Some crunchy and some a little soft. The dill pickle... not my favorite but that's my take. Do Not skip the appetizer. The mushrooms are amazing. They are roasted or braised, and they are delicious. The best pulled pork sandwich in downtown Menomonie?! The sauce sounds like it would be weird because there is mustard in it but I can confirm that it is delicious and really makes the sandwich. Apart from the atmosphere, food and staff there are really good drink specials at The Abbey as well! Every day there is a near unbearable special. When school is in session these deals are definitely taken advantage of by the Stout students. The tables around us that sat after us were waited upon pretty quick. The young guy that finally came to our table seemed like it was his first day. He knew little about the menu and barely talked. Anyways, we ordered a flatbread pizza and the cream cheese olive burger. It took a while to get the food, but it was good. The burger was cooked well and had a lot of toppings. The fries were tasty and crispy. Overall, it was ok. I'd like to go back just to give it another shot.
