Traditional shop within the well established chain. Sells a range of scottish clothing and gifts. Popular with the more mature shopper although I love the scarves and shortbread. read more

It sells a wide range of gifts and cards; pretty trinket boxes, jewellery, pashminas, scarves, unusual clothing and witty fridge magnets among other gifts. Many of the cards the shop sells are very pretty and rather unusual and you'd be hard pushed tofind them anywhere else. They're not overly expensive either. There's probably something to suit most people you know. Well worth a visit if you're looking for an unusual or unique present.

I immediately e-mailed on Christmas day to ask about an exchange but decided to order another pair so as to not miss out. I had no response to my original e-mail so I rang them today and was told that it was out of the fourteen day returns period and out of the 'extended Christmas period'. What am I supposed to do, get my wife to try them before Christmas ?? I would even have accepted a credit note in return but was told there was nothing I can do, I will not be using this store again and advise people buying gifts not to do so either!!! Since I wrote this review they have agreed to refund the money. The original service was excellent and had it not been for the initial problem we had, I would've awarded more stars. I've increased the star rating in recognition of them bending their rules to provide a good level of customer service. We will use them again.

I gave their clothes a shot, I bought their duffel coat and some other items, the coat's stitching around the pocket came undone hours after buying it. The stitching in general is poor. Another thing is the compaint letter from one of their customers published in this seasons catalogueturn over a few pages and you have a model with her nipples showing, essentially spitting in the face of their customers. If you complain to Jack Wills, instead of considering your issue, they'll publish it and have everyone laugh at it, ohand you still buy their poor quality clothessothe two directors are basically laughing at everyone who shops there. Trust me stick to real quality with real sophistication like Ralph Lauren, Hackett, Brioni (if you can afford it), Canali etc.
