I loved all the special honey blends too as that's my go to in my tea. The staff was great and helped me figure out the type of tea I would enjoy.

Parking seems like it would be nonexistent on a busy day. I was there at noon on a Sunday. I like how they straight up turned a house into a shop. I like how it was so peaceful inside and outside. I like their event schedule. I like the focus on books. I like the ultra fast wifi and nice pastries. What I'm no fan of is the very obvious target market of moms, leaving me feel a bit left out. Steep Right Up creates their own tea blends and sells local products (like cookies!). Samples are provided on longer days (e.g. Thurs/Fri). and at some events. There were no brewed tea samples on the day we visited, but we did receive delicious shortbread cookie samples. The shop has tables in the middle and tea blends for sale on the left and right sides of the shop. The tea products are organized well and available in various sizes. Sample containers are next to the blends if you want to smell them. These canisters also have the tea prices on them (since the individual bags are not labelled). I decided on the chocolate sampler ($25). The chocolate pu'er tea paired well with the matcha shortbread cookie ($5). Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this shop to others!

Hey, we're in the south right? They offered a slight discount on their smaller size, but even their large size was not a huge cup or anything. I got moderate but not excessive ice. The cornbread was one of the weirder matcha combos I've ever tried (and I've been around the block a few times with this stuff), but I have to say it worked. Their syrup had little bits of what were clearly real corn kernels and was just sweet enough to make for an intriguing experience. I'm a little peeved when I get charged as if I'm sitting down at a cafe with free wifi and a clean restroom and all I get is a cup from a takeout window, but if these guys ever do open a brick and mortar I'll probably give it a try.

The espresso was just right and balanced out the sweetness of the honey and toffee. The baristas were all so friendly and kind. The pastries looked amazing as well but I didn't grab anything this time. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely try something else! My friend got a cold brew with a splash of coconut and it was also really nice and mellow. The price was super affordable! The upstairs is really cool. It looks like a nice place to study and relax. It's nestled in between many other shops on White. It's spacious with several tables and chairs, a great place to meet a friend, read a book or get some work done. They have outdoor seating as well. The service is great, everyone is friendly and excited to help. They have several options: coffee, teas, matcha, hot chocolate, smoothies, frappes and a variety of pastries. This location is connected to a medical office/building and has plenty of free parking. There's a few tables and chairs for outside seating and a more open concept for indoor seating including bar stools. This is a great location for quiet remote work. I've yet to see much socializing at this location but others definitely have that vibe. I love how they have various seasonal offerings each month. The syrups are homemade and not overly sweet. And they offer several nondairy options including macadamia milk. Service is always friendly and prompt. Definitely a part of my regular rotation.
