mom loved hers. The GF pastries were a hit, especially the raspberry oat bar, which reminded us of a favorite treat from downtown Flagstaff. The cafe's local art, music, and drink options make it a great spot. We'll definitely return for coffee and pastries, but be prepared for a slightly pricey experience!

The Panini's at "The Station"became my focal point upon arrival!! Local roasted coffee We ordered The Humphrey Panini and a Waffle. The Panini was pressed so perfectly. The flavors were dancing the tango on my tongue. Now that I've had one on my next visit I'd ask for well done bacon The Waffle I ordered had homemade whipped cream with fresh berries on top. I was expecting a Belgium waffle. It was thin. The toppings made up for it. Still yummy The staff are all so nice; helpful Plenty of parking and seating Large parties Many Gluten-free options Spacious Dog friendly

During a road trip, I was able to enjoy coming to and from my destination! Love that they not only have gluten free bread for paninis, they also have gluten free beer, and pastries! I had the sandwich with the turkey/ pesto first visit and the roast beef/ horseradish second and both were amazing. Love the various patio options outside, the staff was extremely friendly both visits. I tried the gluten free brownie, pecan bar, and berry bar.. the pecan bar unfortunately was just way too salty for me (although I'm sure this would be a great balance for someone else), I wasn't a fan of the brownie, however, the raspberry bar was fun because it tasted like a pop tart.. which I hadn't had in years. Will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in Flagstaff again!

If you're looking for a cozy spot with delicious food and great coffee, The Station Cafe is a must-visit. Their breakfast paninis are incredible--perfectly toasted with the right balance of flavors, and the rustic farmhouse bread takes it to the next level. The coffee is always top-notch, making it the perfect place to fuel up for the day. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. It's a great place to relax and unwind, especially with the nice space and chill vibes. Keep in mind, it does get pretty packed during ski season since it's on the way to AZ Snowbowl, so try to go during the week to avoid the crowds. I haven't experienced the live music yet, but it's definitely something I'm looking forward to. Prices are pretty reasonable for the area, which is always a bonus. Highly recommend!

Highway I-17 with vegan cheese. My latest obsession!

Yes you all get 5 stars! Food: soooo delicious. Best gluten free panini ever. I'm going to dream about this when I go home but since yelp has a coupon I'm taking an extra home! Woohoo! Vegan milk choices and vegan cheese options. I wish the desserts had more dairy free options. An employee checked for me and advised what I could have. The almond balls. Nope but that sandwich made me forget the desserts. Ambiance: rustic yet inviting. Plenty of seating and staff regularly keeping tables clean. Lots of cold drinks to choose from if you don't want coffee drinks. Service: dedicated to addressing allergies and very pleasant while doing so. This is one place I'm glad I don't live near. I'd be here every day!

This is the front of the building.

I really enjoyed the coffee and panini! Was in a rush so couldn't stay long, but would recommend if you're heading up to the Grand Canyon or just chillin in North Grand Canyon! Chill vibes and friendly service.

Highway 89 and tomato soup

Absolutely incredible cafe with delicious food and great vibes. It's a casual order at counter place with menu on a chalkboard with a mix of specials and case of baked good items. Service is friendly at the counter and staff are knowledgeable about their offerings. As someone with celiac (strictly gluten-free) and vegetarian, there were several options available, the most exciting of which was paninis! They had gluten-free bread for panini and they also use a separate panini oven to cook them and have good cross-contact protocols in place. I felt very comfortable eating here. I ordered the Highway 89 panini (smoked gouda, sharp cheddar, swiss) with a side of creamy tomato soup. The cheeses were melted to perfection, the flavor was delicious, and the GF panini bread was probably some of the best I have ever had. Paired with some creamy tomato soup, and a side of a cool ranch-style side sauce, the meal was absolutely sublime. I don't think I could have been any more satisfied with the meal. The location has a progressive vibe, which is great, and it looks like they host a lot of fun events at their location. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere nearby, but I wish I could transport this place close to me. Highly recommend whether you're passing by and definitely worth the drive if you're within range! Excellent!

GF cinnamon roll - certainly not a fluffy beauty, rather dense. Taste and texture were good. I'd try the gluten version next if in stock.

