The jazz was incredible and the show flew by! The 3.5 grahams was such a fun drink! The graham cracker-infused rum with the banana liquor was right up my alley! You can never go wrong with a French 75 too! The pretzel poppers are addicting and I love the peppers in the hummus! I totally recommending stopping by for a show & a great night!

The room is a bit dark and the small candle on each table is definitely not enough light to read the menu. Make sure you have your phone for light. I am Deaf but my girlfriend loves jazz so I like to take her to places she's never been before. She loved the music so that was great! We ordered the hummus and they gave you plenty of it. I ordered the octopus and for $28 it was definitely not worth it nor was it delicious. They give you two small pieces. If I knew that I would have never ordered it. Plus it was not cooked properly. Octopus is my favorite food and I have many years of experience ordering it and cooking it myself. This was very disappointing. The one woman server did a good job managing about 10 couples herself. I would return but I would think twice about ordering dinner here.

Once he realized it was actually a brewery, he was all in! The brewery has a great atmosphere, and the bartender was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Since we've been visiting several breweries during our getaway, they even gave us a Seventh Son passport, which was a nice surprise and a fun way to continue exploring the local brewery scene. I ordered the Wild & Sour flight and really enjoyed it. It was a great way to sample a variety of unique flavors, and each pour showcased the creativity and quality that Antiques on High is known for. Between the excellent beer selection, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely a brewery I'd recommend to anyone visiting the area. Looking forward to stopping back again!

Really cozy with table seating. The door to the balcony was open to let in fresh air. I would def. come back to have a drink in the downstairs area as well. Nice bartender, good wine. I was also happy to grab a parking spot on the street right out front. Lucky girl.

TLDR; had to dispute fraudulent activity because staff didn't return my credit card in a timely…read moremanner and supposedly proceeded to leave it sitting on the bar for public access even though I had already walked away. For clarity, this was my first time at this bar, so I was unsure of their usual practices. Female bartender took my initial order and provided drinks. I gave her my card and indicted I wanted to keep my tab open, she processed it on the terminal, I received a notification of the charge, and waited a few minutes before not receiving my card back before she went to make another customer's drinks. I didn't question this because some bars still keep cards for open tabs, so no problem right? Nope! Went back up over an hour later to order another drink; male bartender couldn't find my open tab. After finally going back and forth a couple times, he located my card then blamed me for leaving my card on the bar. I tried to explain I never received it back after keeping my tab open and he said "I don't have time to argue" then proceeded to just walk away. At that time, I also ordered 2 waters, and he said "water is at the end of the bar". Sir, if you are too lazy to ensure your patrons are not too drunk, especially when someone is specifically asking for water to help out other patrons, then you should not be a bartender nor be working anywhere in customer service. As someone with bartending experience, I always tip well to fellow bartenders, but that interaction immediately put it to 0 due to the sheer audacity that bartender had towards his patron. Anyway, the fraudulent activity comes in because between my initial drink order and my second drink order, there was another charge that occurred when my card was apparently left on the bar for anyone to grab. The fraudulent charge was over 20 minutes after my initial charge. The really interesting thing is that I was actually able to get my card back after this whole debacle, which means after the fraudulent purchase the bartenders finally decided to pick my card up and store it safely. I already contacted my credit card company to cancel the fraudulent transaction and replace my card, but I will be contacting the bar tomorrow to further investigate these circumstances. This clearly raises the concern that the bartenders are untrustworthy, primarily because I believe the only reason they would have been able to hold my card after the fraudulent charge is if they had used it themselves and assumed I was too drunk/oblivious to notice any extra charges and figured I would think I bought them myself. This is obviously hypothesis, but I doubt anyone stupid enough to use someone else's credit card would be smart enough to also leave it sitting on the bar so they don't get caught.

The bartenders clearly care about the drinks, and it shows in the freshness of their ingredients, how they pour, and even the pre-chilled drinkware. Every drink is made with intention, and even when I order a "classic", it's clear it's made with attention to detail. All of this while being on-par or cheaper with most of the Short North bars. Astoundingly cheaper than any of the rooftop locales. Seating is plentiful. You order at the bar and take your drink to sit wherever you'd like. Most of the seating/decor looks like it's from IKEA, but it's clean, modern, and comfy, and it's great for enjoying your drinks as you converse with friends. Denmark's vibe is very heavily "enjoyed high-end, balanced flavors in the company with friends and people you love to talk to". This is not a place to come to "pregame" for later activities. If you're on your own adventure, they have a small bookshelf full of cocktail nerdery (not just recipe books) including balance points for temperature and ice for perfect cocktail flavors. There's some really cool cocktail knowledge books to read here. It can feel a bit pretentious, but if you want balanced, unique flavors (no sugar bombs here) made by people who treat cocktail crafting like an art, Denmark is one of the few places in town you can find it.
