This is a really big Marks and Sparks store - huge food selection (much better than the one at Teesside Park) which has just all recently been revamped to follow the newer M&S design of black floors and walls with all those posters of food facts. One thing though - the food area is always cold I find, possibly because of the fridges. There are loads of great deals on food - dine in for £10 is a brilliant offer and they often have 2 ready meals for £4, you're bound to find something. My personal favourite is 5 cookies for the price of 4 from the bakery.
The womens section and gift section is located on the bottom floor - pretty much every womens M&S clothes range is here - Peruna, basics etc. Clotehs can be expensive but are good value for money. Keep an eye out for sales as there are huge reductions.
Upstairs is childrens, mens, home, a cafe, lingerie and a toilet. Again it has all been revamped. The cafe is cafe revive, the Marks and Spencers cafe and sells drinks and small snacks such as cakes, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and soup - there aren't any heavy meals sold here anymore. It's also quite expensive but nice if you want to treat yourself. Beware of huge queues at lunchtimes.
Mens sells a lot of suits, never really look round this seciton much though! The childrens wear is huge value for money if you're looking for some long lasting clothes that aren't too pricy and the lingerie section is one of the favourite lingerie places in England I find. There is also a currency exchange upstairs located near the childrens section.
On the whole, it's a big Marks and Spencers and worth a look around. read more
