I have never had a doctor spend more time with me. He is very knowledgeable in both holistic and conventional medicine. I find this combination very important. He has also educated me on different aspects of my health including the value of different types of blood tests, diet and exercise. Anyone looking for a more personalized approach to their healthcare I would start here.

Dr. Fleming has told me to take something that wound up making my initial symptoms worse, only for Dr. Jean to tell me that the medication he told me to take would make those symptoms worse. Their communication in recent months has been lacking. They do take time with you when they see you, but Dr. Fleming just reads results to you for bloodwork as he gets it during your appointment. There's just something not as good anymore as when I only occasionally went before the membership fees started. It's too cost prohibitive and I told Dr. Jean about something delicate that was causing me pain and she said not to do that, but it was something essential. I went to other doctors to help with that issue instead, although Morningstar says that they have these services under one roof. Respectfully, they need to tighten back up in a lot of areas. Admit when you're not sure instead of give unhelpful answers that leave the patient feeling unheard. Refer your patients elsewhere when necessary. Communication amongst staff has also been weak. One tells you that Dr. Jean does pelvic exams, but her answers to pelvic pain aren't there. She doesn't know and doesn't make any move to refer you or do an exam. There are other napro doctors around. Staff also has said numerous times that so and so would respond in x timeframe and it's always something where I feel like I'm chasing down answers whereas they say how they take your membership fee so they can serve you better. It's not better.

I stopped taking the pharmaceuticals that are meant to be taken until death and offered no hope for recovery. Eventually, I decided to visit Elaine and take a different path. Elaine noticed my positive Lyme tests and she said let's go after that first. We did. It's a long road but there is improvement and hope. Elaine takes the time, listens and makes appropriate suggestions. I recommend Elaine and her team at Holistic family healthcare without reservation. Randa and Lee in the office handle everything else professionally and with aplomb. I actually look forward to a doctor visit. And get information that I wouldn't at the typical doctors office. Thank you Elaine.

Of all the reviews I have written over the last few years, this is probably the most important to…read moreme. Elaine hardy, MS, RN, APN, C; is not just an amazing medical professional, she is one of those caring and intuitive physicians from a bygone era. It used to be when you walked into a doctor's office, they had more than HMO training, more than just the ability to follow HMO rules and regulations, there used to be doctors who actually had knowledge and were intuitive about your body and condition. You will find this once again Elaine. Over eight years ago, after having gone to a myriad of doctors and specialist, all of which were baffled by my condition, it was Elaine who was finally able to pin-point my issues and begin to help me work through them. By the time I had reached her, I was in fairly bad shape, unable to walk on my own and had a lump in my breast, most doctors were penciling in the death certificate but Elaine took a far more positive approach. She worked with my family to help us develop a treatment protocol which centered around my desire to stay as holistic as possible. She was sensitive to my desire to treat the cancer holistically and supported my decision, even though at times, I knew she was concerned. Elaine did not lecture me or try to force me into anything I was not comfortable in doing. Instead, she would lay out the options to my family and allowed us to make the decision that best suited my body. Elaine then supported us throughout our chosen treatment protocol. I still have clean cancer numbers 4 1/2 years after having a 3 1/2 pound, triple-negative tumor removed in a mastectomy. When most doctors didn't think I'd make it off the surgery table, Elaine stayed supportive of our family. In the end, I survived the cancer. I am still dealing with the severe neurological disease that put me in a wheelchair as a paraplegic but even in what seems like a dead-end condition, we are seeing small steps forward. Elaine worked with all my illnesses from the beginning, helping me to find ways to deal with the pain, looking for new treatment methods when the old ones weren't working and giving me hope for the future. She never gives up on you, she just keeps on working to find the answers. Her knowledge is amazing and she is willing to think 'outside the box' in trying to find the root cause of your issues instead of treating symptoms, something that is difficult to find in the medial field these days. She looks for the layers that so often are involved in illness instead of a short-cut version that usually keeps one feeling...just good enough, instead of great! After seeing literally dozens of specialist, I have never met another medical professional that I hold in as high of esteem as I do Elaine. No matter where we are in the country, we find our way back to Elaine. It is because of her knowledge and support in helping us deal and work through both the cancer and the neurological issues that I am here to write this recommendation right now. If you are seeking a qualified and caring Holistic Professional, look no further. You will not be disappointed in Elaine Hardy.

She recommended some supplements but also suggested getting bloodwork to see if there were any underlying issues. My PCP didn't like some of my labs and long story short-- I found out I was iron deficient and got an iron infusion. About a week after doing so I was soooooo sick- was an hospitalized for a night, couldn't work for 5 months bc I couldn't walk or do anything for myself. My joints had just shut down on me and doctors could not figure out what was going on. I uktimately got diagnosed with some catch-all autoimmune disease and was prescribed meds (harsh meds with sever implications) to "see how they work". Yea- no thanks. So I went back to Dr Nayak and was like ummm I got a problem. She rolled up her sleeves and got to work. Consulted with her colleagues to see if they could understand my labs and symptoms and then prescribed numerous supplements, diet changes, and other modals. She asked me to give her 3 months before trying the prescribed meds. I committed and was feeling better within 6 weeks. I can't thank her enough for helping me get through a difficult time. She prepared me for what recovery would look like and was spot on in each of her assumptions. I learn something new in each of our appointments and I really appreciate her holistic approach to healing and wellness. Whenever I speak to someone and they start talking about any health issues they're dealing with I refer her practice before they can finish their sentence.
