I've been taking my '96 Dodge Ram to the shop for years. Always had a good gut check that Scott and his team were fair, honest and knowledgeable. However, last year that was put to the test and proven true. Scott fixed my truck, but after getting it back the serpentine belt broke. Really odd, so I took back up and they fixed it again. Long story short...it happened like 4x with no obvious sign of why. Scott took special interest it and really took care of me, even fixed another problem he found at no charge for the inconvenience. When I say this issues was extremely odd and perplexing I'm not joking, but Scott eventually found and fixed it. The Shop....Amazing!! Kevin...Amazing!!! It was Thursday 430pm and my service engine light turned on. It was nearly closing time. To make matters more complicated my family was leaving on a road trip first thing in the morning. I could have easliy been turned away but Kevin was determined to help us. Not only did he resolve our problem, (which was that a quick oil change store placed the wrong filter) he did it quickly and efficiently. I am grateful for his act of kindness. By far the WORST shop I have ever been to. Took my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer into these guys to have them figure out why the service engine light was on. Prior to taking in into them, I was able to determine what the error code was and with Google some of the things that may be wrong with the vehicle. I fixed all the easy things that I could and the light was still on. So finally I had to take it to a professional ("The Shop") & they ran the diagnosis & they told me what it was (a $750 repair). I look up the repair that he quoted me and determine that it's something I can do for $200 in parts (the rest was labor which wasn't bad given the amount of work it involved). I go to pick up the car, pay him for his diagnosis and take the car home. When I get home, I hook the vehicle up to my code reader and now the reader is giving me two additional error codes!!!!! I open the hood to look around and it turns out he didn't put the vehicle back together after the diagnosis. I then also look at some other repairs that I did myself (which I disclosed to him prior to the diagnosis) and turns out that he moved and ignition coil to a coil that wasn't even giving an error message. He moved it to the #5 position when the #2 was giving the error code. This told me that he had no idea what the firing order was for this vehicle (I'm not even a mechanic but know how to read a shop manual and google something). Pair this with him not putting my vehicle back together and I really doubted his (or his staffs) ability to do the job I was paying them for. I do the repair he said was the issue, put the car back together and the light is still on... Fast forward 3 weeks and the water pump on the car goes out. I take it to this guy b/c he is close to my house and I didn't feel I could make it much further. He tells me heard the water pump on my way in and quotes me a price to fix it. I also ask him if he could run a compression test on the car & he said that he would. He calls me up after the water pump is done and then tells me the compression is bad in the #2 cylinder and that I basically need a new engine. I confronted him on the phone about how he missed this during the first diagnosis he did and he just said that he could sworn it was the fuel injector. I'm a man that likes to have these discussions face to face b/c anybody can BS you on the phone but when you ask somebody questions face to face it's harder for them to BS you. I go into his shop the next morning to pay for the new water pump and ask him how he didn't catch the low compression during the first diagnosis I paid him for. He states again that he could of sworn it was the fuel injector. After I keep asking him he finally confesses that he never ran the compression test and that he just missed it!!!! A friggen compression test would have taken a pro 15 mins to do but since he missed it I ended up dropping $1k to fix an engine that needed to be replaced. I ask him what he going to do about it and he tells me that he won't charge me for the 2nd diagnosis that he did. WOW, you won't charge me for the second diagnosis you did b/c you didn't do your job on the first one I paid you for???? What a horrible human being and I can only pray that karma will take care of this incompetent owner. This shop is the worst in Pinellas county & they have no skills to complete the jobs they are charging people for. Take you vehicle to ANYWHERE else or just light it on fire if you plan on taking it to "The Shop". read more

Horrible place !!! They want your money !!! came in to have my thermostat replaced and they told me my Head gaskets where blown ! My car was driving fine, no white smoke or milky oil. They wanted to charge me 2300,- to have BHG replaced. I went for a second opinion, all test where great and they replaced my Thermostate. only 225,- Head gaskets where absolutly fine!! Second place agreed that Kevin told me a BS story about the BHG and can not be trusted !!! Watch out for them they want your money !!! read more
