That is untrue. The 'non-injectable' part was absolutely NOT clearly communicated during our phone conversation prior to scheduling my appointment. If it had been, I never would have made the appointment in the first place. Then you set an appointment ONLY 2 days out with a 2 day minimum cancellation policy. It wasn't until the following day while I was finishing inputting my health history on your application that I realized Optimized Wellness Center only performs non-injectable ozone therapy. You took a $297 deposit during what was supposed to be a free 15-minute phone consultation, then booked an appointment at I time which I could not cancel and get a refund during that same 15-minute consultation. How then were your policies, including appointment fees and cancellation terms provided to me in writing before booking? This practice of taking a $297 deposit during my initial "free" 15-minute consultation, in addition to your unclear communication regarding your practices, and your handling of scheduling my appointment was unethical and predatory. You should return my money. After this I reached out to InfuseMD in Pleasanton to make an appointment for INJECTABLE ozone therapy. The assistant I spoke to on the phone was helpful and very friendly. They scheduled my consultation with the doctor a week out, which gave me enough time to finish the online health history and application, and thoroughly check to make sure I was getting the correct treatment. They didn't charge my credit card until AFTER the consultation with the doctor. They have a $50 cancellation fee only if you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. My consultation fee was $200 and lasted 40 minutes. I had my first treatment with them on MArch 25th, 2025 and it was a very pleasant experience. When I was cancelling my appointment, you emailed me to discourage me from Ozone autohemotherapy (IV) saying it would cost $800. My IV injection with UVBI and GSH took about 90 minutes for five passes with a professional nurse attending full time and another half hour for four Prolozone injections on my back by the caring doctor. All of these treatments combined cost less than $800. I have scheduled 3 further appointments with them. The only drawback is the driving distance to Pleasanton, but I think it is worthwhile for the treatment I receive there. I strongly believe in the efficacy of Ozone Therapy but non-injectable therapy will take much longer, require more frequent appointments, overall is more costly, less efficient, and can be done at home with an ozone generator. I have all the home ozone equipment and will continue with home ozone insufflation therapy after my treatment is finished with InfuseMD in April. read more

Since I felt his services were mediocre at best, I never wrote a review. But now I am writing that review and my strong message is "buyer beware." I was introduced to Tim Heath by an old friend who is a prominent East Bay resident. Over the years, she has turned me on to some of the most incredible practitioners. So, when I was looking for a chiropractor, she told me about Tim Heath. I felt his services were adequate but, compared to other chiropractors I've been treated by over the years, I didn't feel compelled to write a review. When I was paying for my session in 2023, he persistently and strongly encouraged me to buy a "five pack." My first reaction was not to but, I went ahead because I figured with my back issues I could certainly return five more times. So, I plunked down approximately five hundred dollars on a credit card for those sessions. There was no contract and NO MENTION of them being nonrefundable or that they would expire within a year. Then, geography and my work schedule became an issue. My hours changed and I was too far away to get there for his available appointment times. I tried repeatedly over the past months to schedule an appointment to no avail. I wrote a nice email explaining the situation and this was the response I received back from his "assistant:" "Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your expired package. We understand that things come up, and sometimes it's difficult to use all your pre-paid visits within the allotted time. As a reminder, our packages are non-refundable and expire one year from the date of purchase. While your package has unfortunately expired, we value you as a patient and appreciate your understanding of our policy. In light of this, we would like to offer you one complimentary visit as a gesture of goodwill. This will allow you to come back in and experience the benefits of chiropractic care again. We hope this offer allows you to prioritize your well-being and continue on your journey to better health." Would not recommend. Dr. Tim spoke to me over the phone about urgent treatment for my mother and never mentioned his office policy that requires intake forms filled out 7 days prior to the appointment. I called on a Thursday and he set her up with an appointment for SATURDAY. He advised me that he had a 48-hour cancellation policy but he never mentioned that he would force a cancellation and charge the full appointment fee if intake forms weren't filled out. Saturday morning he called my mother and told her he didn't have the intake forms filled out so he cancelled her appointment and charged her for the visit. His website domain is flawed, the forms were reset after we were almost done completing them, and they are questions with long responses. Very overwhelming to navigate. To charge a portion of the services rendered fee would be reasonable, but taking almost $300 when you didn't even see the patient because your lengthy intake forms weren't filled out is absurd! We are human beings trying to get alternative treatment for serious health conditions and your office policies are robotic and a burden to a person already crippled with medical bills! After being mugged in downtown Oakland in October of 2014, I suffered from a shoulder injury that continued to get worse. It kept me from sleeping through the night and prevented me from lifting my arm. I have had countless x-rays and MRI's all showing nothing, but there was no argument that I was suffering. After going through a series of routines for an evaluation of my neurological/spinal health I received an adjustment. Before, during and afterword's, Dr. Tim explains everything he is doing. On My second visit, I was still complaining about my shoulder pain. We discussed a little more in detail everything that had been going on. He had me do some more movements, observed & exclaimed, "I know what the problem is!", proceeded to twist me like a pretzel, heard a "POP" and no more pain. My First and/or Second Rib under my clavicle were out of place preventing my rotation and movement from being 100%. Now, my shoulder feels great and with exercise will get back to full strength. Maintaining an active and busy lifestyle is very important to me. As a high level competitive tennis player my main focus is recovery and keeping my body healthy and injury free. Recently, I pulled my hamstring to the point that it hampered my sleep, activity, cross train and ability to perform daily activities. I found Optimized Wellness Center online and was curious about the functional medicine approach. I really wanted to avoid taking unnecessary drugs, so Dr. Tim's approach was very interesting and made a lot of sense. I have tried many things including massage, PT, prescription medications, stretching, etc. but it never really went away. He was great in explaining why he was doing certain treatments and best of all I felt he had a solid understanding of my injury and also how my body has overcompensated for the injury. I found his use of various techniques helped realign my body and helped foster circulation which improved and sped up my recovery. He used several therapies that were unique, such as cold laser, ozone, myofascial release and some unique neurologic adjustments. Dr Tim was really thorough with his analysis and treatment and I left each session feeling like he did as much as he could, and I looked forward to seeing the results of the treatment. This was my very first time ever seeking or experiencing a chiropractor and what they are able to do. So after about a 12 hour drive in a fire engine, followed by 5 days of either being on the fire line or sleeping in a tent, I heard of Dr. Tim Heath offering chiropractor services at our fire camp. As a nurse, I was stressed out and burned out from having to work demanding 12-hour shifts, as well as, dealing with the stress of commute traffic. I'm glad that you have so many great reviews and I'm certain that you have a viable practice that's thriving; however, my experience with you at Jack London Square on Sunday was not great. I told you that I don't touch people when you offered to shake my hand. You immediately projected your judgement about that onto me by saying: "No one? You don't touch anyone? That must be quite difficult". It's not. I can manage and as soon as I trust someone it usually changes but you're a stranger and I didn't want to touch you. And I didn't need your commentary. Tolerance and acceptance are traits you might consider cultivating. Also, you completely disregarded my boundary when you placed your hand on mine FOR NO REASON after I had just told you I was uncomfortable with that. I found that disrespectful and rude. As a doctor it should be intrinsic in your approach to respect boundaries, be tolerant and respectful and not to project your opinions or beliefs onto your prospective patients. BTW - I did some research on your program. The only studies that have been done have been done by the maker of the apparatus you use and none of those have been peer reviewed - at least none that I could find.
