There have been no consequences or side effects. She is personable and delightful as well. Actually I showed her another issue I was having which she diagnosed immediately and I was able to get care the same day with a professional that treats the issue I was experiencing. On another matter: Her office staff called me twice to make sure I received the result of an mri I had. Dr. Iones followed up to make sure that I was seeing a doctor for an issue that appeared on the mri. I highly recommend Dr. Iones if you need a neurologist as I have been to three others over the years and none compare on any level.

She was extremely patient and she took the time to listen and understood all that was going on with me. She explained everything that was being recommended, and the reason for it, and every bit of it made sense. Her staff is wonderful, from the receptionists, to the folks that conducted the on-site testing. I am so happy that I found her. Now, I am very confident that my on-going health issues will be properly identified and treated. Thank you, Dr Iones!

My experience with Dr. Jeffrey Gould was horrendous. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!! My orthopedic surgeon…read morewanted me to see a neurologist for the severe range-of-motion loss in both of my knees. The cause of that problem was later diagnosed by a distinguished professor at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. Per the Penn professor's diagnosis, my body had a severe and unusual reaction to the Moderna COVID vaccination. That reaction, confirmed by blood tests, caused the buildup of scar tissue in both of my knees. The scar tissue created by the Moderna vaccine was the source of my problem. But I didn't know that when I went to see Dr. Gould. At the end of my one and only appointment with Dr. Gould, he told me that the cause of my knee contracture was 100% neurological. He was 100% WRONG. The proof of this is the excellent progress I've made following the treatment prescribed by my Penn physician: use ONLY physical therapy to straighten my knees and walk again. In just 6 months I've progressed from being completely wheelchair-bound; to standing with support; to walking with a walker; and now to walking a short distance without assistance. I still have a ways to go before I can resume normal walking and running, but I'm well on my way. Dr. Gould's "diagnosis" was hilariously wrong. What is NOT hilarious is that he may be steering other patients wrong as well. Dr. Gould also told me, after just one forty-minute exam in his office, that I may have ALS. Thank heavens he was wrong. But what kind of doctor tells you that you may have a fatal and incurable disease unless he is virtually certain he's correct?!?!!? An incompetent and uncaring one. At my exam Dr. Gould concluded that I have neuropathy in both feet. That particular diagnosis was absolutely correct. However: (1) I've had neuropathy in both feet for about 8 years BEFORE I saw Dr. Gould, and it never stopped me from walking or running. Nor has it worsened one iota since I originally developed it. I explained that to Dr. Gould and he totally ignored it. (2) The neuropathy in my feet has NOTHING to do with my knee range-of-motion problem. That fact was confirmed by a neurologist I saw at Abington Hospital two months after I saw Dr. Gould. The Abington neurologist also confirmed that I definitely do not have ALS. (3) Dr. Gould ordered an lab test, which I foolishly took. I was rattled by his phony ALS "diagnosis" so I took the lab test. The lab test cost over six thousand dollars!!!!! The lab test confirmed the neuropathy in my feet but was totally useless in diagnosing my range-of-motion problem. The information provided by the test merely confirmed something I'd known for at least 8 years; namely that I have a medical condition which hasn't worsened since I developed it. In other words, I was given a $6,000 bill, by Doylestown Hospital for totally useless information. I'm one of the lucky ones because I was able to see two physicians (the ones at Penn and Abington) who set me on the right path, and I was eventually able to get the treatment I needed. But "forewarned is forearmed" so please consider yourself forewarned about both Dr. Gould and Doylestown Hospital.

When I arrived I was told I was a "no show" because my appt was at 1:20 when I had written down on 2 different calendars that it was 1:40. I believe the receptionist put me in the wrong slot. Almost in tears, I expressed how long I've waited, how much pain I've been in and that it would be impossible for me to leave work again. I was told to wait and sat for over 30 mins to be told Dr. Khoury wouldn't see me. But "the good news was they wouldn't charge me for a no show fee!!" Unbelievable! I refused to make another appt with a doctor who would handle a matter like this and care so little about a new and scared patient. I had neber been more upset and dissapointed in a doctors office. The next day at work a co-worker told me she had waited almost 2 hours for him while he saw patients at the hopsital. I prefer the St. Mary's location.
