Recently opened, took over Town Tavern, which totally broke my heart. A good day to eat close by since we were dropped with some 10 inches of snow overnight and today. It's too cold to walk much and a pain to have to park downtown with the islands of snow in the middle of the roadways, but then again we found a spot within a block. Jess is waiting on us. Ordered truffle fries, as Gouda as it gets with avocado ilo of bacon, the olive oyl, Ty cobb salad less bacon. We are eating carbs galore since it's Fat Tuesday and we are going to cut out fried foods for Lent for the next 6.5 weeks. The truffles fries are not shoe string sized at all, but tasted quite good. Nicely seasoned, crispy, and flavorful. They are easy to inhale for sure. The Gouda as it gets is so vanilla and tasteless. I asked for some BBQ sauce to get it down. There's sautéed onions on it but it's devoid of flavor to me. It seemed dry, it needs some sauce to accompany this panini style sandwich. It's very lacking. The olive Oyl was okay, the garlic aioli was okay, the sandwich as a whole was bland and boring. The Ty Cobb is big, we split it into two bowls. The lettuce leaves were a bit old and burnt in my old and ate a few bites of lettuce that tasted rather expired. The balsamic dressing is also lack luster to me. They charged me $0.75 for a side of BBQ sauce for the fries, that should have been mentioned to me when I ordered it, no? I advised Jess to let customers know about the up charge. She told me one side comes with the fries, I said that's fine, it would have been good to let me know was all. It was all just okay, not quite deserving of the space it took over, just yet. The truffle fries was the best part of our meal tonight. Just take off the shoestring fries off the menu, they are normal sized fries. It has potential, but still needs some tweaking, as the service was good until the excuses at the end.

Wow, I am not sure what happened. Somehow this review has been sitting in my draft since 04-18-2021. This was my first time coming here tonight. I met up with a couple of buddies after work for food and drinks. First off, I have to say Samantha was fantastic. She was a delight to deal with, and she put up with my buddies' boomer stuff. Lol, I mean shit, but I am not sure if I can say that on her. Anywho she was a delight to deal with, and honestly, dealing with my boomer friend, I feel like she went about and beyond. I got the chicken sandwich and chips, and it was fantastic. The chick was so juicy. And the chips, I think, were homemade. I will be back placed is an excellent hangout.

I have been here twice so far and have truly enjoyed it for a date night with my boyfriend. Really amazing food, for the price, which is on the pricey side but, WORTH IT! Staff is always kind and helpful. I enjoy going out to this place on a weekend the vibes are chill with good music and fantastic lighting.

Everything was good! It's been a bit since I've been here since I forgot to review it after I went. But I had a whiskey drink, some onion rings and a turkey sandwich. I liked the ambiance of the place, and they were following covid guidelines. I'll definitely be back

Stopped in for dinner and was positively surprised at the new look of the bar. Didn't change much but it does look a little classier and I like the big TVs. A nice dark ambience surrounds you and would be ideal for a date night. I had the brokeback burger and fries and my friends had sandwiches. All the food was very tasty and high quality. The service was great and our waitress was also very good. The one thing that threw me is the style of food didn't match the ambience. The quality was impeccable and the flavor was great, but The food items are very bar-ish while the ambiance was a lot more classier in my opinion. Also, some of the names of their dishes are a little cliche. I also had an old fashion that was quite good but for the price it seemed like it was a little short. with a large ice cube it barely filled up half of a rock's glass for around $11 or $12. Definitely plan on coming back to try additional items on the menu! Glad something opened up here during this rough time.

Honestly sometimes I just stop by for a coffee and cookies, cakes, and/or muffin - TOO many options. The ambiance is fantastic. It lives up to its name in every scenario - even on the bathroom doors. The inside and outside was decorated head-to-toe in festive lights, ornaments, and wrapping paper. My party and I sat in their igloo outdoor seating which highlighted the festive atmosphere. I tried their Santa's Milk & Cookies holiday cocktail, which came in a festive Mrs. Claus' mug. The drink was VERY strong! I ordered the Crisper Chicken Sandwich which had a delicious pesto aioli and sun-dried tomato relish which elevated the sandwich. Yum! Folks still get confused that the garage entrance door won't get them into the restaurant…read more It is mostly a sit down only. The counter space is the kitchen space and check-out, a different layout and setup inside than its predecessors. Not an inexpensive menu here at all. However the menu is quite extensive and expansive for vegan options. Gets a bit chilly without a coat since the door rushes in cold blasts of air to keep the dining area cool. Had to put my coat back on. I was glad I had on warm boots on as well, as I could feel the coolness on my legs. Ordered a protein bowl with steak, the lobster melt and the cowboy burger. $71.02 They are out of guacamole and sweet potatoes, today. :( There is a large party ahead of us with about 14-16 people and their food is slowing down our food from coming out in a timely manner. The protein bowl was okay, the steak was quite dry and definitely overcooked. The green goddess dressing is super thick and creamy, but doesn't have a lot of flavor to it. I was glad to get the lemon vinaigrette dressing to add some tartness and flavor to the overall salad. Some of the chick peas were hard as a rock - quite odd. Not sure this salad was worth $23. The cowboy burger was good, messy, but it stayed intact. $22 seems a bit steep for a vegan burger though. The lobster melt tasted pretty good, however, the white sourdough bread slice didn't hold up so well to each bite and fell apart, rather brittle. I ended up having to gut the sandwich and eat it with fork bites. Eating it as a hand sandwich was too hard to eat. $22 for a composite vegan melt. Hmm. :/ I do like the food choices, the cowboy burger was the better of the 3 picks. Prices are hefty for what you get.

A lot of push on happy hour and I'm not a drinker lots of us vegans are not. Guess that explained the loud drunk guy at the bar cursing up a storm. Is this a bar club or a lunch place that my party can hear me talk? It was 1pm. The Food: Wanted to like it but when it's a beyond burger and a protein bowl that I have to cut each item it's a problem. No real creativity. Vegan food is not just throwing a package meat replacement on a bun and veggies. In house meat replacements, homemade sauces are a must. Scale down the menu quality not quantity. Looked like the Cheesecake Factory menu. Ordered waffles for my son those were good but not what we ordered they ran out of items and forgot all the toppings. The service: Slow ( was only 3 people in the place) and was not what we ordered. Had to keep asking for condiments for food. I don't see this place lasting and sad because I'm sure they put their heart into it. The food has to be on point with items that are made from scratch. My comments may seem harsh but I hope to see them stay in business but make the necessary changes to thrive in the vegan restaurant business. Restaurants are already a hard market to stand out in. Good Luck MV! I don't think I will be coming back. It has to be a heck of a lot better than what I make at home.
