Place was hidden upstairs, dim environment, quiet, & relaxing. We were cordially greeted by the staff. Menu served a good amount of different options to choose from. Wine list was pretty extensive. They also had a wall of many different regions of wines to choose from if you decide to purchase. We opted for the charcuterie platter & a bottle of old world red wine to share. I absolutely love this space. It's got classic personal memories for me having had the prior name 'wine loft' , for obvious reasons, with the space being a loft over looking the streets of downtown flagstaff. The service was kind, quick and attentive. The space is a beautiful room with plenty to look at. I've love that for years it's he'd a large collection of games for the community and guests to borrow during your visit and enjoy. The wine was fantastic and I will always be a customer at this place. Highly recommend a visit and I honestly don't want to over share so that one can have the experience themselves. Flagstaff is more of a beer town, so it was good to see a wine bar as a choice. This is a pretty standard wine bar with a selection of wines mostly from the well-known places. One bummer was that they didn't appear to have any wines from Arizona available, which is a definitely a missed mark. I had hoped they offered tastings or something more wine-focused, but it was more of a place to buy a glass and some food. We had already eaten, so we didn't try the food, but the wines were decent and appropriately priced. I had a Slovenian orange wine (the most "exotic" thing I saw on the menu), and it was perfectly fine. My friend's Chilean red blend was probably better, and definitely a good wine for the price point. It is tucked away upstairs, so it feels a little "exclusive." That said, it is not a huge space, so it can get quite loud if there are too many drunks (which there surprisingly were at 5:30pm!). It definitely seems like a popular place to go. Further showing the need for more wine spots in Flag? I thought it was cool they have a menu of board games to borrow and play. I'd go back for games and wine if I was local. My wife and I came here on the recommendation of our DIL and we really had a very pleasant experience (thanks, Shelby!). The atmosphere was very calming - great music in the background and just a very laid-back vibe. We sat at a small round table next to a large window overlooking the street below. There were 8 red wines, 8 whites and a smaller number of bubbly wines to choose from. My wife and I tried two different wines each and really enjoyed them. We had the charcuterie board, which was delicious. The service was prompt and very pleasant. We highly recommend this place as a nice date-nite spot or a place to simply unwind from the day. This is one of the best places I have ever been, so good that I went a second time the next day just to bring some friends. The ambiance is so on point, and their playlist was so good I was shazaming basically every other song. The staff is also very friendly and attentive, they seem to have real knowledge and joy in what they do. I got the hide & seek, which was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. If you come here you have to try it. I also got some oysters, which tasted fresh and came with a gingery citrusy sauce to pour over. This wine bar is super easy to miss. It's in the middle of the block, then go upstairs to the second floor. I'm not sure how but we got very lucky on timing, walking in minutes before a big line formed. The wine list is better than most wine bars. I'm used to the cheapest option being cheap for a reason, and just an unfortunate wine you can have, but that's all the good you can say about it. Their cheapest was a French Granache, and they were happy to let us sample beforehand. A fantastic wine despite being the cheapest option! With that thick black cherry flavor you look for. I had a particularly trying travel day from NC to PHX and then the drive to Flagstaff. Terroir was near my hotel so I wandered in. I had the smoked salmon bruschetta but also asked for some veggies and had a perfect meal along with 2 glasses of wine. First time in and had modest expectations but was blown away. Good wine by the glass menu and great bottle menu with wall display. Bonus was that they provide tasting by the glass. I had a special "wine of the moment" and a few pours from their regular by the glass menu, all great and reasonably priced. The cheese tray was phenomenal and the pairings were interesting. The truffled pecorino was bomb and so was the apple butter and raspberry compote. Garlic pickles were an unexpected hit. Kind of a tapas menu and I was too full for more, but want to go back to try a few other dishes and especially dessert. Great service, bartender was nice and attentive and also knew her wine. Good music playing and great atmosphere. They also have board games and a few people next to me were having fun playing. Cool idea! Kind of hidden up a flight of stairs. Came here for dessert and another glass after dinner with my sisters. Lighting was perfect we sat right by the window for a moody, cozy Christmas feel. Wine selection was 10/10 AND THEY OFFER HALF GLASS. Seriously the best ever. The cake had a fun spice to it I didn't expect and the custard was soooo smooth. I'm updating my review since I went back and tried more of the menu--the food here, while pricey, is all exceptional quality. My previous review talked about the tomato pie and mezze. I've now tried a cucumber salad and the tiramisu, and I can say that they're both also extremely fresh with well-balanced flavors. read more