Needed some between hike fuel. Around 10:30am on a Saturday the selection was pretty picked over. I was really hoping to try the homemade cinnamon roll but only the gluten free option was available. The place was pretty full so I didn't want to wait for something made-to-order. The employee could not tell me what was in the breakfast croissant in the case beyond "a keto cup" - he was rather annoyed when I asked if that was made of eggs and beside himself when I dared ask if it was the veggie or meat one - "veggie I think?". So I gave up on that and since I don't fear GF options if the place is known to do them decently, I ordered the GF cinnamon roll. They warmed it up (not a long wait for that at all). The taste was really good and even the texture was fine, but it was rather dense. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it, I would just prefer it lighter. It fueled me up from empty to ready to keep on trekking all day. I'm really glad this place is there, right on the road to/from Snowbowl, to fuel up our bodies for dreamy mountain days. I just wish the service had been friendlier and I think they could have viably had produced a bit more of their best sellers for the day without wasting anything.

Ask the Community - The Station Café

Do you still have cinnamon rolls? I don't see them on the menu.

Yes

Is this place still open? No answer when I'm all. I'm trying to confirm they have GF paninis and GF pastries as we are heading to Flagstaff this weekend. Thanks so much!

Yes! GF all the way!

The restaurant itself was clean and had a stylish modern-meets-vintage vibe that made the atmosphere feel both cozy and upscale. Their cocktail menu was especially unique. I ordered the Vendetta Ride, and it was easily one of my favorite drinks of the night: light, slightly sweet, and finished with just the right kick. I absolutely loved it. The menu features creative contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on sharing plates, which made the experience even more fun. We ordered two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert, and overall everything was excellent. My only critique would be the Duck Taquitos. The duck flavor was not there, and the mesquite mole sauce leaned too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, every dish impressed us. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this spot if you're in Flagstaff!

I don't know if chef changes the menus often BUT we had the fattoush salad, the bread board, cabbage, fideo with the venison sausage, and the chicken thighs and for dessert, we had the parsley and the apricot gelato. Yes, it sounds strange, parsley gelato but holy moly, it is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. It is savory and sweet, so if you like really sweet desserts, it might not be your favorite but it is definitely unique and delicious. Everything was incredible. My only critique is that everything is a shareable and there's no way to serve each item, which is easily fixed with a serving spoon so, not really a critique. 11/10 food Service was great. Attentive without smothering me. Ambiance was good too. Not too crowded. Noise level was good. Go. You will not regret it.

A Masterclass in Modern American Fine Dining…read more My recent dinner at Atria in downtown Flagstaff was, quite simply, an exceptional experience from start to finish. Chef Rochelle Daniel has created a space that perfectly balances upscale elegance with a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a true standout in the region. We started the evening with their incredible oyster selection. The oysters with the cucumber granita were a masterclass in refreshing, clean flavors--a perfect, bright start to the meal. We also indulged in the oysters with caviar beurre blanc, which provided a stunning, decadent contrast; the richness of the beurre blanc paired with the briny pop of caviar was unforgettable. Another standout from the starters was the foie gras cornets--delicate, playful, and incredibly rich, they were a brilliant opening note for the palate. The beet salad was another highlight. Far from a simple starter, the charcoal-roasted preparation brought out a beautiful depth and earthiness, elevated by the perfect balance of creamy textures and crunchy toppings. For the main, the duck entrée was flawless. The skin was perfectly rendered, and the meat was incredibly tender, showcasing the kitchen's technical prowess. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Michael David Inkblot Cabernet Franc. It was a fantastic choice--bold and velvety with those classic notes of dark fruit and a hint of spice that held up beautifully against the richness of the duck and the earthiness of the beets. What truly elevated the presentation was the stunning pottery. Every dish was served on beautiful, locally crafted ceramic pieces that added a tactile, artisanal feel to the table. It's a thoughtful detail that grounds the high-end cuisine in the spirit of Northern Arizona. We finished the evening on a high note with a round of perfectly pulled espressos and the coconut macaroons. The macaroons were the ideal final bite--crispy on the outside, wonderfully chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness to round out the experience. From the thoughtful presentation of every plate to the impeccable, knowledgeable service, everything about the evening felt intentional and memorable. Atria is not just a meal; it is a culinary experience that showcases the very best of Northern Arizona's ingredients. It is a must-visit.

Could barely finish my 20+$ drink. Bread was VERY crusty. Not fluffy, and coated in oil. Other than that the food was good. We picked this place because it was supposed to be the best in Flagstaff. We enjoyed it, service was good, the place itself is amazing. The bathroom smell was delicious but too potent. I loved being able to see the exposed kitchen area in the back!
