Went tonight for the Christmas lights and it was beautiful. Love that they keep Christ in Christmas. The displays were beautiful. No issue with the $20 as I think it is better than many other light displays that cost as much or more. Thanks for a great night with my family!

I have been to most of the events, at the Star Barn, and it is spectacular! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. If you are looking for a wedding venue, the Star Barn is unique. get married in a vineyard, ride up on horses or an antique steam engine, get married in a restored covered bridge. It is endless to make it special and unique. I have never seen employees so helpful and pleasant, from parking your car, getting information or being served dinner. The Christmas Display is beautiful with an accent on putting Christ back in Christmas and it gets larger and better every year.

My wife and I had her wedding there last week. We first saw the star barn about 18 months ago and it was just a foundation. Mark and Jeremy gave us the tour and showed us how things were going to look. I could see it perfectly in my head but my fiancé had some concerns. Not only was the barn done on time but it far exceeded our expectations. We had the first wedding there with a 100% completed facility. Everything went off perfectly! The staff was amazing and very attentive. We received so many compliments on how well everything was handled from parking the cars to transforming our ceremony area into a cocktail hour within minutes. You will not find a nicer staff anywhere. Mark made the experience very relaxing and enjoyable. He also made sure our wedding planner Betsy Kohr had everything she needed at all times. I would highly recommend The Starbarn to anyone! It was truly a magical evening.

    Beautiful ambiance, but disappointing meal.

There are fireplaces in almost every room, unfortunately the one in our room was currently under construction but maybe next time. Our particular bedroom was called the Michelangelo Tower. Probably was the only downside because my boyfriend and myself are not particularly morning people. There's a coffee maker and water bottles available in the sitting room, at all hours of the day, which was nice. The morning we had check out they had breakfast served in each of the large dining rooms. Quiche with bacon and potatoes. Orange juice, water, hot tea and fresh coffee. All was wonderful. We visit Lancaster…read moreevery year and decided to switch gears and stop here and honestly, it was one of those why didn't we do this sooner? moments. Set on rolling Pennsylvania countryside, the views are straight out of a postcard. It's peaceful, scenic, and exactly the kind of place where time slows down (in the best way). The wine list is well thought out, approachable yet refined, with something for every palate. Nothing felt mass-produced or rushed and each pour had intention behind it. The staff deserves real credit: knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they're pouring. They guide you without the wine snob energy, which makes the experience feel relaxed and inviting, whether you're a casual sipper or a full-on wine enthusiast. This stop elevated our Lancaster trip and added a fresh layer to a tradition we already love. Grandview Vineyard isn't just a winery, it's an experience worth building into your itinerary. It doesn't necessarily look like that as you drive up. The only downfall is that there is only one restroom. The pricing seemed decent. I was super pleased that they had a small selection of mocktails. Their strawberry lemonade spritz wasn't too sweet or too tart! It was just right. My friends seemed to enjoy all the wine choices! Additionally, the crab pretzel was amazing!! The charcuterie boards looked worth it. Plenty of seating and a live band was set up around 6/630, but we left just as they were coming in. Highly recommend and would come back (even as a sober lady!).
