I'll preface my review with saying I didn't end up renting here, only because in the end I decided to purchase a condo instead of renting. However, The Sinclair is the real deal and I would highly encourage anybody considering renting in one of the newer, upscale buildings to seriously look at this property. The units themselves are very nice - most are quite spacious and most have excellent closet space. Many units are brand new at this time and not lived in, and even if it has been lived in there is still a feeling of "brand new" with all the modern touches. Overall, rent is certainly in line with other new buildings, if not just a bit above average but only by perhaps $100 to $200/month on a 2 or 3 BR unit. That's totally justified given all the pluses in this building. The building amenities are fabulous - a HUGE pool area with plenty of seating, bar, cabanas, etc. There is also a really nice community area, conference facilities, storage, dry cleaning, friendly door staff, and on and on. The development is also very pet friendly, although my only gripes here are the dog run has a huge hill/slope and if your dog will only go on flat areas you may have an issue. Also, the dog wash was outside, which renders it unusable 5+ months of the year due to Chicago weather. You have every amenity imaginable here - all well maintained and kept to the highest standards. Finally, last and not least, the building management is amazing. I worked with 3 of their leasing agents. Everybody was so nice and accommodating. They definitely took care in showing the units, and also did whatever they could to make you feel at home. It was so nice to know that such competent and nice people are running the show. If I ever decide to rent in Chicago, I can't say I'd look at any other building. Do yourself a favor and secure your next apartment at The Sinclair. read more

My Fiancé and I moved into the Sinclair in March. When we first we toured the building in September, we immediately fell in love. Several months later, I know we made the right choice. The leasing process was easy - great follow-up to answer all of our (many) questions. We moved cross country and everyone was so helpful. The move-in was easy and had the most amazing welcome gift package I've ever seen or heard of. The amenities are really A+. From the gym (peloton bikes!), to the media room, conference room (great place to work from home!), the dog run (and spa). The party room is an amazing space to hang in or host an event from. That's all before we even get to the deck and the pool with picturesque views of downtown! Oh, and it's connected to a grocery store! All of these things just make it an easy and amazing place to live. We chose a 2 bedroom apartment with lake and city views and floor to ceiling windows. It sounds cliche, but it just makes you smile when you walk in the door. Beautiful kitchen, thoughtful layout, and huge bathrooms and closets. The staff (leasing, resident experience team, maintenance, management) from Bozzuto Management are friendly and thoughtful. Special shout out to the General Manager, Kerry. I work in real estate/property management and have worked with hundreds of property managers. Kerry is amongst the most talented, thoughtful, and competent leaders I have ever met. She makes the whole operation flow seamlessly. The location is wonderful! Right next to transportation. Close to the lake, wells street, Gold Coast, etc. I could go on and on. We moved into the Sinclair, in late Feb of this year. We're new to the city, and are happy that we've chosen the Sinclair as our base to explore Chicago. We love our apartment - we're very high up, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer jaw dropping views of the lake, Chicago, and some stellar sunsets. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-thought out, and stylish - love the high ceilings, grey floors and grey accent wall, and the kitchen and bathrooms are gorgeous. Other people have already extolled the virtues of the amenities - pool, dog run, grilling area, gym etc. - but what makes the Sinclair special is definitely all the lovely people working here. From Kerry, Amila and the leasing team - Andrew, Ian and the front desk team, and David and the maintenance team - NOTHING is too much trouble. They've gone way above and beyond for us - things like watering our plants when we're away, leaving urgent packages directly in our unit, exceeding our expectations with dealing with maintenance requests - we've been really impressed. And, just as, if not more! important, they are SO lovely when you walk in and out the door. A cheery "have a great day," or "welcome home!" every time. I moved into The Sinclair the first week of November, and my experience thus far has been nothing short of amazing. From the location, the finishes, the amenity floor, the friendly staff, the building is all around amazing. Little touches like the Luxer Package system allow for 24/7 secure package pickup, as well as a refrigerated drop-off for groceries, blue apron, etc. The Pressbox dry cleaning lockers also make life easier. At the end of the day The Sinclair has focused on making life easier for it's tenants, and as a busy professional that is also on the go, that means a lot! I have a 32nd floor city view, and the unobstructed views are gorgeous all day long. The gym and pool deck on the 6th floor are a couple of my favorite features. The little touches and attention to detail in the units are top quality, I have an enormous shelved-out walk in closet that connects my bedroom and bathroom. The move in process was seamless, and from that point I have loved living in The Sinclair. The entrance to the Clark/Division red line is steps from the front door, making my commute to work so convenient. Also, you can access the brand new Jewel on the first floor without having to leaving the building! read more

