We waited for 20 minutes past our reservation before we were seated in the noisier main room. Our waitstaff Tanner was a 12/10 - superb! Highlights included that once order was correctly received, it was executed well. Downside was that my husband's filet was seasoned when he asked no seasoning; salad came out with dressing on the side instead of having the kitchen lightly dress it. But once it was correct (2 hours past our reservation time) it was fabulous. Mushroom gratinee was delicious. Cesar salad was crisp and perfectly seasoned when lightly dressed. Originally my husband's filet was seasoned and over salted but 2nd chance was perfect. Asparagus was delicious. Dessert was comped and was great. Here's where they could improve: Ambience - the main room has no theme and is noisy. There are beautiful pictures of Center Hill Lake and they should capitalize on that. The room is noisy. Perhaps some artificial barriers of plants could improve. The use of "to go" serving dishes makes it feel less fine dining. They say they are a wine bar but have a very limited selection. They could easily expand their selection and become a true wine bar. We would go back and look forward to trying Ace's again.

Such a cool touch. Our server Ben was outstanding. It was our first visit and he spent time walking us through the menu and helping us decide. He was funny, attentive, and every recommendation he gave us was spot on. The carpaccio appetizer was amazing -- presented traditionally and then mixed tableside into perfectly balanced bite-sized pieces. It was both beautiful and delicious. Both of our filets were cooked perfectly, and dessert was a highlight. The warm peanut jelly & butter cake is a must-order. Truly one of the best meals and service experiences we've had. Highly recommend.

Had to wait in the bar for a few so we each had the Smokeshow Old Fashioned, very nice. Once seated we were served by Taylor, who did an outstanding job of timing & delivery. Started with a salmon amuse-bouche then shared Dry Age Beef Carpaccio & Yellowfin Tuna Crudo - very tasty. Brother went for the "John Wayne Cut" Ribeye while I have very little experience with Wagyu so went for the BMS 10 Zabuton filet Oscared, sides crispy Brussels, Pommes Aligot & chef provided broccoli rabe. Brother confirmed the rib eye was outstanding, I felt the filet was tasty but a bit chewy. All in all a great meal will be back
