I mean, every time I think I have a favorite flavor, I try something new and it replaces my number one. Right now I can't choose between the strawberry crunch and the peach cobbler cheesecake. The moment I bite into the strawberry crunch, nostalgic memories flash through my brain like rocket ships. I'm immediately taken back to high school days, munching on those strawberry crunch ice cream bars. Y'all really got these flavors so close to the inspirational treats that I can barely tell the difference. Now for the peach cobbler cheesecake... you know what? I have no words. That's how good it is. I'm a writer/published author and I'm simply speechless. All that to say... get the cheesecake!! You won't be disappointed.

Everything else was just average and a lot of more savory desserts than sweet. Only giving 4 stars because they did not have cannoli or rainbow cookies, which were the two main things we went in for. But overall, good experience.

The stuffed shake was the most disappointing. At $12 it was overpriced. They added a small piece of a brownie and some sprinkles. You got to keep the cup. It was so dark in there so I could barely see at the end haha. The table we went to was chipping on the side so anytime I moved it caught my dress which I wasn't not a fan of. The double stuffed was more like a soufflé than a cake - the star of that plate was the cheesecake ice cream. The chai mocktail was alright. It had a coffee ice cube which I wasn't a fan of since it was like gritty. 3 drinks and two desserts were $65. I feel like that's insane. Again - I get it, it's an experience but, eh. I feel like I could get better deserts elsewhere and now that I experienced it - I wouldnt be a repeat customer.

My friends and I got tons of filled cream puffs and cheesecakes - I got the matcha cream puff with matcha cream, the honey butter cream puff with vanilla cream, a cookies and cream mini cheesecake, and a lemon mini cheesecake. My parents LOVE their matcha cream puff. It's a tad sweet but the matcha flavor is delicious. My personal favorite is the honey butter cream puff-it has a crispy, sweet and salty shell that is DELICIOUS with the smooth cream. The cookies and cream cheesecake was rich, smooth, with chunks of Oreo cookies and the sweet creme. The lemon cheesecake was light and fragrant, perfect for a snack after lunch. I heard they make Japanese cheesecakes occasionally and cannot wait to try them!!! Please come support this local bakery and family, they make delicious cream puffs and desserts! I'll definitely come back whenever I'm in town.

I've wanted to visit Carmella's for some time, and today was the day we made it…read more I'm glad I had GPS, because Carmella's is in a somewhat odd location. You can't drive up to it, so that's a consideration for people with any ambulatory issues. However, there is a parking garage close by, so that will satisfy most people. I drove into the access for the parking garage, and dropped off hubby, as he has had recent foot surgery. I then drove back out to the street and parked. I do like free parking. The area in front of Carmella's is beautiful and expansive. A breeze was blowing, the leaves were moving, and you get to capture that view and feeling inside the restaurant. We sat right at a window. Hubby and I shared the Raspberry Almond Tart (GF) and a Latte. Yeah, it was GOOD. I mean good as in I Could Have Eaten An Entire Tart. But, come on; you know I didn't need that whole thing. Sigh. I can give my full endorsement of Carmella's, and especially their gluten-free tarts. SO delicious.

I will admit that my initial reaction to the Belgium waffle wasn't great. For a dine in experience, being served in a to-go container felt a little off, and the Smucker's syrup didn't exactly help matters. Let's be honest, that's not real maple syrup, and it definitely took away from the presentation. That said, the waffle itself redeemed those first impressions. It was delicious, light, and had this subtle hint of vanilla that made it feel a little more special than your standard waffle. That touch of sweetness and flavor helped me quickly forget my initial disappointment. The breakfast presentation could use a little upgrade, but the taste absolutely delivered.
