I love the Spring! Let me start off by saying... if you're looking for your typical western medicine practice with prescription drugs for each ailment, this is NOT it. Ali and her team use herbal supplements to get your body healthy. And, getting your body healthy takes longer than taking a pill for symptoms. If you're used to western medicine, know that a true wellness practice takes more time and isn't as instantaneous as you're likely used to. On the other hand, if you've tried everything to get healthy and you're still not feeling good, this place is for you! I was doing "all the healthy things" and still feeling poorly. Turns out, I had other things going on that I couldn't understand or resolve on my own. At least, not nearly as quickly. I'm grateful that I as referred to The Spring by a friend. I only wish I'd made an appointment when she first suggested it! I started attending The Spring for my health journey about 3 months ago, and my healing has been expedited in this time. I believe you find The Spring when you're ready for it. If you're overwhelmed and tired or trying to heal your body on your own, call The Spring and setup an appointment. Asking for help can be hard, but it's worth it! read more

The Spring offers amazing care and concern for health and well being. The atmosphere is clean and refreshing and the staff is superlative!

A year ago I came to The Spring as a last resort. My health was dwindling and I thought I was on the verge of an Autoimmune disease. I was having dizzy spells, low energy, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, my menstrual cycle, was causing all sorts of havoc and problems, resulting in heart palpitations, full body rashes, extreme cramps and bloating, & heightened emotions. I developed an abscess that required a surgical removal, that my doctor couldn't explain, which came back and I was put on strong and antibiotics, which I had a scary allergic reaction to. My lymph system was inflamed. It's clear my body was in a state of extreme inflammation and toxic overload. I had extreme eczema patches all over my body and intensified IBS symptoms. My western doctors were treating each symptom separately versus treating me as a whole. But none of the medication that they gave me healed anything or treated anything it was just a bandage approach! But I was progressively getting worse. My cholesterol was high, I was showing signs of iron deficiency. My hormone levels were being evaluated due to all the irregularities. They questioned my thyroid for some of the issues because my hair was all thinning. I was an anxious frustrated mess. When I began working with Ali, I was anxious and desperate. So I fully commit to the protocol, taking all the supplements she recommended for me. I eliminated all the foods and triggers she advised me to stay away from, and made healthy lifestyle changes according to her suggestions. To my pleasant surprise, one year later, when I had my annual physical exam everything came back within healthy and normal range! My menstrual cycle is no longer problematic. I have amazing energy and my eczema has completely vanished! My gut health is better than ever, my hair has come back, fuller, and I am balanced, and have never felt better! If you want optimum health and to take control of your own body and health, the naturopathic approach is really the only way to go! All the practitioners at The Spring really know what they're doing and are fully invested in your well-being with such empathy! I fully trust them! When I shared my results with Ali her eyes filled with tears and she hugged me with excitement for me! Thank you so much, Ali! I'm forever grateful and thankful for the amazing work you've done with me:) Much Love, Nona Gardner read more

First of all, let me just say that I had tried EVERYTHING before going to The Spring. As a child of a surgeon, I had tried everything that western medicine had to offer with poor results and horrible side effects. Finally, I skeptically walked into The Spring after multiple friends begged me to give it a try. I'm so grateful that I did. Ali and her team have given me my life back. The compassion and constant support and nurturing has been like nothing I have received in healthcare before. They have held my hand through the process and instilled me with hope from the beginning that my body could heal naturally and it HAS! My story of healing is nothing short of miraculous. Thank you so much to Ali and the wonderful humans (Ali Z, Jerika, Sofia) at The Spring for giving me my life back and being there for me through my healing journey! read more

I have been in a long-term healing process for over 4 years, involving significant gastrointestinal dysfunction from multiple parasites, long COVID, and multiple other immune and chemical stressors. Being in the medical field myself professionally, I have has extensive workups (both allopathic and functional) without significant improvement. The care provided at the Spring is beginning to make a positive difference for the first time in many years, after just over a month of treatment. All of the staff, from the providers to the office team, are phenomenal - compassionate, intelligent, and with true attention to detail. They also help me find humor when I need it in this process! I feel so grateful to have found their comprehensive care. Thank you! read more

After being in treatment in western medicine for over two years with an autoimmune disorder, I decided to drive weekly from Fort Worth to Austin this summer to see Elke. I've been in treatment with her for 4 months now and several of the symptoms I was never able to get over the previous two years have either greatly reduced, or been completely eradicated. I am so incredibly thankful for the team at the Spring Center. read more

In response, I don't give a rat's behind where she has been trained. I stand by my review.

After I moved to Austin, I had been driving three hours to Houston on a regular basis to see my naturopath there. When I was referred to Elke Kniss, I was thrilled there was a natural health practitioner locally in Austin I could start seeing. As an educated physicians assistant and certified clinical nutritionist, Elke has helped me get into some of the best health of my life...all using natural methods and no synthetic, toxic, side-effect-inducing pharmaceutical drugs! Any sort of natural and alternative treatment differs from conventional western medicine in that it does not provide an overnight fix. It has taken time and dedication to a different lifestyle than what most people in the United States live...but that effort I have put into helping heal my body, with Elke's guidance has proven to be entirely successful. Whatever symptoms you're having, I would highly recommend Elke since she helps get to the root cause of your symptoms (whether it is food stressors, toxic metals or chemicals in your body, or some sort of immune stressor). From the acupuncture-based nutrition/muscle response testing, to the hair tests for tissue mineral analysis, Elke can help you reach your health goals naturally too! read more