The Sinclair is amazing. My boyfriend and I moved to in about two and a half months ago. We moved from down the street, so the neighborhood is not new, but the building has made us ask, how were we not moving in the second this building opened up?! We live in a one bedroom unit, and have North views. The windows are essentially floor to ceiling, and there is so much natural light all day. The building is brand new, so everything is in great shape. The maintenance staff is attentive and prompt, and the staff downstairs is so welcoming. I introduced myself one time and since, everyone greets me by name. The sixth floor has all the amenities you could ever want, including a dog run, cinema room, full kitchen/party room, and gym (with complementary yoga classes!). The building puts on lots of social events, including happy hours, cooking classes, game nights, and even a holiday party. Everything is so above and beyond. We are so grateful and happy we chose The Sinclair. The staff, building, and amenities simply cannot be beat. read more

My wife and I moved into the Sinclair in January and have had such a great experience. What a beautiful building with so much nearby! There are so many great places to eat within walking distance and the views are incredible. Since the building is brand new, the units are spotless with top of the line fixtures and appliances. Also, the amenities are unmatched. The gym is huge with anything you could ever need, including 2 Peloton bikes, a yoga studio, and plenty of free weights including a bar bench press. The party room includes a full kitchen and is the perfect place to rent out for a party or family gathering. We cannot wait to use the outdoor space this summer with the pool, grills, and cabana areas with TVs. Also, we love using the theatre room and can't wait to try out the new shuffleboard table. The management staff and door staff are so helpful and friendly and help make it a welcoming place to come home to. I could not picture a better place to live and experience Chicago! read more

This building is amazing. It is one of the newest high rise rental projects in the gold coast in years. The experience of living in the Sinclair is comparable to a top tier multinational hotel with the layouts, amenities, and floorplans. But the everyday interaction in the community is very friendly and welcoming like a small family business with big hearts. Each and every one of the building personnel says "hello"and "have a good day." The staff is genuine and sincere with the way they handle all encounters. The amenity floor has the feel of a resort with the way it has the outdoor bar area, cabanas, and pool setup. It is very easy to feel as if on vacation and let the stress drift away. The open floorpans and kitchen designs make bring a comfortable and soothing feeling to the building. The incredible storage provided in the closets and kitchen cabinets are some of the best I have seen. Overall, the Sinclair is much more than a building, it is a soothing escape from daily stress. read more

The property manager, Kerry, runs a truly top notch operation. Everything is always perfect. The resident experience team is also the most friendly, professional group of people who constantly strive to go above and beyond. Their answer to everything is always, "yes, of course. Let's make that happen." The maintenance team is also on it. I asked for touch up paint for a wall that was scuffed during move-in. Anywhere else, they'd drop off some paint. Not here. They insisted on painting it for me! And did it like an hour after I submitted the request. How's that for service? That's just one of many examples. It's also in a steps to everything location with easy access to Old Town and Gold Coast (two very different, but equally awesome neighborhoods) with short walks to the river and beach/lake path. I recently moved to Chicago from Houston, Texas for work at very short notice. I didn't know anyone and had never been to Chicago before, so finding a place to live that I loved was very important to me. I stumbled upon the Sinclair and I am so happy that I decided to make it my home. From day 1, the leasing agents and staff have been incredibly helpful. On move in day, they provided movers that carried all of my furniture, clothes, and stuff. We moved in October of 2017 and the Sinclair has been SUCH a dream place to live. The pool, hot tub, cabanas, theater rooms, gym, yoga room, massage room, shuffle board, billiards table make this place so fun to live. Not only is the entire property crispy clean at all hours of the day, the staff makes me so excited to be home everyday. I moved to Chicago with my husband in 08/2017 and had no clue where to live in the city. Since moving in I have had no complaints. The location is great - within walking distance to a number of bars and restaurants. I love that it is attached to the grocery store and close to the lake. During the summer it is nice to walk to Lincoln Park and Zoo. I really enjoy the multiple events the complex has each month. The complex has a pool with cabanas, outdoor bar and grills, outdoor dog run, party room, conference rooms, and cinema room that I have taken full advantage of. They also have a great gym with multiple treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, free weights and a yoga room. The front door staff is always super friendly and helpful with any questions we may have. I moved into the sinclair three months ago, and it has been such an excellent experience so far. The apartments and the amenities are gorgeous. But the differentiating factor is really the staff. The doormen are so kind and responsive. Andrew always tells me in the morning what events are going on in the building and writes really thoughtful emails about things to do in the city. He also gives me updates about our dog who gets taken out by a dog walker during the day. Ian, the evening doorman, is so kind and caring, always asking me how I am when I come home from work and sharing his enthusiasm about the Sinclair. He's also been so great about helping me when I get locked out of my apartment and is so sweet to our puppy!
