My friend reached out to me to help her find a place to get her first lip flip, and knowing how much I love Yelp, she trusted me to find her a spot! The Shine Spa was one of the first places I found, and I immediately knew it was the one! I tagged along with my friend to provide emotional support and my hand for her to squeeze. The experience start to finish was fabulous. Booking an appointment online was easy and straightforward. Upon arrival, there was plenty of street parking available. We walked in and were greeted right away. My friend checked in, and we waited for a few minutes in the lobby. It was very modern and comfortable in there. Then, we headed back to a private room. Everything was super clean and inviting. I can't recommend Sam enough. She was INCREDIBLE and beyond helpful. Because my friend had never gotten injections or anything like that before, she had lots of questions and wanted to know what would work best for her. Sam walked her through the entire process and gave honest advice on everything. My friend ended up choosing a lip flip over filler, and she felt very reassured on her decision. I recently went to The Shine Spa for the first time for microneedling and dermaplaning with Natalie. (I had Natalie as an esthetician at another spa and tracked her down here, she's that good!) The experience was great! Of four different estheticians who have done microneedling on me, her technique has been the least painful. Natalie was able to numb my skin thoughtfully so I barely registered the microneedling pinpricks, even at the edges of my face. My skin tolerated the treatment with little down time, definitely due in part to the calming cream and care instructions Natalie gave me afterwards. I'm easily paying twice as much coming here, but I will pay for Natalie's professionalism and many years of experience. read more

I LOVE coming to the Shine Spa for all of my anti-aging treatments.  The atmosphere is inviting, clean, fun and smells so good!  They definitely have created an amazing vibe!  The front desk girls, Lindsay and Justine, always great me with a smile and make me feel so welcome.  My skin has transformed and never looked better after the Skin Pen/Microneedling treatments I've had with Natalie and Genevieve.  I have also had tox with both Melanie and Kelly. I am already an anxious person and even more so when it comes to injectables, trying new things, etc. I've been getting Botox/Dysport for the past two years, but this was my first time getting lip fillers. I made an appointment during a spring sale they had for new clients. It was a whole $375 off 1 syringe of Restylane Kysse. So, if I remember correctly, I got one syringe for $325 total which is hard to find anywhere. I showed up to my appointment and did have to wait a bit because my injector was still with a patient before me. Despite that, the front desk receptionist was extremely attentive, friendly, and accommodating. She made sure I was comfortable and grabbed me a soda water. Once I made it in with Molly Bailey, she also made me feel comfortable and took the time to answer all of my nervous questions. She gave me a nice amount of numbing cream and waited a good amount of time for that to kick in. Then she gave me a stress ball and that vibrating tool that looks like a little bar. I did not feel any pain. All I felt was her gloves holding my chin, and I could kind of hear the injection which I thought was funny. But overall, I was absolutely in love with the result. Molly was definitely right in saying that I might love what it looks like immediately after but to not get attached because a lot of the swelling goes down. I went in to work the next day with a mask, but when I was eating only 1 one of my coworkers said something about the bruising, lol. I was also glad she didn't let me do 1/2 a syringe because I definitely feel like I want to go back for more! I will definitely be back at The Shine Spa and would recommend this facility to family and friends! read more

This is a quaint spa in a Unique building in a revived area of town that provided us timely service during a time when indoors and close face to face service was not so easy. I had Botox and intended to have filler but she didn't think I needed any and explained the ins and outs of the different dermal fillers. My rewards points were added in and the price reduced which was nice. We drove 100 miles to visit Shine spa based on a friend's recommendation. read more

I met Alyssa thru an event at the hair salon I go to and took the plunge to get Botox for the first time on the spot. I loved it!