Wow! How disappointing. We came here @2months ago and had a lovely time. Tonight we had basically zero service. Had to pay a corkage fee for wine we bought there to drink with our dinner after already ordering two glasses from their menu. Place was basically empty. They served our entire meal at one time versus bringing the salad first. They seemed put off that we asked for plates to use to share the multiple items we ordered. Will most likely not be back. I live in California, but visit Flagstaff at least once a month. We have come here several times, in particular because I really loved the Bolognese. It was the most delicious I'd ever had, and I was really sad to learn that it disappeared off the menu under new ownership, which is surprising because we were told it was one of their most popular dishes. We were in town for our annual three day conference that we attend for work and decided we wanted to go offsite after our evening event for some cocktails and small bites. I am the go to person for our team when it comes to choosing where to go. I picked FLG and let me tell you babyyyy we had such a fun, great time (but we are fun group, we put the P in party!!). They have an AMAZING selection of wine and small bites!! Caleb(sp?) recommended some great wines to pair with the food we ordered. We ordered 2 bottles of wine (Marietta) which was FAB and 3 glasses of white. Food wise...charcuterie board, 2 orders of meatballs, Chow mein (which was the special), risotto and tinned fish plate (only for me) as I am the only one who eats tinned fish in this particular group ...it is an acquired taste but I Am Here for All of it! Really yummy food, and great wine selection, but I don't see why you are charging a $10 corkage fee as a WINE bar. It's not much to open a bottle, I mean there's no fee to open a new bottle if anyone orders a glass of wine, and the bottle isn't open already. I figured being at a wine bar meant just paying for the bottle with complimentary opening as many high dollar eateries do here with no charge, and tip should be enough. Especially when there isn't any actual service at the table, and you have to go to the counter. I'll always tip 20% but the fee for opening rubbed me the wrong way at a place where the main theme is wine. read more

You're welcomed by the staff and they request you order at the bar, but it's open seating otherwise. It's low light and the music is loud to cover silences but quiet enough you can ease drop on the table next to you. We ordered the butternut sandwich, turkey sandwich, their respective wine pairings, the orange wine, the melon wine, lemon Creme dessert, the the port dessert wine. After all, came out to about $100; well worth it. The lemon dessert tasted like real lemon was used, not artificial or overpowering. The black bean soup that came with the butternut sandwich was also fantastic, and the French fries were of the perfect crisp. Overall, if I were local, I'd come back regularly. read more

"Are these kids yours" was the greeting first posed to my party of 3 adults and 3 kids, aged 13, 15 and 17. An older gray haired gent asked this question with some aggression. We assumed we were asked this because it was a bar and maybe kids weren't allowed inside, which we thought was reasonable and we asked him this. But no, the bartender said it was a rule that they had to ask. I should have taken this as a hint to the rest of the evening. It was dark inside and I had to view the menu with the light on my iPhone. But I had to "turn the light off my phone" as that was causing....some kind of something? This again came from the grumpy aloof older bartender behind the counter. The menu is interesting, ordered "baked eggs" which emphatically is "nothing like deviled eggs, but better." It was not better, it was a tomato based mosh of poached egg, maybe some cheese and it was flavorless. It had to be enhanced with hot sauce. The sauvy blanc was good, the charcuterie as well. Everything else was bleh To finish this review, ol' gray haired managed to work hard at convincing a pair looking for beer to instead goto a liquor store and buy from there instead. A large part of dining out is the experience, and ours was subpar. Service business counts on their employees to deliver a welcoming one, and even wine bars can share in this philosophy. Excellent food and wine (no cocktails), in a pleasant venue. Try the duck bao ... it's really delicious ... also the sticky pudding for dessert. The logistics are such that you order from the bartender and they bring you your food. Not my choice, but it was pretty efficient. You also seat yourself, and the primo seats are on the east side, with a view into San Francisco street ... they are usually full, however, and the others in the back are somewhat dark ... not terrible, but not great. Wine selection was good, but I notice the owner has installed little measuring devices on the bottles so that the bartenders don't (intentionally or not) give a too-generous "pour" ... not sure that's really needed, but so be it. After dinner we decided to continue our date and found this place during our stroll through downtown Flagstaff. It was a beautiful night, so we walked for a bit. Honestly, we were looking for dessert, but found this place instead. We were glad we stopped in. The wine selection was wonderful. We settled on a French Bordeaux - Chateau Meillier. It was really good. The bartender was really nice and offered us a variety of board games, which was a thing at this place, so we decided to play Sorry.
