I was under Dr. Fairley's care for 3 months for a shoulder injury and chronic pain. Because of his knowledge and skill, I am pleased to report that I am now pain free and have regained almost all of my range of motion. Most importantly, I was able to avoid shoulder surgery, which I had previously thought was my only option. Dr. Fairely has extensive knowledge and an intuitive understanding of how joints and muscles interact with each other. During my 3 month process of healing, he administered a wide range of mobility and flexibility tests on my left shoulder. Some of these tests revealed a complete lack of motion in certain directions that even I was unaware of. Based on these tests, Dr. Fairely was able to pinpoint the muscles and joints responsible for the pain and lack of motion. Using A.R.T. (active release techniques), he manipulated the muscles to a point where I could perform each mobility test without pain. This, combined with shoulder joint adjustments, was the key to my rehabilitation. Dr. Fairely displays a quiet determination in finding the source of the problem. He refused to give up even when I had, and kept trying different things until I could pass all the shoulder mobility tests he could think of. Being a science teacher, I was curious to know his thought process when finding a solution and he was more than happy to share his logic. He even taught me a few exercises to strengthen and stabilize my rotator cuff. I highly recommend Dr. Fairely for shoulder injuries. It is worth your while to see him before you consider invasive shoulder surgery. I credit him with being able to return to my active lifestyle and sports that I had to give up for months at a time because of my shoulder pain. I am an older adult who went to Source Chiropractic with knee pain and shoulder pain. They did a comprehensive assessment and explained to me the source of my recurring shoulder pain which I have had for many years. I really was unable to use my shoulder without pain. Also I couldn't walk or hike without knee pain. I had seen an orthopedic specialist and physical therapists, none of whom were able to help me with either my shoulder or knee pain. After about three months of adjustments and doing prescribed stretching and strengthening exercises, my knee pain and shoulder are practically gone. I can garden and hike and walk again. I started working a few doors down from the source about a year ago. I kept hearing about these guys from people in the neighborhood and decided I would make an appointment more out of curiosity as I didn't have a specific injury or illness that I thought needed attention- boy was I in for a surprise. The first few weeks were pretty intense. Each adjustment felt like it was bringing suppressed emotions to the surface. It had been along time since I had felt so raw and it gave me an opportunity to really work through a lot of things I had been holding onto. I love the Source! I stand straight, I'm way more flexible, my hip flexor gets the attention it deserves as I abuse my body by bending and crouching while gardening. I've been given great exercises for my hips and my arms. Now my tingling hands are very infrequent. I started with their program of 3 times a week, then 2, then 1. for 6 months. I highly recommend it. Mine is a 73 year old body that hadn't stood up straight for eons. I'm able to keep working now. (it's good cause I can't afford to retire) I'm going for a tuneup every other week. I really like how the Docs offer each other suggestions about a specific problem. I came to Jordan with pain in my upper back that made it very hard to do any exercise other than squatting. I couldn't even bike anymore because holding up my head became to painful. Jordan diagnosed me and after a few sessions (and laying low) the pain went away. We then started work on my left shoulder where I had reduced mobility. It was less problematic, but takes more time. Jordan gave me a couple of exercises that I'm moderately diligent at doing regularly, and I'm happy report that the mobility is slowly but surely coming back. read more

Its funny how Yelp always reminds you to leave reviews and so I finally have a chance to write a review about Dr. J and his impressive skill set and knowledge of chiropractic care. Its amazing how often I go to an office when I'm out of town and find someone who doesn't know how to adjust my spine. Yes I understand that not everyone is created equal, but I think that the doctor should be the one to understand that more than me and they should know how to take care of every type of body rather than trying to pull me into the only way they know how to help people which may not work for my particular body. Dr. J is by far the very best chiropractor in this area and it takes one to visit many others in order to make such an assessment so if your in pain and wondering where you can go to get out of pain quickly, give Dr. J a shot and you'll end up finding yourself a new chiropractor. Sometimes, it seems like going to an older doctor is the best way because they are more experienced, but in reality, most of the older doctors are stuck in their ways and I don't know about you, but I'm looking for skills over experience.
