I couldn't be happier with the renovation of my townhouse in Greenpoint! Finding a company I could…read moretruly trust was not easy -- I'm very cautious when it comes to my home. But after meeting the team at A to Z Renovations, I finally felt confident I was in good hands. They were on point, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented throughout the entire project. Every step was handled with care and clear communication. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and I felt completely comfortable from start to finish. I honestly feel blessed to have found them. Trust is everything when you're doing a renovation, and A to Z truly delivered on every level. I highly, highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future.

My wife and I were delighted by the beautiful work done by ATOZ Renovations. We're not in the habit…read moreof writing rave reviews. (We're New Yorkers after all.) But the job they did deserves recognition. Among the many people worth a shout-out: designer Chaya Uzan whose enthusiasm and ideas gave us a sense that our project was quite special; and Robbie Goldberg, our day-to-day contact and project manager, who brought a craftsman's eye to all aspects of the job. When problems were encountered, problems were fixed. An example: once we installed a new oven in the kitchen we realized that we would have to do without a favorite built-in spice cabinet. Robbie came up with ingenious fix requiring some custom carpentry so that the spice rack did not disappear but became an integral of the whole. Anthony, our renovation expert, was our first contact with A to Z. He encouraged us not to give up on what we wanted the project to look like even though other renovators had told us it was impossible to do. He also offered to answer any questions we might have along the way. Then there's Shevy, the permit and insurance coordinator. She dealt with the necessary paperwork and kept the inspectors at bay so we did not have to deal with those headaches. And last but not least, Mario, the site manager, who was there every day, hands-on, always professional and pleasant. On that note, the entire team seemed to like one another and treated us and each other with a refreshing degree of decency and consideration. To summarize: The team at ATOZ was thoroughly professional and kept us informed with clear, consistent communication every step of the way. Importantly, the team worked efficiently to stay on schedule and were fair when an unexpected issues arose, providing clear solutions. The final result is exceptional, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to recommend ATOZ to anyone.

Any plumber or contractor will tell you that Home Depot doesn't stock everything. The Bronx HD's…read moreespecially are out of stock on a lot of useful items so it behooves us to find good plumbing supply stores in the Bronx. Enter Central Plumbing Supply. First of all, parking may be problematic here. I can never find street parking on White Plains Road, so I end up having to park on 213 street. There's a fire plug In front of the store so only park in front if someone else can sit in your car's driver seat while you shop. Also, Central is a little more expensive than Home Depot, and that's virtually always the sad reality for those of us who try to patronize small businesses that serve various home improvement supplies. Also, they have many items that Home Depot doesn't stock. But the service and convenience makes up for it. Everyone working here is very courteous and knowledgeable. And PATIENT! My father tells me to buy things at the plumbing supply place, I buy them, then he tells me he needed another size than what he had previously told me. I had to make returns. Returns, even with credit cards, are hassle free, however they have some exceptions on what you can return so be sure to read the signs at the counter carefully. I had to make two returns in one afternoon and they handled it very patiently and courteously without a grumble. And that's what impresses me about Central Plumbing Supplies above all, and that's why they get five stars from me. Please don't take advantage of their courteous nature though. I'll feel guilty if this review encourages such behavior! So overall, it's more expensive than Home Depot, parking can be a hassle, but they are very well stocked and the employees are really great. I highly recommend Central Plumbing Supply.

Ask to see your quartz before they mount and cut holes! INSIST ON IT…read more They delivered a BLACK COUNTERTOP. I ordered GRAY NIT CHARCOAL GRAY BUT straight UP LIGHT/MEDIUM GRAY. Third to get me to keep it with a $200 discount- i would not have kept it for full refund. My move was delayed a week costing me $800 more in rent and movers WAITING FOR WHAT I ORDERED. They never know when they are coming Fri sat Monday???? Timeframe vague. The lack of communication and coordination will leave you exhausted and asking why you didn't listen to this review. If you have had a positive experience consider yourself lucky. The Gray counter came and they cut the worst part of the slab. Looks nothing like slab on CItiquartz website. AGAIN AFTER SENDING ME BLACK AND TRYING TO CONVINCE ME IT WAS GRAY I WASNT GIVING A CHANCE TO LOOK AT MY COUNTER NOT BEFORE SLAB WAS CUT NOT TO DECIDE WHICH WAY TO BE CUT BASED ON MY USAGE. There is very little veining on the full right side. Wendy says that is normal. And tell me "I'm always the problem " I got the wrong colour counter and wasn't given the courtesy of viewing my next hopefully accurate quartz before the sink was cut or even before the piece was cut and given the circumstances it should've been insisted. To ensure there would be no further errors. The kitchen cabinets are a little cheaper than the samples that they show you in the store some shelves aren't staying up very well and I have never seen a sink cabinet come with two pieces it looks weird it took them a while but they did give me the single piece I'm pretty sure my Contractor had to pay for he didn't charge me because he's the good part of this process. This gets two stars instead of one specifically for Ariel who was the most helpful.

We ordered our full kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity, glass door for shower, and quartz countertops with sink. Kristen was able to work within our budget and payment schedule. As a developer, I would highly recommend Fivestar for your future remodeling project. Thanks Kristen and team for a job well done!
