I had a very unpleasant experience today!…read more I haven't been followed through a store like a thief since I was 8 years old and was actively shoving a ring in my pocket, trust me when I say my parents made sure I learned a BIG lesson that day. I entered the store this morning and asked the gentleman for any recommendations helping cleanse chemo from my husbands system. The gentleman was great and helpful afterwards I proceeded to grab some vitamins I knew we needed to stock up on. I noticed the bitter ole lady that kept following me around. Rearranging perfectly tidy items right next to me in multiple different aisles as I was browsing for things. It was enough and obvious enough to make me feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable. It was clearly her watching me. Trust me the vibe was unpleasant and tangible. I ended my shopping and went up to counter (normally I drop my stuff and just leave OR more so, I usually say something!) but I proceeded up with the things I had in my hands and the same ole woman checked me out, she was RUDE refused eye contact, slammed the pen down on top of my receipt, handed my card to me with contempt I said "thank you" and she replied "yeah...." With this bitter expression on her face. For whatever reason she wanted me OUT of her store. I have shopped at this store for a few years and I have never been treated in such a way as I was today. Mind you I'm dressed well, showered donning name brand clothes and a bag. I do not fit a "can't afford to shop here stereotype" nor was I being shifty in my browsing. I looked for stocking stuffers and vitamins to help my hubby detox from his chemo regime. It's unfortunate that they felt treating their customers as thieves is the way to approach business. But I will shop elsewhere from here on out.

Rosauers should have closed for deep cleaning. Gotta drop some stars for Conner the evening manager in a delightful purple tie. What a boss!…read moreGettin' it DONE for his customers! I do, however, still need to throw some shade on that meat department. Just what the heck is going on in there?? I don't think standards are being met. The ground "beef" is, in fact, ground EVERYTHAAAANG, with little to no accuracy in labeling the fat % let alone the TYPE OF ANIMAL, which is kind of a big deal for those of us THAT EAT KOSHER or HALAL, and those of us with a damn sense of taste and value, for that matter! I went to the Kalispell Super1 the other night just to compare. Their ground beef is a rich red color, not anything like the crud they're selling at Whitefish now. And the meat department overall is just not so well kept anymore. And God help you if you happen by while they are cleaning, because you will get hit with a cloud of meaty cleaner solution steam, and the stoned teenager behind the counter DOES NOT care, which seems to be a sentiment from top to bottom in that department. Do better!

I usually stick to my go-to drinks like Thai iced tea or brown sugar milk tea, but this time I decided to try something different and ordered the Islander. It's a refreshing mix of strawberry and pineapple milk tea with non-dairy creamer, green tea, and mango popping boba. The flavor was delicious--fruity, refreshing, and perfect for a warm day. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the popping boba. That's just a personal preference, though--I still prefer traditional tapioca pearls. The drink itself was great, and I'd definitely order it again with tapioca instead. Service was fast, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, even with the busy festival crowd. Pro tip: Bring cash if you can. There's a 4% fee when paying with a credit card. Overall, I'm glad to have another boba option in the valley and look forward to trying more of their menu!
