I ordered my combo meal online and selected the time I wanted to pick up with a 15 minute time window. After checking out I got an email telling me my meal was being prepared and when it would be ready, confirming the time I chose. I arrived and got a text that my food was in the locker and to unlock the food click the link in the text. Maybe I'm old but this experience was super fun since I've never seen how these lockers work before. The locker opened and my food was packed nicely inside. I enjoyed a healthy beef shwarma wrap and fries. I could've chosen coleslaw as my side but coleslaw with Mediterranean food seems weird. I think a regular green salad or tomato feta cucumber salad would be a better pairing than coleslaw. The fries were good but not super crispy and the shawarma had a good flavor and fair amount of sauce and veggies. It wasn't as great as the unforgettable mouthwatering shwarma wrap we had in Paris with the fries nestled inside and meat bulging out, but it was hot and tasty.

Doors wide open so I knew there wouldn't be a/c running during this painful heat wave and I was right. It was hot in there. No one at the counter, so we awkwardly wait for about 4 or 5 minutes that felt a lot longer. Someone pops out, no greeting, like we interrupted them (maybe we did) and we order. I got a grilled cheese and my friend got the burger. He got the combo. When the dude asked if I wanted a drink, I said just a cup for water. He hesitated, then the look on his face looked like he was mad about it. We pay, my friend doesn't leave a tip on the screen because I wanted to tip in cash. And it took forever to get the receipt to the point of my friend saying "it's cool, don't need it". This dude seemed so annoyed by us. He didn't give us our cups so we sat down. He starts making the food. I was like, he's waiting to give us our cups so we get less refills since we only got one soda (just me overthinking, who really knows). When the food was ready, he brings it out to us, which was nice. My friend said, oh our drinks! And stands up. The guy points to the cups next to the register so apparently we were supposed to grab our own cups. The water from the soda fountain was good, didn't have that tap taste. That's a plus. We didn't share the soda, which I felt we were silently being accused of doing. The fries are hot and fresh and were really good. The grilled cheese was nothing special, smashed kinda flat so not super cheesy and pretty much like one your babysitter makes you at home. But that's a good thing so no complaint. My friend said the burger was really good, and the thousand island style sauce was superb- he said it tasted homemade and had a nice kick and took the burger to a higher level. Anyway, it was just an annoying experience that would have been a lot better if the guy showed any sense of friendliness and if he simply said "go ahead and grab your cups". Will I come back? No idea. Maybe not during a heat wave. I'd like to try the burger myself.

So off we go to Golden Eatery, because clearly our appetites still had unfinished business!! We ordered 10 wings, half Sweet Chili Pineapple, half Mango Habanero, because if you're going back in, you commit!!! Oh, and they came with tater tots. The food shows up hot and fresh, like it sprinted from the fryer to our table. The wings weren't breaded... just straight-up, no-disguise chicken coated in sauce. Respect!!! The sauces? Bold!!! Flavorful!! The tater tots were shockingly flavorful!! Not just filler tots. These had personality!! The ranch dip.... delicious!! Tasted like it was made in house, I could taste the dill weed!! In the end, we were stuffed, happy, and questioning absolutely none of our decisions... at least until we stood up. Highly recommend if youre feeling wings!!

It is almost like a fast food Mediterranean place, but the food is fresh (and delicious!). We ordered to-go through the phone, and did not have any problems. Once my hubbie went to pick up, he told me it is already prepared food you can pick and choose from. More reasons to go in person next time. I got their 1/4 rotisserie chicken + 2 sides. The chicken was SO good! Very fresh, tender, and flavorful. Their sides are on the more bland side, but you can always season to your liking. Hubbie's gyro plate was so good too! I would definitely recommend Mediterranean Guys, especially if you are looking for a quick bite. And I would most definitely go back again. Thanks for a great Mediterranean, guys!

What I found strange was that the prices had been wiped off the side of the truck. I asked about the chicken wrap, and the guy told me it was $20. At that price, I was expecting a pretty substantial wrap--maybe something closer to a loaded burrito. Unfortunately, the wrap was on the smaller side. It was packed with fresh chunks of chicken, which were surprisingly tender and not dry. It also had fresh greens and some kind of sauce that seemed to be mayo-based. Overall, the wrap itself was pretty good. That said, $20 for the size and what you get just doesn't seem justified. The food was decent, but the portion-to-price ratio was way off. And having the prices removed from the truck, followed by the $20 price left me feeling like the whole thing was a little shady... Good food, but not good enough to justify $20.
