    Half eaten pecan pie.

Pies were delicious! We would definitely come back. The peacocks and koi pond were beautiful and the setting was so nice to get a little break from our drive. Staff was incredibly kind and courteous.

We stopped again to pick up a couple of slices of pie for later tonight! They have the best pies! The ladies are very friendly and friendly! We love to walk around inside as there is so much to look at!

If you get the chance to stop and just take a moment to appreciate this roadside eatery, with homemade pies baked freshly, you're in for a treat. Hidden inside this qiuant building with it's big and colorful signs to welcome travellers driving across the desert, is a respectable and friendly place. We were delighted to find inside this place, filled with wonderful Native American jewelry, art, etc as you enter through the doorway . The restaurant greets you with a pie display case in the rear where you can grab a slice or a whole pie. We were lucky to have a fresh apple pie that was just out of the oven upon arrival and Miss Angelika and Miss Annie were happy to answer any questions about the pies,as they boxed ours and since we had time to just sit and relax for a minute, it allowed our pie to cool. They suggested that we kept the lid open for the heat to escape and not sweat the crust. We ordered a cold beer and onion rings and looked around the shop, Miss Rose behind the jewelry counter was kind enough to explain some of the items in the case and shared the history of the artists. Our surprise of the backyard and it's serene and calm patio was a joy to discover too. A huge shady tree offers a great spot to sit outside and there is a pond with fishes and a peacock that gracefully wonders around. Just remember to not approach it,as it will hide and you wouldn't be able to see it roaming. Our Onion rings were just the right thing to snack on while our fresh apple pie cooled off. We certainly enjoyed our visit and look forward to coming back soon in the future. They are open 9-2 pm Mon-Thu And 9-5pm Fri-Sun. So check them out if you have time to stop and smell the pies.

Great family owned place to stop in halfway between Phoenix & Vegas. Service is friendly, attentive with a smile. Plenty of parking outside in front, inside they have a lot of authentic native American art, jewelery & pottery. Plenty of seats, clean with decor for sale. Outback there's seating on the patio, with large open space to roam around see the Peacock 's & Koi Fish. The food is perfect, fresh hot & flexible for substitution if needed. Hot coffee & sweet pies too...

Talk about a diamond in the rough! Luchia's is a hidden gem in the middle of not much that offers great food, friendly hometown service, comfortable atmosphere, and the most magical outdoor experience for any family in need of a road trip respite. This is our second time at Luchia's and it is now a tradition for us to stop here with our small children on the way to Vegas. This quaint outdoor oasis and restaurant is immediate comfort upon entering. Once you step inside you feel at home with someone to greet you and serve up some hometown cooking (including honey, Mexican food, and breakfast if desired). The food is good and it seems to be a popular spot for local folks to gather, so you know it's the place to be. The inside of Luchia's is filled with beautiful antique and unique Indian relics that have been collected throughout the years by the owner (read their adorable story in the menu); you can admire them up close and even purchase them for your own enjoyment. Don't stop by without venturing to their outdoor garden that is cleverly decorated and gives you the opportunity to feed their amazing peacocks and fish in the koi pond! The kids absolutely LOVED it (so did we)! It's the perfect place for families to get out and run around as well as make fun memories in the middle of the desert. Luchia's is well worth the stop; spend time here and enjoy the moment, it's a special place.

It's an oasis with so much to be seen. I was on a time limit so I could not stay as long as I had wished to look around thoroughly. It is a restaurant, but more like a gift shop restaurant combo. It's the first time I've seen a restaurant dining area surrounded with gift shop displays. It works! I went out back to explore a little. There is a huge beautiful koi pond. The koi came right up seeking attention and probably food. They were not shy at all. There appeared to be animal pens in the back but I didn't have time to explore as much as I'd like (I was traveling and in a schedule). I'm glad I stopped to check it out! I did not have time to sit and order food. Staff was friendly. Now that i know, I will try to make it a food stop on my next trip that way.

    Pecan pie.

A wonderful hidden gem! Homemade Pecan pie was delicious. Amber was incredibly kind and the place was very clean. Enjoyed our stroll outside and admired the peacocks,

If you are traveling from Arizona to Las Vegas and want good home cooking, stop here. Friendly service and large portions. They have anything from breakfast burritos to amazing pancakes to soup and grilled cheese to taco salads. And definitely leave room for the great baked pies cooked in house daily. And in the back you can see the most beautiful peacocks. Amazing!

