For unforeseen personal circumstances I had to cancel my membership, not even 18 hours after I had signed up. Sent them an email explaining I had to cancel for now but hopefully will resume in the future. And they are charging me $150 cancellation fee. No sympathy to personal circumstances, just claiming it's for administrative purposes. I can understand if they have already processed my application, or have offered me some of their services, but none of that had happened. I had literally signed up around 3pm on a Tuesday and emailed them about cancellation at 8am on Wednesday. They've been so difficult to deal with, kept repeating the fact that they have a $150 cancellation fee without any empathy or rationale for the fee. It is quiet shocking to experience this level of customer service in today's society when customer service is crucial to a business reputation. But they seem to not care. I would stay away!

Since then Dr. Jacobs has done a fantastic job of going above, and beyond your average chiropractor to improve my body, and have less pain. Nancy takes the time and care to sit down, and explain how you can actually improve your life, and have less or no pain. Nancy teaches and demonstrates methods such as: how to improve posture, ergonomic devices, nutrition, exercises/stretching, and a lot more. I was rear ended by a 24 foot truck, sustaining serious whiplash. Afterward, my entire body was inflamed, I had trouble standing and walking for too long. I had constant migraines, my thoracic (middle back) was in constant pain, and I could barely turn my neck in any direction. My MRIs revealed that I had several herniated discs throughout my cervical (neck), one herniated disc in my lumbar (lower back). And an EMG test revealed I had a pinched nerve in my thoracic area, and in the right side of my neck. The prescriptions prescribed by my Pain Doctors only disguised the pain, and had terrible side effects. Physical Therapy was not helping much, and there were so many people at their office, there was attention, and all they cared about was billing my insurance. I saw several spine specialists, and all they wanted to do was give me an injection/epidural of steroids. I found Park Ave Chiropractic on the internet when seeking a more holistic natural way to helping my pain. Within the first visit Dr. Jacobs did just so, to help guide me in a more holistic route to be pain free. Nancy's neck adjustments quickly helped alleviate my migraines, and improve my neck pain. Nancy recommended the herbal supplement "Inflammatone," a natural anti-inflammatory supplement to take; instead of advil or prescription anti-inflammatories which can cause stomach/liver and other serious problems when taken too much. The inflammatone not only reduced my inflammation but improved my digestion, which is associated with back pain. In time I found that her techniques used on my thoracic was the only thing that would help the pain. And now, I barely ever have pain in that area. My neck pain has improved a remarkably. One tool Nancy utilizes that I've become a huge fan of, after it saved me from getting surgery is Cold Laser. Unrelated to my car accident, I had an infection on the outer area of my naval (belly button), my MD put me on Levaquin, which I soon found out...I was allergic to. After ridding the Levaquin out of my system, my MD put me on another anti-biotic, and said that if it didn't work I would have to have a surgeon remove the infection...that anti-biotic didn't work! After sharing this with Nancy, she suggested we try Cold laser therapy on the infection...within a month the infection was gone. No surgery for me! Lastly, Nancy is an expert nutritionist.