I cannot say enough great things about my time spent with Ali over the past 10 months. I've felt so supported both emotionally and physically from our visits and supplement recommendations. I've learned a lot, become more in-tune with my body, and feel better overall. read more

Elke helped me figure out some long-term issues that traditional medical practitioners would have just prescribed medications for (but not treated the actual cause) or may not have diagnosed. I had some food sensitivies I was unaware of as well as adrenal fatigue. Both were causing me to have very low energy levels. She also helped me detox from some heavy metals in my system that were causing low back issues. A big difference between her approach to medicine vs. other doctors is that the patient has a major role to play in improving his or her own health. Her recommendations are very specific (vs. being told to "eat better" or "exercise more") and if you follow them, you will see improvement in your health. read more

After following the nutritional guidelines I received from Elke for three months, I have seen a strong improvement in my energy level, mental calmness and ease of digestion. The office is easy to get to with good parking. Curtis at the front desk is always cheerful and professional. Working with them makes going for healthcare a pleasant and very rewarding experience. I really like getting positive results without using any kind of prescription drugs or negative side effects. read more

Love The Spring and Elke. They are very nice and really work with you to ensure you're on your way to better health. After suffering from autoimmune issues for over 2 years, I came to see Elke. I felt better in the first month after seeing her than I have in those 2 years I was sick. read more

Elke is an exceptional practitioner and a beautiful soul. I owe her my health and healing my autoimmune disease that I've been told by a regular doctor is not curable. I'm forever grateful! read more

I have been working for years to heal auto-immune and gut health issues. After many years of not making progress with traditional medicine, I did some research and started looking into holistic care to heal my body. I love that holistic healing is about supporting your body and it's natural ability to heal. The Spring Center focuses on nutrition and high quality supplements to support your body. The team of providers at the Spring Center for Natural Health are top notch, professional and extremely knowledgeable. They are also very caring and supportive which I find extremely helpful to encourage me to stay focused on caring for myself. The nutritional and supplemental protocol is individualized and for the first time in my life I feel like my gut is in better balance and that my mood has improved significantly. If you are looking for true healing with an amazing supportive group of providers definitely make an appointment with the Springs Center. Elke is an extremely knowledgeable, caring and thorough health practitioner. She identified an auto immune situation with my thyroid and recommended the supplements needed to remedy my illness. I have steadily improved. Also, her staff has always been there to assist and to help me in any way they can. read more

Thank you Elke for my wonderfully healthy children, and myself. I have seen Elke for the last 5 and she has helped me with everything from allergies to all three of my pregnancy. I am very grateful for her help and knowledge. Thank you so much. read more

I have only been seeing Elke for a little over a month and have already experienced drastic improvements on issues I had started to just accept as "the way I've always been". Elke and her team have helped regulate my hormone related issues, gut health and constant bloating, and weight gain. The most impressive thing she has helped me with is my skin. Western medicine has always told me my skin was both genetic and hormonal and offered no solution other than creams and lotions for temporary relief. Elke has helped diagnose and treat the source of the problems instead of simply prescribing me a medication to treat the symptoms. So far I am thrilled with the results in my specific issues and my overall health. My husband keeps commenting that he's never seen my skin this soft and smooth. I think he's even a believer! I am bringing my kids in to see her next. Thanks team Elke! read more

I came to Elke at the Spring after my friend highly recommended them. I had been dealing with chronic pain for over a year. I had been to numerous doctors and no one could give me relief. I met with Elke and she performed her thorough examination. Her methods are a little unorthodox and I admit I was skeptical, but I went to the appointment with an open mind. After the examination, non-invasive, she suggested that I eliminate gluten from my diet, as that is a big factor in pain and inflamation. She also suggested I take various supplements to help my gut, immune system and adrenals. She has even treated my seasonal allergies. I have to say that after just a few months I am almost entirely pain free, feel and look better and I have more energy. I would recommend the Spring Natural Medicine if you are looking for a natural alternative to western medicine. Elke and her team are very responsive and kind. This has been a huge part of my medical journey to healing. read more

Elke Kiness is in my opinion and experience an exceptional practitioner. Her particular practice of muscle testing is unlike any I have experienced before. It has been accurate, revealing and deeply helpful. Together we have worked on imbalances in my body related to Thyroid, Adrenals, the Gut, Radiation/EMF exposure, heavy metals, hormones, etc. And her testing brings up results that I had forgotten I was even dealing with i.e. for two days in a row I had a simple cough in the AM with a tad bit of a sore throat. It wasn't too intense and truthfully I had forgotten about it by the time I saw Elke the next day. Sure enough she spotted "the flu" in my body and asked if I had had any symptoms. I have also known other skeptics that needed the help but weren't too sure about this muscle testing methodology. They too walked away quite amazed at what she was able to distinguish in their bodies. For me personally, I would be considered one of those more sensitive body types - and I respond quickly to anything I try. I've been in the world of wellness myself for many years and have troubled shooted so much on my own with some success and some frustration. But my inner insights combined with Elke's patience, perseverance and creative approaches has truly helped me bring my body back into balance. One of the biggest variables impacting my health was radiation. I worked in a corporate setting in a job I loved for 3 years but the EMF exposure was just to much for my body and offset the natural rhythms of my nervous system. My work with Elke in combination with doing a lot of daily "Earthing" and spiritual work has been like pressing the reset button on my health. I am deeply grateful for her support, her care, her knowledge, expertise and spirit. In fact, my whole family goes to her now on occasion when a tune up is needed - including my 6 year old nephew. Yes, she helps kids too! :) read more
