My absolute favorite is their fresh Antipasto Salad and warm Ciabatta bread. I highly recommend ordering a side of their scampi butter for the bread. Yum! This visit, I had the Baked RigaTony, and my daughter ordered the Deep Dish Lasagna with marinara sauce. Both dishes were excellent--hot, flavorful, and generously portioned. They also have great weekday lunch specials. The Chicken Cutlet Picatta is another favorite of mine. Great food, friendly service, and a restaurant that's been a longtime favorite of mine. We had bacon dates to start. These were tasty but not quite like we imagined. They were sweet and salty which was great. The blue cheese stuffing didn't quite jump out like we expected. For wine, my wife likes sweet wine. She tried the Riesling first, then the Moscato. Moscato was hands down her winner, it was sweeter. For me, I tried the Murphy Goode red blend and I enjoyed it a lot. Good balance, complexity, and smoothness. For the main course my wife had the Pasta Bolognese. It came with rigatoni noodles. The sauce was nice and thick and coated the noodles really well. It had a big robust flavor but wasn't overpowering. I had the Chicken Saltimbocca. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my preference due to what tasted like a bit of balsamic, but I still enjoyed it. The chicken was well cooked and tender. We tried a cannoli for dessert. The thing was huge! Shell was thick and crunchy. Filling was moderately sweet with a subtle brightness to it (like a touch of lemon). Ends were dipped in chopped pistachio.

Service was great, I got the Limoncello Spritz and it was great! The calamari was okay not bad but would say amazing, definitely good enough to get your fix. The pasta was good the meat balls were good. But the mushroom truffle sauce was the highlight not to creamy not to mushroom forward but full of flavor. Definitely can see why this place was recommended.

I was hoping for better. Sandwich shops are many, but I like a decent sandwich…read more $20 for a half sandwich combo with drink. Oh I thought that was extremely expensive but the combo happens to be soup. Okay so I got the clam chowder. And what sounded like a delightful sandwich. Soup came in a bread bowl and I don't understand the purpose of the bread bowl. Maybe a half a cup to a cup of soup and a big wad of flavorless bread I don't understand its purpose... Maybe a bite of the bread and throw it away. The sandwich was a smokehouse on a focaccia was probably not over an inch thick. It sounded great but there was so little on it all I could taste was the mustard sauce. $20 it's too much to pay for a dinky sandwich and soup. Sorry, I won't make that mistake again. And yes of course I tipped, throwing three bucks in the jar. She told me I could get it without the bread bowl next time. What are you paying $20 for?

What We Ordered: - Antipasto Salad: the pinwheels of meat and cheese were a nice touch! My friend enjoyed this salad and loved that it included a hard-boiled egg. - Bruschetta Pomodoro: Overall, this is decent but I think it could benefit from a balsamic glaze on top. They do have balsamic vinegar on the table if you want to use it. - Chicken Marsala: I missed in the menu this comes with pasta marinara, or I would ask to substitute as I find it perplexing to mingle the Marsala sauce with marinara. I wish it was served over noodles, so you enjoy the Marsala sauce on it. Or even served with vegetables. - Masi 'Bonacosta' Wine: a great red if you are looking for a nice wine to go with your meal! Our server Sebastian was very friendly, and we appreciated the wine suggestion as it was a great glass. We also loved taking in the decor while we were waiting for our starters and mains. Very cute and rustic Italian charm. I would return, but either modify the Chicken Marsala or get a different dish.
