This may help me out if I decide to buy an SG, additionally, one of the other workers helped me out with how to figure out the amplifier for distortion and gain, very helpful. Another thing that's interesting is that I didn't necessarily have to them if they could bring one of the guitars down, which I guess is mid, because I was obviously not trying to drop a guitar while trying to be able to try playing it and see what it was like. But otherwise, it was fun, the place was nice and organized, I definitely look forward to coming again.

Because of her age and the small size of the instrument (1/10) we went with renting - she is now 6 and isn't big enough to go up in size just yet. At another point we needed to get a new bow because of an unfortunate accident and they were so helpful. While their rental rate is a bit more than some of the other music stores, it is worth it knowing that our daughter will always have the right size as all staff are fully experienced with stringed instruments. They also have cellos, violas, and basses for rent and sale; offer restoration/repair; music stands; music books; and all the other accessories you might need. The nice thing is that they do have the very small sizes, including the 1/32, I believe. Her ensemble instructor has also recommended going to this place. I completely recommend going to The Sound Post, especially if just starting out.

Recently I had to bring my DJ equipment in to pawn as I needed money. My equipment was brand new with a brand new specially ordered flight case from Native Instruments for my Traktor Kontrol S8. It was in there for a few months. when the day finally came that I could go and liberate my equipment I was greeted with an unfortunate surprise. My brand new flight case seemed to be warped and was not properly closing. I also noticed a small dent on one of the metal edges of the case. I said is it maybe humidity that caused this damage as the front window of the shop has been missing for about the last half a year or so. he said no that wasn't it... I asked well what happened because you guys wouldn't have taken it in this condition. I was not answered to my satisfaction but was just happy to have my stuff back so I left, But I really shouldn't have. a week or so later I plugged my equipment in and felt a shock of fear when one of the screens on my equipment malfunctioned and glitched out... I updated the software and hoped this would fix the issue. The glitch has not occurred again since but I have only used it once since then. However the case was brand new and had cost me almost $300 I am disappointed in the condition in which it was returned to me. I am not saying I won't ever return here but I will be much more choosy with what I decide to leave there. I don't want to jump to assumptions but the few times I've brought it up with staff the issue was deflected or ignored really. I am worried that perhaps my equipment had fallen or been possibly damaged and I have not been fully informed. perhaps the damage is just cosmetic but I feel I should be reimbursed for the case which is not in the same condition it was when I brought it in.

You open the door to find a little waiting area with chairs and magazines for students and teachers. It's small, but very comfortable, and the piano rooms themselves are perfect for learning how to play an instrument, not stuffy or cold like other music schools. The teachers are very sweet and knowledgeable, and really know how to teach, not just demonstrate. While I was enrolled there, they never forced me to practice at home, but they definitely persuaded me to through encouragement. They don't let you slack off, and they stress that with practice, you'll get better. Very nice music academy!
