Linda R and Erin W's reviews were right on the money. Moved here from Texas and put my boxed belongings and furniture in storage. Didn't take long to find a home to buy and found The Specialists online. About 5 weeks out from my move-in date, I called and after a little negotiating about the size of the project and how many trucks would be needed, I got a rough estimate and we scheduled it. Shawn and his crew of 3, including a brother, showed up at the storage unit on time and fully prepared. The move took all day, but no more than estimated. They were fun to be around, congenial, hard-working, attentive, careful to protect my stuff and the home during the move. Dealt efficiently with every challenge and request made of them--ie., put together a king bed frame, helped put together a new big screen TV, a sectional couch, carefully tricked an elliptical through a narrow door, and never complained, even though it got into the upper 90s that day. This was the first time I had every used movers and it was a fantastic experience!!! Shawn and Deena have a full service company at very reasonable prices. Shawn and crew does the moving and Deena and crew does the move-out cleanup. We could have never done this without them. Mind you we had SOOOO much stuff that moving just the furniture and garage stuff took a very hard 11 hour day. The moving crew is a well-oiled machine with a plan and treated our stuff as their own and had the equipment to move a couple really difficult items -- a piano and a gun safe. And they have tunes running all day which was a hoot. Deena and crew were a godsend with the final day clean up. Fast, efficient and thorough. I can't say enough good things about these guys in this small space!! I found them based on a Google search and this was the company that had the best reviews so I called. Shawn was able to get me scheduled on short notice and was very helpful letting me know what size of truck I would need. He and his brother showed up on time to the minute and started working. I had stairs at both locations but they trudged on. They put everything in my new place exactly where I wanted it and even put both the beds together. I would highly recommend looking no further than this company if you need any kind of moving services. I will use them anytime I need them for life!! Oh and GREAT personalities too!! The Specialists came very highly recommended by our neighbors. Our crew included the owner, Shawn, and Scott, and Jeff. They handled our move beautifully and worked quickly. Their deep experienced was evident. They were efficient, careful, smart, very attentive to our needs, pleasant and, in fact, fun to work with. We would not hesitate to recommend them. The Specialists also provides a cleaning service. The day we turned over the keys, Deena and Amy cleaned the entire house and all the appliances top to bottom. They were friendly and understanding of our stress. We felt they took very good care of us. More importantly, when the buyer took possession, she said the house was "sparkling" clean. read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about my experience with the Specialists. Don't bother with anyone else. These guys are top notch. Shawn and his brother, Scott, moved our stuff to a storage unit and packed it exquisitely. They left aisles for easy access and did everything with great care and professionalism. Moving can be chaotic but these men made it enjoyable. I was blown away. There is nothing they can't do. We hired them to carefully pack and combine possessions from an apartment and a condo, then with us following, drove 3,200 miles across the country - a six day journey. We have used The Specialists twice for moving & they are excellent! Our first move was a big one, we had a lot of stuff, a portion of it wasn't even packed yet. The guys jumped right in, started packing and got me out of my house by the deadline. They work really hard and are friendly, fast and efficient. We had a wonderful experience with these guys. They were there right on time, they had all the equipment needed and they were ready to work. They moved us in about 7 hours and they worked incredibly hard the entire time. On top of that they were friendly, knowledgeable and super patient with my very curious 7 year old. They were mindful of packing the baby's crib last and getting it off the truck quickly so she could take her nap. These guys are awesome! Very fast, professional and friendly. They even helped us put up our beds and actually asked exactly where we wanted our furniture placed in every room. Nothing was scratched or broken and they obviously didn't "milk" the time as other movers have that we've worked with in the past. Would highly recommend Shawn and his team. Great job!!! We were so impressed with how efficient they were. They were very careful with everything (wrapped everything). They put down runners, so even though it was raining and nasty outside, everything stayed nice and dry and clean. Very friendly guys with a great work ethic!!
