Dr Purewal and staff do their best to find the root of the pain and treat that problem. It's been hard work on my part but so well worth it. The one person who was rude and thought she was more important than the doctor treated me badly because I didn't have change or a credit card. Over the past year I have gotten to know Dr. Purewall. What he specializes in (spinal implant surgery) is the last stop for a lot of pain sufferers and he knows it. He doesn't tell you that your chronic pain will disappear and that's what I would prefer to hear. I have lived through it all, epidurals, laminectomy, nerve blocks etc. My back is a real mess and we both know it, so there is no gold at the end of the rainbow; but it takes a while to get to know him and above all he's a wonderful, experienced surgeon and I have seen a heartwarming side of him as well. read more

Dr. Salvage is wonderful and a great doctor. i took my mom to the office on the boulevard. i got there and the girl at the desk don't know her name ( Hispanic) said she owed a 40.00 co pay. i only had 100.00 on me she said she didn't have change. i told her i didn't either and i didn't have a card. asked her to bill me. she said we don't do that. i asked her what would she like me to do. she said get change. very rude nasty unprofessional for a front desk person. a lady in the waiting area gave me change as i said she was a rude b--ch. she wanted to cancel my mom's appointment. she then turned and said to me that i was a f---ing b--ch. i have worked in the medical field for 21 years also worked with Dr salvage. and if i every spoke with anyone like that i would be out of a job. she needs to be fired. this office lost my sister as a patient cause that same girl did the same thing with her and they lost my mom and i will make sure that everyone i know will know what a terrible office that place is. cause when i told the girl doc we saw she said she doesn't get involved. that's a great way to treat your patients. so if your thinking of going there . think twice and DON'T GO. Ahhhhh! I'm posting this review for the Havertown PA office but it's a universal complaint though because it's regarding their phone system. I have called them 4x this week and after being on terminal hold each time I got to number two caller it disconnected me!!! I'm in pain and trying to talk to my doctor and it's so aggravatingly maddening. PLEASE FIX YOUR DAMN PHONE SYSTEM!!! read more
