Drove to Bagdad today with friends and stopped here for lunch. Very neat vibe. Service was great. The owner was super friendly and answered all our questions. Friends had the combo platter and I had the green chile stacked enchiladas. They were really good. Had a hazy IPA to go with it. I would totally go back here again.

Loved this place. Was so excited to get a new spot in our small town. The menu changed slightly but nothing drastic. I go here after work sometimes but last week my order was messed up. The owner was quick to fix the problem and replace the meal free of charges which I was grateful for. I picked up my replacement order just to find a long piece of hair in one of the tacos which obviously killed it for me. I went to show them the hair and they argued saying the cooks hair is purple insinuating it was mine! I am a mixed girl with curly hair which is also in a bun since I just got off work! And as you can clearly see in the video the hair was deep in the taco! Beyond disappointed and over this entire experience. Will not be returning.

Green and red enchiladas - so yummy! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious & excellent service! If you're in Baghdad you need to stop here!

The food was amazing and the service was fabulous. We sat outside with our puppy, enjoying the weather while eating delicious food. Can't wait to come back!

First and damn we didn't get servers name -she was great. We ordered chips and salsa which looked to tomato based but it was still delicious. We also ordered the mussels w Parmesan (rich and delicious), the salmon tacos -large, the Beef and garlic, and the shisito peppers. The shishito peppers were unusual, slightly sweet and had other vegetables. The salmon tacos were a generous portion, the beef and garlic contained large pieces of garlic amongst the sauce for the chunked beef. The Parmesan mussels are quite rich and delicious. We will definitely be back.

We had a reservation and were excited to finally try it! I ordered the Chorizo Hash and it came out as a plate of ground chorizo with a very small amount of diced potatoes. I assume what happened was they batched it with other orders and mine was the end of the pan. It happens. No big deal. I asked the waiter for some additional potatoes as it was unbalanced and he started counting potatoes in my dish!!! He got up to 5 and then looked at me like I was the idiot... this is after we sat there for 20 minutes before he even took our order. We wanted to have a drink or two first, but felt compelled to order as service was slow already. We made the right call... food took a while to come. We also had Brisket Tacos, which were decent but not warm. The margarita had soda in it... a travesty. All in all the food was average but the attitude of the waiter ruined the experience. I had high expectations. We will give it a whirl again at some point and if that is pleasant, I will update this review. I just couldn't let this service slide... he was TERRIBLE.

Jeff and his team are welcoming and genuinely happy to serve their customers. Their positive attitudes are infectious. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. This was my second time here and if I were basing my review on just the first experience, I would…read moregive the establishment 4 stars, but this visit there was a disappointment in a dish and it was handled very poorly by the manager. I will start by saying it's a shame because this place has real potential! The crafted cocktails are the highlight as they are beautiful, original, and tasty. The food is good for the most part, but some items are overpriced. An example is the bisque cheesecake at $15 as it was on the small side, round about the size of a flan. It was presented nicely w berries, but not worth $15. I am from CA and not even there! The main issue I had was with the ricotta, pesto and tomato jam jar. This was more like pesto, with Ricotta. The Ricotta being listed first by any culinary standard should be the main feature. But the tapered dish had a small amount of ricotta at the bottom, about a fourth, then half the jar full of pesto, then top fourth of tomatoes.(see picture). I couldn't even dig down to get the ricotta and the huge amount of pesto was overpowering. I politely brought this to the waitresses attention by kindly saying I wanted to give some feedback and explained the expectation and that there was very little ricotta and hard to get to it. She handed me a spoon and a plate and I tried in front of her to get to it and said that's not working. She did say she would give the feedback to "them", but did not offer to replace it or fix it. Perhaps offering to bring more ricotta? For the rest of the evening she did not address the situation and I only ate two small bites and sent the entire dish back. At the end of the meal when I saw this was added to my bill, which I should add was $84 plus tip, over $100, w ricotta being $18 for just me not including the other two at the table, I asked if anything could be done about the ricotta dish that I did not eat. She said she would ask, but came back and said her manager said no because this was just my preference!! I felt sorry for the waitress. If the wait staff is not empowered to resolve these issues on their own then the manager should have come to the table! I said okay, paid the bill and left. They lost a repeat customer!! **Contrary to what management stated below, no accommodation was offered or made besides handing me a spoon and a plate. Also, the promise to discuss w mgmt was not followed up on until I received the bill and reminded the waitress which felt like avoidance, 1.5 hours after I sent the dish back. Perhaps there is a communication breakdown or misunderstanding, but my issue was the excessive amount of pesto (a sauce) and small amount of ricotta. Management prefers to argue and defend (without the facts) vs find a solution and humbly accept feedback. I am a manager myself in the luxury market...and customer feedback is at the heart of growth.

And that I was able to be seated and served immediately. The food 5/5 stars no doubt. Plating presentation was just beautiful. The steak was cooked to my request, very tender & flavorful. The potatoes were a nice mixture of crisp and soft. The scrambled eggs and the mimosa were as expected-no complaints there! As you can see the views from the dining patio are gorgeous and on one hand, I am grateful that the room service let me down so that I could truly appreciate such beautiful views while eating a delicious, hot breakfast. On the other hand, it was disappointing that I could not enjoy my breakfast from the room because no one answered the phone for at least the first hour and a half of my morning until I decided to go check out the restaurant in person. 4 stars. 2 for the great food (and views), 2 for the kind waiter and his excellent service. This review is for the totality of the experience…read more I made an advance reservation at Alma Scottsdale for a mid-sized group of 7 to celebrate a special occasion. Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.

The Vibe: This is going to be an expensive night out but your food will be amazing, if you happen to get Cesar as your host then you will be taken care of, The restaurant has this elevated rustic feel, with a wood tavern feel. There is a lots of foliage, fire, relaxing lighting , indoor and outdoor seating, and lots of charm. The Service: Cersei was our host and he was nothing short of amazing, He was attentive had questions for our questions to make sure we got the most out of our dinner. He was great with suggestions and really just made the experience that much more fulfilling. We thank you sincerely Cesar, you are a gene human being. If you are the base line of the kind of host they hire ... I could only assume all the staff reflects your hosting. The food: Well where do I start... The appetizers were the empanadas, we got the filet of beef Empanadas and they were delicious, I love making empanadas at home but I usually bake mine, most places fry them... Mariposa bakes theirs too and I was pretty stoked about it. We also got their yuca fries, and I have never had them the way Mariposa makes them they were perfectly shaped, crispy and delicious. On top of that all the sauces that came with these appetizers were delicious. Out main courses were also on point, I got the Ribeye, my wife the Filet Mignon and my Suegra got the the pork chop and the sides we chose was the squash, mushrooms and elote corn. My Ribeye was perfect mid rare with a wonderful wood fire char on it, each bite was butter and mixed with the mushrooms or corn delicious, my wife took her time on her Filet, you can tell she was enjoying every bite. My suegra finished her pork... she usually does not finish her food... this time she cleaned her plate and then some. I can also say their cocktails both virgin and alcoholic were just perfect with our meal. We ended with some desserts, I got the tres leches and my wife got the flan. They did not disappoint and I took my time with the tres leches. My wife usually only eats my tres leches and she liked this one. When we got seated we were seated outside next to their huge fire pit which had a lovely ambiance. It did get a little chilly but it was still so perfect outside. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and explained the drinks and menu. She was so sweet. We ordered these cocktails to start off our night: *Smokey Pear *1920 *Housemade Sangria Then for appetizers and entrees we ordered this: *Handmade empanadas (filet of beef) *Mejillones de chorizo *Yuca fries *Vaquero Our steaks were cooked to perfection!
