Inside, they have a really nice range of shoes and boots. They are set out in the style of a pile-'em-high-sell-'em-cheap type of shop, but they still have some nice shoes. I very often end up buying more than one pair because I can't make up my mind and the prices are really very reasonable. They also sell bags, sports bags, a bit of jewellery, and the occasional accessory like fancy scarves.

However I have found the quality of some of the shoes quite poor, especially those for my daughter. I bought her some new school boots there a couple of weeks back and they were runied within one day of her wearing them for school. although I wouldn't expect them to last too long as I only paid ten pounds for them, but I would have thought they would have lasted for more than one day! I don't intend to but any more shoes for my daughter from here; I think that the prices are good but the quality is very poor, and I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

I personally do not skateboard (as my son does) but I do own a pair of skate shoes and they are the most comfortable things to wear on your feet-like walking on air! Whenever I want a new pair of vans I usually go to rubber sole because the staff a friendly and helpful and you always get good quality for money and they tend to always have a reduced shoe rack which if your lucky you can sometimes catch a bargain! This branch is split over two floors, with women's clothing, shoes, bags, and a few seasonal decorations on the ground floor. Upstairs, they have men's and children's clothing, toys and games, ornaments, kitchenware, lighting etc. TK Maxx seems to have a reputation (at least on the television) as being a brilliant place to buy designer clothing on the cheap. Well, I can't really dispute that as I don't bother much with the clothing. To be honest, I find it all a bit of a jumble, hard to find the right sizes, and to my mind the stuff is still over-priced! However, I do like TK Maxx for toys and for household items. I've managed to buy some real bargains int he toy department. The problem is, like the clothing, I suppose, it just depends on what they get in. You have to rummage around and you may find a single item that you like, but they will only have one of them most of the time! I did manage to get a lovely star shaped light-shade for about £6, which I know was £18 in B&Q (because I had already bought one!). So I would definitely recommend having a look round this shop - you could find bargain. The only real downside is the check out queues. I don't think I've ever been in without there being a long queue for the check outs, and it feels like it takes ages to get to the front! Oh, and the other thing I don't like is that they charge you for carrier bags!

Its a new store and looks fantastic. The staff are very friendly and offered excellent service, I would definately recommend a visit to this store, you wont be disapionted.
