He showed my son a few tricks for his newly purchased mandolin and he even made sure it was tuned perfectly for us before we left. We had such a good experience in this place, we made sure to visit it twice while we were in Ottawa. If you're an officionado of music, this is the place to go!!! Fortunately, the majority of the staff are great, helpful, friendly and even have conversations on mutual recommendations. Also, credit must be given to one individual who has made up for an incident that goes beyond terrible service to neglectful, but the manager took care of that and he has proven to be more hospitable. They always encourage me to try out equipment that they truly think I'll dig. I just refuse to take advantage of their generous nature unless I'm able to make an actual purchase. I have made some exceptions however. I do wish their return policy wasn't so tight, but it's a simple case of "People ruining thing's for everybody else" that have compelled them do so. Great conversations, great prices. Anybody who is criticizing their price range I am compelled to ask where are you finding better? (Aside from one store that specializes in USED gear) Money's tight our economy is in shambles and these guys are doing the very best that they can to keep their stock affordable. I looked up "drum set tuning" and I clicked on the first website that caught my eye. I was very lucky. Mike McNeil came over and tuned out set, answered all our questions, told us what we might need going forward and gave my daughter a drum lesson as well. He worked very hard. He stayed for over 3 hours tuning, fixing the heights and offering advice. We were very pleased and my daughter was very happy. He takes his job very seriously. We also cover rudiments, grooves, music reading, odd time signatures, fills, time, many musical/drumming concepts & playing along to songs. Much of the lesson material for novice to intermediate level (& some advanced/professional material) is provided by me free of charge (files sent by email). There are published books to purchase at various points. My online lesson set up has evolved quickly with more improvements to come. My current set up allows me to play along to songs or a metronome in a way that allows you to hear both my drums & the song/metronome. I have 9 mic's on the drums & 1 mic on my voice to greatly enhance the clarity of the sound. This also increases separation between the different parts of the kit to help students better identify what I'm playing. The dedicated vocal microphone mounted to my headphones also allows me to speak & be heard no matter what angle I'm facing & allows me to be heard if I'm speaking while playing something on the drums. I have 5 cameras set up that I can switch between to emphasize a certain part of the kit depending on what I am demonstrating (pedals etc..). Other then the overall volume level which students can control on their end, the specific audio settings/overall mix & the camera angles are controlled by me (students cannot interactively control these on their end).

CARELESS AND RECKLESS Or INEXPERIENCE And IRRESPONSIBLE…read more would be best description if anyone hire this company. Beware. On about early February I spoke with three different movers one which was On Friday, February 10, 2023 Pronto Movers / pronto moving I spoke with Mr. Farhat who appeared to be reasonable. He said many things and sold empty promises to move my items without damages. I decided to hire Mr. Farhat because said I can have this arranged for $2200+ tax. I did not negotiate with him, I recognized the movers hard work. On February 16, 2023 price was agreed in writing for moving to first storage then March 23, 2023 to second move to home. The morning when he arrived at my door his price went up by $100 verbally. Fist tell-tell sign about Mr. Farhat. I dont know, is it lack of experience or responsibilities or he doesnt have knowledge of moving appliances, furniture. I had specifically told him I have high-end (brand new appliances), make sure nothing is damaged. He basically stuff everything in the truck putting things on top other things. Some fragile and valuable porcelains was put on the side, I told him take this at the end do not put anything on these boxes. He could NOT follow on simple importance of my things did communicate with his men. I had to tell each one them myself. Pieces of furniture with scratched. So if you are type of a person like me, who value his belongings I suggest you DO NOT consider hiring ProntoMovers/ProntoMoving. Unloading his truck of course at the end he damaged my appliances and (Mr. Ferhat) was open to said he will do something about it I said thank you just have it fixed. The damages were caused by himself, he stacked a big heavy BBQ machine on top of my appliances which got dented. He did not get back when my stuff was in storage for 30 days. On March 23, 2023 second location moving day, When it is delivered at my home we talked about the damages, he made some offers, I could not agree but days are passing, he started to go on offensive and disagree on things. I repeatedly asked him to fix it. I dont want money or compensation or anything else. YOU DAMAGED IT, JUST FIX IT. They are careless and took no responsibility and are giving me the run around, the company is making it difficult. I care about my things specially valuables and my brand new belongings. Beware -he charge customer for his insurance deductible -he is not clear about (who is responsible) damages under $200 -he will scratches, scuff, drag furnitures cause small repair cost -his Price and Quote will changes base the customers lifestyle, so his written quote is fake/false -he does not care how long will he take, he will give you the runaround

Ultimately, I was able to arrange to have a helper on the pick-up in Toronto, which kept the price well below that of his competitors. I sent a 25% deposit two days before the expected moving date. On the day of the move, just hours before he was expected to arrive to pick up the piano, Anthony informed me that due to a family-related appointment, he would be unable to pick up the piano as promised. This was not rescheduling needed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances; this was a cancellation made due to entirely foreseeable circumstances, again, after a sizeable deposit was provided. While I'm not happy that the move was not able to go ahead as scheduled, I appreciated Anthony's candour in subsequent exchanges, and he did refund the deposit in full so that I could reschedule with a different provider.