On my way back to Vegas from Phoenix, I found this middle of nowhere restaurant/gift shop. Located just over 2 hours away from Phoenix. Dirt lot. Lots of parking. Put it in your GPS or you might miss it. As you enter, you walk into a shop with lots of Mexican artifacts and novelty items, for purchase. Nice walk through even if you don't buy. Going further back is the restaurant. Along the walls are glass cases with turquoise and other jewelry. There are numerous tables in the center area for dining. The staff were friendly, and greeted me upon entry. I sat myself, and they brought water and a menu. I ordered the shedded beef enchilada plate. It came out quickly. Not piping hot, but warm enough. The flavors of the enchilada, as well as the beans and rice were mild. I could've added more spice, but decided not to, since I still had another 2+ hours to Vegas. I also ordered a slice of the black walnut cream pie. It was a good size The flavor and texture was very good. I recommend it. There is a courtyard in the back of the restaurant. Their are peacocks, including an all white. There are numerous rusty antique farm vehicle that i found pretty cool. Also in the center of the courtyard is a large aerated pond with lots of Koi. The pond is thick with algae and the water is murky. I'm hoping that is not the norm. I hope it's cleaned and filtered soon. I enjoyed the food, the staff and the atmosphere. I did not enjoy the koi pond and felt sorry for the koi. I would definitely make this a stop, the next time I'm doing the Phoenix-Vegas drive. I would like to try more of their food.

We paid for the equivalent of a whole pie, but we chose pieces of pecan, apple, and chocolate cream pie. All were very good.

We've driven by this place many times, but never stopped before. We decided to stop and pick up some pie to take to our friends house in Wickenburg. They not only have pies and other food, but they have jewelry and gifts and an interesting backyard area with western style items, peacocks, and a Koi pond. It's a great place to stop and stretch your legs. We ordered the equivalent of a whole pie by ordering several pieces of pecan pie, apple, and chocolate cream pie. The pie was well received!

Once here, finding the actual cafe was a little challenging, as we first walked into the laundry room, which is part of this larger RV 'resort". Once inside, we observed an order counterand few tables (both inside and out) to the left, and a souvenir/antique shop to the right. The woman running the place was friendly, efficient, and hard working. I could have done without the immature "Let's Go Brandon" hat, but when you're in certain parts of the country, we've learned to just let that go and roll with it in silence. She was also very helpful in an antique choice I made and a really excellent cherry pie selection at the end of our meal. Gayle enjoyed a nice salad, while I relished a chile and corn bread combination. As we still had a long drive ahead of us, we deferred on the alcohol, with my lemonade hitting the spot with our meal. This is not a fancy place, but they do what they do very well. It's well worth stopping in as you pass through or are staying a spell in your RV. It's also gratifying that you can be in a remote area with limited choices, and do so well with what's available.

Talking made-to-order, HOT and FRESH lumpia. Coming from a Filipino household, where my mom can cook anything and everything under the sun, of course I am biased. We normally don't eat Filipino food outside of my family because we can just call mom up and she can cook up some lumpia, pancit, and adobo just for lunch. We were craving some home cooked food and decided to try this spot based on reviews and on our way back to California. Do not sleep on this stop! The lumpia is made to order, hot and fresh. It doesn't get any fresher. The garlic rice tasted just like home and was an incredible portion. If you come from California a five piece lumpia with garlic rice would set you back $20 minimum The quality and the feeling of having a home-cooked meal that is affordable and generously portioned cannot be beat. I've thought about the hash brown casserole for years and looked forward to satisfying my hunger for the potato casserole. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the "casserole" come to the table. Shredded potatoes?? What the heck? The waitress confirmed the recipe had changed. They were dry and unappealing. The waitress saw the displeasure on my face and asked several times if I wanted to replace them. I declined. I was really looking forward to the potato casserole. The restaurant ambience was as remembered and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My son enjoyed his food as he had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with three sides. Note the sides are much smaller as I remembered them to be. Mac n cheese was good but not the same. I guess costs and overhead are cutting into food quality.
