The haircut itself was good, I was given what I had asked for without hesitation. However, when my hair was being blow dried, it felt as if my hair was being yanked by the round brush. This was painful and not very pleasant. Overall, I don't plan on going back for the sole reason of if I'm going to pay $60+ for a haircut, I'd like to enjoy my time in the chair. If you're looking for a quicker haircut experience go ahead. The hairdresser was very friendly and even offered me a discount. No hate to the salon I just don't think I got my moneys worth compared to other salons that I've visited.

She said 2.50 for the hair dye (again, how unprofessional, no salon ever has charged for more product); then the rest is some BS they put on a card board at the register for "environmental"...so they recycle my washed up hair (GROSS!) and charge me so they can be better to the enviornment?? The clueless receptionist was not able to explain further. I told her point blank this is NOT how you treat customers, you tell them up front what the service costs and that's how it works. If they want to tack on $10 add'l for nonsense charges, LET ME KNOW UP FRONT. This is the most ludicrous thing I have ever seen/heard. The charges continue. I went to tip and they use "tippy" so I got to pay an additional $3 or so just to tip my stylist! Unbelievable this place is!! To the manager of this store: this was my first visit to your salon. I felt they were very cute, I have just been bad at maintaining them. I recently went back for a bang trim so that they can start growing out naturally. Lauren always curls my hair, and provides a comfortable space as she does her magic. She offers beverages too! As a guy, I typically wouldn't have gone looking for a luxury haircut experience, but like many of my peers I have been working from home during Covid and used the time away from the office as an excuse to try something new with my hair and grow it out for the first time since I was in college. Now that my hair was long enough to experiment with some new styles, I was eager to get an appointment booked with someone as skilled as Alex to help me find a look that would work for me. As soon as I arrived, it was clear that Alex takes his craft seriously and he's done an incredible job designing an inviting and luxurious salon. I came prepared to my appointment with a few inspiration pictures to help demonstrate the kind of look I was hoping for. After reviewing the pictures with Alex, he talked me through his ideas for my hair and how we could actually go with a more modern, modified version of the type of cut I was looking for.
